Ashu admits he misses Nidhi. He picks his phone and sees Nidhi’s missed call under the watchful eyes of Heeramal Kaka and Baba.
Meanwhile, Nidhi also gets ready and checks her phone to see Ashu’s missed called. This elates her much to Yuvraj’s and DB’s delight. She then gets a call from Ashu but it ends badly as Ashu says it was wrong number. Nidhi is hurt and the elders are disappointed with the failure of their plan.
At Kotnis, Ashu and Nidhi bump into each other but don’t talk.
Anji visits Nidhi in the hospital and is upset because Nidhi didn’t call Anji in the morning as promised. They get into an argument because Nidhi refuses to tell Anji anything. As Anji is leaving, she gets a call from DB and they discuss Nidhi’s condition. DB asks Anji to create situations wherein AshNi have to stay with each other and Anji promises to do something.
She goes to RN’s cabin and tells him about AshNi. RN joins in to form a plan which will make AshNi work together. Anji happily hugs RN and a sister walks in and sees them in that condition and RN tries to cover up by pretending to treat Anji. When the sister leaves, RN says ey will have to make sure that Nidhi will assist Ashu in an operation. They are once again caught romancing by the nurse and have to get back to their act.
Dr. Priyanka asks Ashu for a holiday since her mother-in-law is ill and hence cannot assist Ashu in the operation. This is actually a plan by RN who has given her this day off. Then, he himself goes inside and says that Dr. Jyoti wants a holiday too. And indeed, Jyoti walks in and says that ladke waale have come to see her. A fed up Ashu grants Jyoti the holiday too and RN immediately suggests Nidhi for the assitant. Ashu has no choice but to agree.
RN informs Nidhi that she will be assisting Ashu in the operation.
AshNi meet in the changing room for the operation but once again ignore each other with ‘Ya Rabba’ playing in the BG. Nidhi helps Ashu with his surgical suit and he thanks her. They talk very formally. Nidhi also gets stuck with her mangalsutra and Ashu helps her take it off.
Anji tells DB and Yuvraj that AshNi will have to be together for 3-4 hours since they’re scheduled for the same operation. DB is happy hearing this and Anji is confident everything will be fine.
Back in the hospital, AshNi are still getting ready for the operation. Once done, they proceed towards the OT without another word.
In the surgery, Ashu and Nidhi feel their emotions overpowering but behave professionally. Nidhi gets a little distracted and is scolded by Ashu. Nidhi also acts cold towards him.
After the surgery, AshNi indulge in an argument witnessed by the entire hospital. RN comes and blasts them all to get to work. Then, he comes to AshNi and begs them to not wash their dirty linen in public since it will upset the staff as well as themselves. Ashu agrees to this.
