Parichay 4th September 2012 Written Update

Scene 1:
Location:On the road
A disheartened kunal remebers her encounter with siddhi and when she walkes on the stage and wonders if it is a coincidence that siddhi is here and was talking to anand earlier and starts doubting her intentions.

Scene 2:
Location:Sulekhaji’s place
Abhay is worried about siddhi when he sees her walking in.They both talk to each other with Abhay keeping anand and siddhi keeping kunal in mind as is she is a trance.He remembers her encounter with him and seeing richa with him,she resigns herself to thinking that finally kunal ahs moved on and his separation from her and richa now being in her life has brought the difference.She thinks that the situation is irreparable and leaves.An angry abhay vents out his anger on anand scolding him for the first time in his life,for having treated his mother like that and for having taken undue advantage of his pampering.he reprimands him to now follow wahtever he says.Anand leaves being sad.Sulekhaji is watching from a distance.

Scene 3:
Location: In the hotel
Kunal walks back in the hotel and tries to enquire more about siddhi but on getting a negative response from the person,he tries to enquire about the person siddhi came with and who organised the show,but he’s told that the staff he’s talking to is new and he doesnt know much.Just then,the manager comes up and tells him that the person who he had offered legal advice,who owns the hotel while bartending has offered him a job and wants to meet kunal.But in his bad mood,kunal turns down the offer and sends him off.

Scene 4:
Location:Chopra house
Everyone is disturbed after seeing siddhi.They begin to wonder that it was actually siddhi who they saw at their individual places,like veena at anand’s b’day party,seems on the phone and kunal’s father in th market.But they are boggled as to why didnt he try to meet up with them after being released.veena fumes in anger that she must have expected them to get worse but seeing their condition well,she had no face to come meet them.Kunal walks in saying that they need to forget about siddhi and that they knew she would be out sometime and then they would have to face her.Now that they have seen her they should stop discussing about her and move on as she has seemed to.Veena still grumbles about her and is about to get up when she gets a severe pain in her back and lies down.everybody scurries around trying to ease her pain.Kunal and gaurav have a petty fight about not getting a belt for veena due to shortage of money.Veena interrupts them and tells them to stop fighting.

Scene 5:
Location:Sulekhaji’s house
siddhi is crying in bed remembering about their encounter.When abhay knocks on her door,she pretends to be asleep so he does not disturb her and closes it agin.Outside he is confronted by his mon as to whats wrong.Despite his protests sulekha says that since she is his mother,she knows when he is sad or happy.Also that he has been behaving differently ever since siddhi returneed and that this is th first time she saw him scolding anand and anand in tears.Abhay confesses that now he realises that bringing up anand has been incomplete so far,as it has only been his pampering as a father,but now he realises that alongwith that,he needs a mother who will put the reigns on him and try to keep him in control.Saying this,he walks off.Sulekha is wondering that whatever he has wished for,she hopes it comes true and anand realises his mistake.

Scene 6:
Location:Chopra house
The doctor after inspecting veena reprimands tha family that due to their negligence and resorting to old fashioned and ayurvedic methods,they have supressed the pain,but alleviated the problem in her back and to be alright,she has to now undergo an operation in the next week itself otherwise it can be dangerous.Everybody especially kunal is stunned hearing this.

Scene 7:
Location: Sulekhaji’s place
Abhay and siddhi are trying to cheer anand up with his favourit food at the breakfast table.Just then,the manager walks in saying that the man has rejected his offer of a job,but he pursued him till his home nevertheless and found the address.They start seeing the address but siddhi then turns towards anand who leaves the breakfast table and is unable to see kunal’s name with his address. He also tells abahy that he was once a famous lawyer and after his wife left he stopped practising.Abhay sees the similarities between him and that man and is all the more determined to meet him now.The screen freezes on his face.
