Hitler Didi 30th August 2012 Written Update

At the hospital corridor
Doctor 1: (comes rushing to doctor 2 ) the baby’s condition is not very good and the heartbeat has gone low
Rishi: ( anxiously approaches doctor1) what kind of a doctor are you? why don’t you do something?
Munna: (pulling Rishi away from him) they are doing their duty. (to doctor1) sorry for this.(Doctor1 and doctor 2 rush inside Indira’s ward.) have faith in god. Everything will be all right (consoling Rishi).

At Sharma Nivas the Kutumb, Indar and Cheda continue with their prayers and chanting to God seeking Indira’s and the baby’s good health and survival.

At the hospital
Doctor 2: (to a nurse) go and bring the senior doctor as the baby’s health is deteriorating. Please hurry up.
At the corridor Rishi goes stock-still. Munna tries to gather information from the nurse. Meanwhile, Rishi recollects Indira’s footage where she pleads Rishi to save their child.
Dr. Kashyap and Doctor 2 are discussing in grave manner at the corridor. Rishi and Munna come near them in uneasiness.
Rishi: (interrupting) excuse me, what is the status of the baby’s health?
In response, both the doctors continue with their discussion and later Shwetha interrupts them and immediately calls them to Indira’s ward.
Rishi’s uneasiness intensifies but Munna consoles him and tells him to calm down.

Dr. Kashyap: (approaching Rishi with a distressed look) I am sorry Rishi, the baby’ heartbeat is almost nil and in this condition the baby will not survive in mother’s uterus for longer time. (Rishi and Munna are speechless) Also, Indira is gone in coma. It is very impossible to save the baby in this condition. (Rishi totters and hold the wall for support. Munna puts his arm around him).
Rishi: (gathering strength and weeps) No it is not possible. You are a doctor and a god. Please do something. There has to be some way to save the baby. (Desperately to Dr. Kashyap with tearful eyes) Please find a way to save the baby.
Dr. Kashyap: there is only one option. (Rishi and Munna look at him keenly).
Rishi: (stutters) yes, tell me doctor
Dr. Kashyap: Embryo transplant.
Rishi: (baffled, exchanges looks with Munna) can you please explain it in simple terms?
Dr. Kashyap: well, We need to remove the embryo from Indira and transfer it to another’s woman womb. The development of baby will take place there. (rishi willingly agrees to it) but, now the problem is We need a woman, within this short time, who is capable of carrying the embryo in her uterus and nurture it to its full term. (Munna mumbles in confusion. Rishi is baffled.) Do you know any woman who can take up this task?
Rishi: (snivels) until now, I have not done anything to save her and I am not able to save my child. (cries hopelessly) but if I was a woman then I would have nurtured my baby but…(to Munna) now who will be able to do this and who is ready for this thing?
Shwetha: (comes to them) I am ready for the transplant. (Rishi and Munna regard her keenly).
Dr. Kashyap: (surprised) Dr Shwetha?
Shwetha: (coming to him meekly) I am willing to nurture Indira’s and Ricki’s baby in my uterus. (Rishi is surprised and Munna is pleased)
Rishi: one second Shwetha (grabs her hand and takes her to an empty room) Shwetha (puts his hand on her still baffled) are you willing to do this? Can you help me? Will you surely give birth to my baby Shwetha?
Shwetha: (assuring him) yes, I will do it? Yes, I did commit a mistake and want to amend this and this is the only way.
Rishi: (withdraw from her all of sudden to her surprise.) I had so much faith in you but you broke that faith. (Fumes at her) If you have informed me about Shrimatiji pregnancy at the right time then I would have been able to save both of them. All this is happening because of you. Now, do not create any misunderstanding. Do you think I will marry you after this? Never. Now see Shwetha (impassively) if you really want to make amendments then you need to sign a contract.
Shwetha: (surprised) contract?
Rishi: (impassively) yes, after you give birth to this baby then you will have no right over this baby. For me, you are just renting your womb to nurture my baby. That’s it and nothing beyond this? (Shwetha is baffled) will you do this? (Puts his hands one her hands) will you really save my baby. I will do any favour to you but please save my baby. (Beseeches her snivelling) and I will not ask anything more. I had to go through this marriage, as it was a mutual understanding, just to cheer up Shrimatiji and nothing else. (Departs from the room leaving Shwetha weeping in despair).

