Saas Bina Sasural 13th August 2012 Written Update

~Tej comes out and says that he wants to go to the ashram that Toasty was at and Dadaji asks him what he will get out of doing so. Tej says he wants to ask them with what right they did Toasty’s last rites and how they could steal his rights away from him and that Toasty’s family isn’t dead. He says I will take them to court and shut down their ashram for stealing my right. Dadaji says will that bring Toasty back? It’s not the ashram people’s fault…your anger is from Toasty leaving. Tej says how could she leave just like that..she didn’t even look back and think what would happen to us..she didn’t think that I would die while living. He breaks down. (Mera jaanuuu God, Ravi is just amazing yaar…too realistic..it’s making me sob with him seriously <3) ~Sudha is shown talking to Toasty on the phone (Aish's voice is back!! <3 I miss her and hope her health is doing better <3) Toasty is saying that everyone will obviously be sad but they can't be sad their whole life..Sudha explains that for someone they love so much to leave them forever suddenly is a very hard thing to accept...Toasty asks if she gave them her letter yet and Sudha says she forgot and will give it today. They hang up the phone and Lalit is watching Sudha and asks do I know you? Are you the same Sudha who I married and used to tense over little things and get panic attacks? Sudha says people can do anything for their children's happiness and I'll do whatever I can for my daughter's happiness. She walks off saying she has work to do and Lalit looks at Tej-Toasty's wedding picture sadly. ~Everyone is sitting sadly in the hall and Shobha talks about how they must do Toasty's chautha ceremony for her soul's peace and explains everything that needs to be done. Dadaji says they never did that for Vimla...they didn't know that they had to do in such a way. Shobha says but I'm telling now na so we should do it for Toasty's peace. Tej says we'll do everything for Toasty's peace. Sudha walks in with Lalit and Dimple and she is all smiley and happy and asks them how are they doing. Everyone looks at her confused and they tell her that they are planning for Toasty's chautha and Sudha asks will everything be done by the evening as she has made plans and they should all go for a movie and dinner. Shobha says looks like Toasty's death has caused her to go into shock. Pashu asks Lalit if he took Sudha to the doctor and Sudha says I am completely fine. Shoba says your daughter just died and you want to have fun by doing all this and Sudha says I don't want to..toasty wants us to. She says that Toasty didn't want them all to be sad and wanted everyone to celebrate her death just the way they would celebrate her birthday and to celebrate that she is out of her pain. She gives Tej Toasty's letter which says (Yay for Aish's voice again!! <3) that she wants everyone to remain happy so she can be happy and that she has pre-booked movie tickets and reserved a table at a restaurant for them and to always laugh and smile. Shobha doesn't agree but Smiley says why do we do chautha? For soul's peace right? So why not do this for Toasty's happiness? Tej is thoughtful and looks at Toasty's letter and smiles a little, then laughs...everyone looks at him like he's lost it and Shobha says look, now he's lost his mental stability. Tej says no I haven't but I understood that we shouldn't be sad anymore and we should be happy so that Toasty can be happy...he says if it will make Toasty happy then I will definitely go for the film. Everyone agrees to go as well...Malti says she would have gone for Toasty if she could, while holding her stomach and Pashu says someone has to stay with Dadaji and Malti so he will stay back home. ~Sudha is cleaning up at her apartment and finds an album with the Chaturvedi's pics in it...Lalit comes and she tells him, Toasty's family is so nice..they care about her so much even after she is gone. Lalit says at least now you realize that otherwise you always used to complain about them. Sudha remembers some of her complaints and then says yeah, now I see that Toasty was right all along and that her family really loves her a lot. She tells Lalit that she told Toasty that everyone agreed for the movie and restaurant and Lalit asks if she said anything else and Sudha says no...my bachi was happy just hearing this. ~Tej is trying to decide what shirt to wear and picks a blue one as blue is Toasty's favorite color. In the other room, Gyaan and Prachin are both wearing black and Gyaan asks Prachin to change as he wore black first..Prachin says he won't change because Toasty always used to say that he looked very handsome when he wore black. Tej calls them to go. ~At the dining table, Shobha tells everyone that she misses Toasty and now she has come to realize her worth and how much she has done for the family...and that Toasty's face always comes before her eyes. Dadaji gets sad and leaves the dining table to go back to his room. ~The rest of the family comes back then and say that they had a nice time and Nitika says thanks to Toasty. Pashu tells Prachin to drop Dimple off but they both stop when Tej says I was thinking...Toasty has done this so that we can be happy and she can be happy but why don't we ourselves do something to show her that we truly are happy. Everyone agrees and Smiley says let's do something that Toasty liked to do. Everyone wonders what they can do. Dadaji comes out and says antakshari..Toasty loved to play antakshari. ~Everyone sits down to play antakshari but they all are still very depressed and sing half-heartedly...Malti starts by singing maine kahaa phoolon se...then Nitika sings ek main aur ek tu...then Dadaji sings thoda hai thodi ki zaroorat hai...Tej then sadly starts singing "Hume tumse pyaar kitna, yeh hum nahin jaante..magar jee nahin sakte tumhaare bina" (Ravi was too good in this scene...that shaking and broken voice did it for me such natural acting! <3) while singing the verse, he breaks off and is unable to sing anymore...he then starts breaking down and sobbing...Nitika goes to him and Pashu stands up and tells him not to cry...Tej says I can't do it... and Malti says we have to stay happy so that Toasty can be happy. Tej says Toasty, I can't do it. He continues sobbing into his hand and Tejy's heart breaks watching her beloved Tej cry like this
