Brief Update:
Adi first resists getting engaged to Latika. Avantika emotionally blackmails him and he agrees.

Adi-Nana have the conversation that was shown in the precap and at the end of it, Adi walks away. Nana is heartbroken and thinks to himself that even Adi is taking decisions that are practical now and not from the heart.

Pankhuri was shown talking to Neha. And Neha’s father-in-law mentions that they will look for a guy for Pankhuri who is mentally and physically fit. Neha’s father is confused.

Dada Ji decides that Pankhuri will go to Mumbai for her internship.

Harish visits Avantika and a huge scene takes place at the Deewan house. Nana is snapped at by Avantika and she tells him to stay out of this because Adi is her son. She walks away saying that the engagement will take place in 2 days, and whoever wants to come is more than welcome to come.

Nana is YET again heartbroken and tells Harish that he feels like a burden on the family now.

On the other hand, Avantika locks her door and cries thinking back on her words. She says to herself “I’m sorry, Dad.”

Detailed Update:
The episode begins with Harish telling Adi that Nana Ji was upset about how Adi’s engagement couldn’t take place and covers up for their talk previously. Adi tells Nana to get well soon, and not to worry about such trivial things. Nana Ji looks pleased. Harish goes outside to meet Avantika and tells her that Papa is calling you. Avantika gets angry at him and asks him sarcastically, why did he call Harish first? Harish says that he wanted me to sign some property papers and walks off smiling to himself. Adi’s Mami overhears this and tells her husband that they won’t ever get anything if they don’t deal with Preeti and Avantika the right way, she walks upto Preeti and starts telling her how it’s Avantika’s fault that this happened to Papa. Preeti gives her a nasty stare to which she shuts up.

Pankhuri gets out of the car at the hostel and she is welcomed by Mrs.Mittal, who tells her that her the whereabouts of the hostel and her room. Pankhuri thinks to herself that she should call Nana Ji and thank him for doing so much for her. She calls on Nana Ji’s phone but he is asleep and Avantika is about to answer but she doesn’t because Pankhuri hangs up thinking that Nana Ji must be busy in preparations of Adi’s engagement.

Adi is shown walking down the hall and he sees the small mandir, he thinks back on Pankhuri’s word that how if she has a problem in her life that she can’t come up with a solution for, then she prays infront of the God and everything gets sorted out, Adi starts praying in front of the God that may his Nana get well soon. Just then Latika walks by and she huffs about how their engagement couldn’t happen. Adi tells her to stop worrying about the engagement and that his Nana is in the hospital. Latika looks taken aback and tells him that she hopes he gets well soon too but that Adi must be feeling bad about it too. Adi tells her that it’s not her fault that she doesn’t think that the elderly are important and that he didn’t either until Pankhuri told him. Latika starts yelling at him and tells him that she doesn’t care who Pankhuri is and what she said. Adi just looks at her. This entire exchanged is seen by Harish.

Harish tells Nana Ji about this entire scene and Nana Ji says that he is now sure that Adi still thinks about Pankhuri and that even if he suffers a real heart-attack, he won’t have a problem. Nana Ji asks Harish whether he has met Pankhuri yet and has she been settled in. Harish calms him down and says that it will take a few days for her to settle in but she will. Avantika walks in and hears the end of their conversation. Harish covers up and says that there was an actress who needed a place to stay, so she will be staying at the hostel for time being. Avantika tells him that he needs to stop worrying Papa while he is at the hospital. Harish just walks out.

Avantika and Latika’s parents are meeting each other. Latika’s mother tells Avantika to take care to which Avantika apologizes and says that she will talk to Pandit Ji again and get a new Muhurrat fixed for Adi and Latika’s engagement. Everyone is surprised Avantika mentions this while they are at the hospital. Adi then tells Avantika that they can talk about this once Nana Ji is back home and they don’t need to discuss this right now at the hospital. Latika’s parents agree with Adi and leave. Preeti starts yelling at Avantika blaming her for whatever has happened because Avantika tends to control everyone’s life. Adi takes her away after a ward-boy comes and tells them to quiet down as it’s a hospital. Adi’s Mami tells Avantika that she needs to get Adi engaged soon as there are a lot of people that will try to break this new relationship. Avantika just looks on.

Govardhan Mama is leaving Pankhuri but gives her money and tells her to not leave the hostel unless she absolutely has to. He then meets Pankhuri and leaves. Pankhuri looks sad.

Adi is sitting with Nana Ji and tells him that he needs to get well soon, so they can have a Badminton match again. Nana Ji tells him that now he has a feeling that nothing will go wrong.

Pankhuri is shown doing lighting a diya and prays that everything goes well for her.

Scene changes and shows that Harish is looking for Avantika, he goes and sits with her because she looks upset. Harish calls Avantika “Avantoo” and she corrects him and says that she is Avantika Deewan. Harish says she is Avantika but not Deewan. Harish comforts her and says that Papa is out of danger and she doesn’t have to worry about him anymore. Avantika is resistant at first but then asks Harish whether he feels that she is to be blamed too? Harish says that if he felt that way then he wouldn’t have been sitting here with her. Harish then gives her coffee and Adi is shown walking by and stops to see his parents sitting together. He walks away happily thinking about what Pankhuri said that he could bring his parents together. Adi thinks to himself that if Pankhuri would have been here, she would have been happy with this change in Harish-Avantika’s relationship. He calls Pankhuri but her number is not reachable. On the other hand, Pankhuri tells herself that she finally has a new sim and that she should save numbers. Adi is trying to call Pankhuri but her number is not reachable again. Pyaar Ka Dard Hai’s soundtrack plays in the background and the screen shows how Pankhuri is happy and Adi is wondering why Pankhuri’s phone is not reachable.

It’s the morning, Adi, Harish and Nana Ji are walking in his room. Adi helps him in bed and tells him to take care of himself now. Nana Ji says that he is fine now and that if he wants to play Badminton, they can play that right now. Adi gets upset and tells him to take proper rest and not talk about games or anything until he is perfectly fine. Adi then tells him that he always wins against Nana Ji. Adi disagrees and says that he has only once and that was by fluke. Nana Ji says that he had lost once and then he had to go to Manali. Adi disagrees and walks away. Harish says that he had lost last time and had to go to Manali where he met Pankhuri who was a very nice girl loudly for Adi to hear. Adi turns around and looks at a smiling Nana Ji and Harish. The episode ends on Adi’s face.

Precap: Pankhuri is sitting at a table and Adi sees her and walks upto her and says “Pankhuri? Tum yahaan?”