Later, Swetha is been transferred in the bed trolley at the corridor and passes by grim faces of Rishi, Mandira, Pappu and Munna. Rishi’s face blossom into a smile and he get up from the chair. Swetha looks at him and smiles affectionately. Shwetha smiles fades when Rishi moves past her to reach Indira, in coma state, who is been transferred in bed trolley just behind Swetha. Rishi comes to sit near Indira and fondles her as Mandira, Pappu and Munna approach Shwetha. Shwetha goes sad as Rishi kisses Indira’s forehead.)
Munna: (to Shwetha) what you are doing is not a small thing? In fact, we regard you with great consideration.
Mandira: (agrees to Munna, to Swetha) you are a very nice girl and due to people like you humanity is flourishing in this world.
Dr. Kashyap: (approaches Rishi wearing a surgical costume) Rishi, this embryo transplant surgery took place for the first time in US and this is the first of its kind to happen in India and is a very complicated case. But I am confident that the operation will be successful and your baby will easily adapt itself to the second uterus. (Rishi regards Indira with a imploring face and Shwetha watches them both) Also, there is a master who is trained to fight over in this odd situation. (Laughs and makes Rishi laugh. Orders the nurses) take them to the operation theatre. (Shwetha and Indira are been taken into the operation theatre)
While the surgery is taking place, Rishi, Munna, Mandira, and Pappu wait apprehensively outside. Rishi is pacing too and forth in restlessness. Mandira and Munna follow suit. Finally, Dr. Kashyap approaches Rishi and informs them that the transplant has been successful. There are cheers and joys among them.
Rishi: (to Dr. Kashyap) how is Shrimatiji?
Dr. Kashyap : I am sorry to say that she is still in coma (his words leaves everyone in despair).
Indira is been wheeled out.
Rishi: (goes to fondles her lovingly) Shrimatiji, I have fulfilled your wish and have saved our baby. Now you have to fulfil my promise.

The next day, Mandira is affectionately feeding Shwetha some warm soup in her ward.
Shwetha: (stops her) now enough. I am full already.
Mandira: (sternly) Shwetha, You need to take care of yourself in this state. Now finish this soup. (Goes to feed her but to see Shwetha is looking at someone behind her and spots Rishi) Oh Rishi, you are here. Ok you can be with Shwetha for some time and I will come back. (Goes out)
Rishi approaches her submissively.
Swetha: Ricki (turns to pick up a file and show a picture of embryo) see the picture of your baby. (Rishi is excited and looks at it keenly) now there are no complications and it is also healthy.(Rishi smiles over the picture) it is illegal to disclose the gender of the baby. All I can say it could be Cheeku or antara. (Smiles at him)
Rishi: (submissively lowering his head) Shwetha I don’t know how to thank you.
Shwetha: (smiles at him) take the rose from there (pointing to a flower decoration on a desk. Rishi hesitantly picks up a rose from the decoration) now offer me the rose and tell thank you. That’s it, simple.
Rishi: (gives her an impassive smile and reluctantly offers the rose to her and she takes it with pleasure) thanks. Swetha, (goes aloof) I have something else to give you now.
Swetha: (smiles adoringly) another gift?
Rishi: (pulls out a document from the file) contract (offers it to her. She gives him a baffled look and he places the document on the bed) in this contract, there will be no relationship between you and the baby after you give birth to it. Please read it and sign this.

Swetha instantly signs the document and Rishi thanks her in an aloof manner. After he leaves the room, she takes the rose and kisses it tenderly. Kutumb entering the room happens to see this. Swetha beckons her to her side. Kutumb takes her seat next to Shwetha’s bed giving her a hesitant smile.
Kutumb: (fondles her) I hope God keeps you safe and fine. For me, you are like God. (Shwetha goes sad) well now, tell me when will you get leave from your duty?
Swetha: (smiles) 2-3 months after my discharge. But I am thinking of being here as there is no one to care for me in hostel.
Kutumb: (surprised) oh my god. What is the hell? Why do you need to go to hostel when we are all here? Now, you are coming to my house with all your belongings
Swetha: (fumbles) no, I cannot go…
Kutumb: (sternly) just shut up.(fondles her) you are just like my daughter. Indira’s baby is growing inside you. At least I can do this much for you. If not, you can call me selfish. Please come home dear. (Sits down) you have done a big sacrifice to save this baby of Indira. You are great. Now tell me why are you doing all this?
Shwetha: (reluctantly) I am a doctor and hence it is my duty to save my patient.
Kutumb: (thoughtfully picking up the rose) you know when a flower is separated from its garden, its misses the love of the owner and will blossom on its own to succumb later on.
Shwetha: (frowns) what do you mean?
Kutumb: I know that you love Rishi. That is why you are doing all this. (Shwetha is dismayed) now, see you have taken a big decision without much consideration and now you are going to succumb without Rishi’s love.
Shwetha: (smiles) no, this will not happen.
Kutumb: all right, you are doing so much to achieve love from Rishi. But you will be hurt in the end. I will respect you for that. Now, do not have any hopes on Rishi as he floods all his love only for Indira and will not think of anyone else.

Precap: Dr Kashyap: (to Rishi) we have done our level best since these 3 months but she is not responding. Now, you take her back to the house where there will be hope that she may come out of coma due to familiarity of the place.
Indira is been taken into Sharma Nivas. Munna and Rishi talk to Indira and entice her but find no response from her.
