Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 3rd September 2012 Written Update

RN makes AshNi sit together and goes to get something to eat. There is a tensed silence between them. RN gets the food and pretends to have an urgent call. He leaves them to eat alone. While eating, Ashu chokes on a bite and Nidhi gives him water. RN is happy to see the plan working even though the two are still a little cold to each other. Then, Nidhi gets some spice in her eyes and despite himself, Ashu goes to help her and cleans her eyes. This elates RN as he sees the ice breaking. Just then, a Sister goes to Ashu to inform him about Mallika’s discharge. RN tries to stop her but is too late and Nidhi’s animosity to Ashu returns.

Ashu goes to meet Mallika in her room. She thanks him and also says goodbye. She feels their relationship needs a closure. Ashu is hurt ‘coz he thought their friendship was above all this. Mallika says frankly that the friendship was only from his side, not hers and because of this there also has been a blow to his relationship with Nidhi. Mallika informs him that this might be their last meeting since she is going to Australia with Aditya forever. She also wants to amend his relationship with Nidhi before going and break all ties with him. She advises him to take better care of Nidhi’s needs and be patient with her since she is young. She needs his trust and encouragement. With this, she leaves and Ashu is upset.

RN calls up Anji and tells her about the failure of the plan. Anji decides to come to the hospital and try and talk to Nidhi.

Mallika goes to Nidhi to say thank you and goodbye to her as well. Nidhi is reluctant but lets her talk. Mallika apologises to Nidhi and wants to give her something which will help her understand Ashu better. Nidhi says she doesn’t need lessons from her or anyone else. Mallika still begs her to listen to her as an older sister. Nidhi rolls her eyes but allows her to continue. Mallika talks about how she is responsible for the bitterness in AshNi’s relationship but she had asked Ashu to not meet her. Nidhi tells Mallika that she is not the reason for this bitterness in their relationship. Mallika tells Nidhi that Ashu often cannot express what he feels and expects the others to understand him; she needs to go beyond herself and maybe even apologise to Ashu to make this better. A sorry can improve a lot of things but people often prefer relationships falling apart than apologising. She also assures Nidhi that she will never come in between her and Ashu again since she is going to Australia forever. She gives Nidhi a parting hug and in tears, she apologises to her again and leaves. Nidhi is left thoughtful and pensive.

Anji enters RN’s cabin. She is upset and RN comforts her assuring that they will try again. He tells her that Mallika has been discharged and has also tried talking to AshNi. She will also never come in between AshNi again. Anji is delighted and hugs RN. Then goes to meet Nidhi.

Nidhi apologises to Anji about the morning. They talk about how Mallika has gotten discharged and has gone forever. Anji feels that now AshNi can come together again. Nidhi says it is not about Mallika, it is about how Ashu never listens to her and is rude to her; she doesn’t want to live with Ashu if he cannot take care of her needs. The problem lies with Ashu’s behaviour, not Mallika.
Anji tells DB about the failure of the plan because of AshNi’s stubbornness. This upsets DB since all their plans are backfiring. Yuvraj tries to console her and is determined to do something. CS gives a bunch of ridiculous ideas which leads to an argument between himself and DB.

Ashu and RN are talking when Nidhi comes to them. Ashu looks at her expectantly but she just informs RN that she is done for the day and leaves saying goodbye to only RN.
On her way home, Nidhi witnesses some people open firing on a man. Eventually, he gets shot and the people run away. Nidhi and the rest of the crowd rush to the victim who is losing his senses.
