Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 6th August 2012 Written Update

Sister sees Ashu roaming around and asks him the matter. He tells her to tell Nidhi to not wait for him and go home. He’ll message her where to meet him. Ashu thinks he has to do something since this is about his dignity

In his cabin, Ashu asks someone to get his tab from his car. Meanwhile, he picks up a bunch of red roses and wonders how he can get more romantic then Nidhi. A wardboy gets his tab and he searches for ideas but they’re all pretty cliched and cheesy.

The sister comes to Nidhi in her cabin and gives her Ashu’s message. Nidhi asks about Ashu’s condition and the sister says he looked worried. She wonders what challenge Nidhi gave to him. Nidhi says it’s nothing too tough, just that he has to listen to his heart rather than his brain for a change. When the sister leaves, Nidhi has a eager expression on her face and goes out of her cabin.

Back in Ashu’s cabin, he decides to call Anji and take her help. Anji is about to leave for her honeymoon and teases Ashu a bit but finally helps him a but by saying that for a wife, the best thing is when her husband treats her like she is his most prized possession. With this, Anji has to go as she is getting late and Ashu is left wondering how to implement Anji’s idea

Baba is surprised to see Nidhi return home alone and she tells him about the challenge. Baba says no wonder Ashu was preparing like he is giving some MBBS exam. Nidhi is happy to hear that Ashu has been working hard for her sake and asks Baba is he helped him. Baba says he can’t even if he wants to since this is about romance. According to Nidhi, Baba seems the romantic type but maybe not Ashu. She excitedly wonders how a surgeon will express his love

In her room, Nidhi receives a call from Ashu. He tells her that he is eagerly waiting for her at the highest point on the mountain and the rest she has to come and find out. Nidhi is superexcited but makes sure that she sounds composed on the phone to Ashu.

At the Vermas, DB is cursing someone for not keeping the wool in place. Yuvraj says that Ashu’s birthday will end in a while and the sweater will take months to knit. DB tells him that she is still his Bua so he better not pull her leg. She is knitting a sweater for Ashu’s child after many years. This makes Yuvraj a bit serious as he knows that Nidhi won’t like becoming a mother yet. DB says that it is high time Ashu becomes a father but and she trusts him to convince Nidhi of this. With that, she takes the wool to go and knit in her room.

Nidhi reaches the place Ashu had told her and starts looking for him. She happily admires how beautifully it is decorated but cannot find Ashu. Suddenly, she hears someone playing ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’ on the violin.

Once it stops, Ashu comes in front of her and she hugs him. He kisses her forehead and she closes her eyes reminiscing the moment. But she opens when she hears someone playing ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ on the piano and it is none other than Ashu. She is very happy and goes near the piano admiring Ashu playing. Once done, Ashu asks her for dance. She asks how they can dance without music and he asks her to listen to the voice of her heart. He plays some tune in the air and ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ starts playing in the BG again as AshNi dance to the tunes.

Suddenly, Ashu starts singing and it starts raining too and they share some cosy moments.

Later, Ashu pours both of them some champagne and asks Nidhi whether he passes or not. Nidhi says is is always ‘pass’ to her and so ‘pass’ that there is no space left to even breatheAfter some romantic talks, Nidhi finally admits that the surprise was better than she expected.

Nidhi breaks the moment by talking about Ashu’s piano skills. Ashu tells her that he had started learning music on the piano but since Baba liked the violin so he switched over. Impressed, Nidhi tells him he can ask for anything he wants as his gift. Ashu says she knows what he wants but he doesn’t want to impose his wishes on her and bind her unnecessarily. This makes Nidhi a bit pensive. But for now, he asks her for a promise that he wants to start and end his day with her i.e. see her first thing in the morning and last before going to bed. This touches Nidhi but can’t cheer her up.

Precap: Shyama tells Nidhi that for Ashu, a child doesn’t just mean being a father but a way to rediscover his lost family.
In his cabin, Ashu asks Nidhi how Shyama is doing. Nidhi says she’s fine and Ashu tells her that it’s a good thing she went to meet her.
Throughout both the scenes, Nidhi seems lost, confused and grave.
