Parichay 5th September 2012 Written Update

The episode starts with Kunal gambling and wining and says he is winning today despite of his permanent bad luck. Abhay walks in to the bar to meet Kunal. Kunal asks him why he is there? Did he not take his advice and lost 400 crore deal? Abhay says he didn’t lose 400 crore and is there to play cards with him. Kunal says he might not win. Abhay says he always have good luck with him to make him win. Kunal says his bad luck is always there with him and that is stronger than the good luck. They start to play cards. Abhay asks If Kunal works at the that bar and that’s why he didn’t accept his offer? Kunal says he doesn’t work there but only comes to fulfill his necessities. Abhay offers him to work in his company which will fulfill both of their needs. Kunal asks him to play cards. Abhay bets big amount and Kunal tells him not to be too greedy. Kunal is losing and borrows 2K from his friend to bet. Abhay says today is the first time his luck was not with him and he lost. Abhay offers Kunal his business card again and asks him to re-consider his offer.

After Abhay leaves, other people on the table look at Abhay’s cards and wonder If Abhay was wining then why did he leave? Kunal sees his cards and says Abhay willingly lost because Kunal needed the money more than him and goes after Abhay.

Back at Diwan house, Anand Jr. is listening to the music while studying. Siddhi comes and stops the music and Anand Jr. gets angry at her for turning off the music. Siddhi says he can’t listen to the music while studying. Anand Jr. says, on the contrary, he can’t concentrate on studying without listening to the music. Siddhi has flashback of Kunal listening to his bhoole bisare geet on his famous radio and thinks how much Anand Jr. is like Kunal. Anand Jr. says he will not talk to her or Abhay until Abhay apologies to him. He accuses Siddhi of instigating Abhay to scold him. He says she should be thankful of what Abhay is providing for her as she is nobody for him yet he takes care of her financially. Sulekha hears it and is stunned.

Kunal comes to Abhay’s office to return his money and says he only takes what he earns/wins and not charity. Abhay says, he was right that Kunal is not only talented but also very honest. Kunal says along with talent and honesty he also has principals but that’s not what he came there to discuss. Kunal further says that people should donate where it’s appreciated not where it’s considered an insult. Abhay says these are the qualities he wants to see in his staff and again offers him a job. Kunal again declines, but Abhay keeps insisting to take the job.

Kunal says he doesn’t like working under anyone due to his bad attitude. Abhay says, he likes Kunal’s attitude and he will not have to work under anyone, but individually that too on just one case at a time. Abhay asks Kunal he is now ready to accept his offer?

On the other side Siddhi is packing and getting ready to leave. Sulekha tries to convince her to stay back. She says Anand Jr. was right and she can’t live off of Abhay’s charity. Sulekha tells her to work in Abhay Company as a lawyer as she is the second best lawyer after Kunal.

Back at Abhay’s office, he tells Kunal that he won’t have fixed days or hours of working and also he will only report to the legal head of the company. Sulekha tells Siddhi that Abhay might make her the head of his legal dept. Kunal asks Abhay where does he need to sign? Siddhi also agrees to work at Abhay’s firm. Abhay congratulates Kunal on his new job and Sulekha does the same to Siddhi. Anand Jr. tells Siddhi why hasn’t she left yet? Siddhi tells him about her job at Abhay’s firm and tells Anand to be a good son to Abhay.

As Kunal is leaving, he thinks to himself where has he heard Abhay’s name and remembers the jewelry shop owner had told him about Abhay paying 25K for his medal. Kunal goes back to Abhay’s office and Abhay asks him if he had forgotten to add any clauses in his contract? Kunal says he hasn’t forgotten anything and asks Abhay if he is the one who bought his medal? Abhay says they must have some kind of connection that they keep meeting each-other at various places. Abhay says may be like his destiny, may be his future is also connected with him. Kunal says he is not sure about the future, but his past is certainly connected with him as he still has his gold medal.

Abhay says Kunal and him have one more thing in common that they both have lost their wives. Kunal tells Abhay to never ask him any personal question after today. Abhay agrees that they should keep their personal and professional life separate and apologies to Kunal. Abhay says he will return Kunal’s medal tomorrow. Kunal tells Abhay not to worry as he will take back his medal only after repaying his money with interest. They both agree upon the loan being deducted from kunal’s salary and Kunal leaves.

Back at Chopra House, Veena is having severe back pain and Kunal brings back belt for her back. Veena asks if he bought her a new belt? Kunal says yes and all ask him where did he get the money to buy the belt? Kunal tells not to worry about the money, but Raj says they won’t accept his belt as they don’t want to encourage his gambling habits. Kunal then tells them that he has got a new job and that too in a very big company. He says today he has bought the belt for his mother and tomorrow he will have enough money to get her back surgery done. All are happy except Gaurav. Raj asks Kunal if he is joking or he really got a job? Gaurav says it must only be a joke as Kunal is too arrogant to ask anyone for a job. Then he tells Kunal not to give Veena high hopes of her back surgery.

As all are talking, Anand Sr. sees Kunal’s appointment letter and tells everyone that Kunal really has been offered legal advisor’s position at Diwan firm. All are shocked and look at his appointment letter. Veena tells Seema to bring out sweets to celebrate such great news. Kunal says Gaurav is right, only some crazy person can offer a job to a crazy person like him, but he is happy to know that there is someone crazier than him in this world. Kunal says now his company will either go down the hill or he will make it become the No.1 Company.

Back at Diwan house, Sulekha asks Abhay to give Siddhi legal head position in his company and Abhay agrees. Sulekha wonders If Abhay only has friendly feelings for Siddhi or something more than that.
