Afsar Bitiya 3rd August 2012 Written Update

Part One

Nirmal is smiling at Krishna’s shock on seeing Pinky. Pinky asks Krishna – “Why are you looking at me like that – I have cleared all the useless enquiries. Didn’t my Dad tell you? Papa!” Bihari says there was no time as Vidyaji had just passed away and he was sad ( was he? ) so he did not feel like telling.
Krishna congratulates Pinky. Bihari says “See I have brought a box of sweets”. and Pinky wants to give sweets to Krishna. Dihati looks on. Krishna says she will eat later. Pinky asks Why? Aren’t you happy at my becoming BDO? You must have at least one or two laddoos. Then she tells her “you must introduce me to your staff and show me your office”. Krishna says “this is Chowbeyji, Mithileshji, and Jijaji you already know – Saritaji and this is our peon Shyamlal. They all are helpful and do their role well. Come I’ll take you to your cabin”.

Bihari and Dihati are excited at the cabin and Pinky is ecstatic… at the revolving chair. Krishna tells her it is not only a chair of pride but also of responsibility. Bihari asks Pinky to remember these words as the words of the earlier BDO…

Part Two

Krishna is ready to take the picture and all the staff look on as Krishna is taking the picture. She also takes a picture of Pinky alone.Bihari looks at the picture and is very proud.Krishna tells her that Chowbeyji and Mithileshji will tell you everything about the files. I have to leave now as I am getting late. Pinky asks her – “late for what? You do not have to go to office so you please explain the files well so that I dont make the same mistakes as you made.

And here come Pintuji… Bihari says that you have come at the right time. and tells him to tell TTS that Pinky is the new BDO. Pintu and Krishna share a look. Pintuji says – Mubarak ho! and then asks Krishna to come with him. He tells her that he would drop her home. Bihari, Dihati and Pinky look on as Pintu escorts her .( how sweet of him!)

At the TTS mansion, Ganga Devi asks TTS to come to eat. He says that he will not eat till his family members talk to him. Ganga says then he will fall sick. Babloo comes there and says that he is doing a drama – (nautanki) – and thats all. TTS is angry and says – “Ghajab – What did you say? I am doing drama? Dont forget that I am your Dad”. Babloo replies – “Wah Babuji Wah – you understand your pain but not ours… Because of you I lost my wife and Sonu lost his mother.What about that? ” TTS asks him to STOP. He says that Sargam was like his daughter and he is as upset with her death as Babloo. He also says that he is not responsible for her death. How many times should I say this? Babloo says “it all happened because of his habits. If Sargam had escaped Krishna would have died. I am staying in this house only to make you realise that my wife has died because of you.”

Pintu and Krishna are having tea at a joint. Pintu calls our to the bearer and asks for a napkin and pen. He starts drawing something. ( so cute… ) Krishna is wondering and asks him what he is doing? She takes the paper and sees a little drawing. Pintu says he was trying to draw a smile in this face of Madhubala – (refering to Krishna.)…you do it yourself. Krishna smiles and Pintu is happy. Krishna says – “what to do – I am unable to forget all that has happened. Pintu holds her hand and reassures her. Krishna adds that when she left office she felt that a long journey had come to an end – one which had just begun… Pintuj says dont talk like saint. It is just a small obstacle and very soon she will overcome it. she will also do well and make it big. The suspension order means that she is suspended thats all not that she is not the BDO. He adds that earlier you were the BDO and you were busy – but now you have the time which you can give to your husband so that I can be after you. Krishna smiles… Pintu says see you are smiling again. Krishna says you talk so well that even a stone will start smiling ( we all agree here…)- Pintu says I dont know about a stone but if you smile ( he picks up a rose to give to Krishna ) then I can win the world.!!!( wow!)

At the BDO office Pinky is looking at some files. Bihari asks Mithilesh to get some breakfast while she checks the file.Dihati enters and says there is ‘vaastu dosh’ in the office. Nirmal come and asks if he can enter. Bihari says “Of course you can ghar jamai – When you have already settled down well in your sasuraal why cant you come here. Please sit. Nirmal says he wants a sign in some paper. and tells them to call him if they needed anything.
Bihari says -” worry about your family as you are the only earning member there. ”

Pintu comes and drops Krishna in his bike. He asks her not to feel tensed anymore. Krishna tells that he too should listen to her two things. He says – For your smile I will listen to a 1000 things. She says firstly – you must always wear a helmet while driving and – Pintu says – “Manzoor hai” and secondly she says dont drive fast – Pintu nods. She bids good bye…( jab se hai jaana-… in the backround ) There is this beautiful exchange of glances between these two as they part. Pintu wears his helmet and leaves… – stops…and… turns and waves to Krishna and Krishna waves back… (O piya… )

Part Three

Saraswati Raj is counting the amount of money left at home. Manisha and Ravi look on. She says they have less money and will 20 rupees be enough? Ravi says ‘yes’. Krishna comes and her mother asks her if everything was alright in the office and did she handover to the new BDO? Krishna says she met the new BDO who was none other that Pinky. Her mother and Chanchal are shocked to hear Pinkys name. Ravi says it must be Bihari’s work and he must have known about all this from before.
