Afsar Bitiya 2nd August 2012 Written Update

Krishna is weeping in Pintu’s arms ( the most secure and safe place for her). She says, “One by one everything is being taken away from me. First my Dad and then you…” Pintu asks her not to be disheartened. He says,” Who told I am away from you? I am always with you. And regarding the suspension, after the enquiry is complete all will be fine and the truth will be out in the open.( doodh ka doodh aur pani ka pani ho jaayega…). Now quickly fulfil my desire for which I have come. The thing that you have hidden within you – YOUR SMILE…Please smile for me once”…Krishna smiles and both are feeling better.

At Krishna’s residence, Nirmal tells everyone that Krishna has got suspended. He says that God knows what is happening as everything seems to be going wrong.Saraswati is worried and wonders how Krishna will take it. Manisha comes and asks what happened. Ravi tells her that Krishna is suspended. She is shocked! and asks why? Saraswati Raj says that – “Krishna ko nazar lag gayi…”

Pintu and Krishna arrive then and Pintuji says namaste to Saraswati. He says that they have come there to talk about Krishna’s suspension to Nirmalji. Saraswati asks them to sit down and offers to brings water.All are seated.
Pintuji tells Nirmal that though they dont have the proof of the CD anymore, if he wishes Krishna’s innocence can be proved.

Part Two

Nirmal asks how is that possible? Pintu tells him to he can talk in front of the DC and the enquiry committee against Sikka Thakurain. Nirmal tells him that – “do you feel I am an outsider? I will do anything for Krishna as she is my saali (sister in law). I will definitely talk for her”. Pintuji thanks him. But Nirmal says there is a problem. Both of them can give the witness (that is Pintu and Nirmal) as they both were present during the recording but Krishna is aware that family members say will not be counted. So how about asking Chowbeyji to do the same…

Saraswati is against all this and she does not want to take any more chances. Pintuji tell her that Krishna’s name has to be cleared form this accusation. but she tells him clearly that she can’t take it anymore. She does not have any strength. Pintu is disheartened and leaves with a sad face…

It is late in the night and Krishna is unable to sleep. She imagines the scenes of Sargam’s death and her father death. She remembers her mother accusing TTS and how the DC had given her the suspension orders. Just then her father appears and calls out to her. She gets up and sees him. He asks her why she hasnt slept as yet? Krishna is in tears. He asks her not to cry and tears makes a person weak and he cannot see his Afsar Bitiya weak. He also adds that though he is not physically with her he will always be with her. And asks her to remember his teachings. Then he tells her to cry if she wishes to and bring out all her tears.now so that tomorrow by sunrise my daughter will wake up with renewed enthusism and confidence. He promises that whenever she is in trouble he will be there with her. The alarm then rings and Krishna is up.

Krishna is getting ready for office and putting her bindi when she thinks – that today will be the last day of getting ready to go to office. Everything will be left behind form now on. God knows why I am feeling low but I need to gather the courage and go.

At the BDO offie all are waiting for Krishna madam. They see her. Krishna smiles at them.She walks to her table and looks at her name, moves towards her chair and thinks of all the hardships she had to face to get here. She thinks of her father’s confidence in her. She opens a box to pack her stuff which includes a Saraswati idol and a family portrait. She then looks at a file. Mithilesh comes in and Krishna asks him to hand over the files to the new BDO . Chowbey says what is the use of being honest – she could have been in the wrong path and enjoyed at least. Then getting suspended made sense… Krishna stops him and says he does not have the license to speak like that as she had taught him the right way.Nirmal comes and asks if he can loads Krishna’s stuff in the car.

Part Three

The new BDO is making a grand entry with Band Baaja ..Yes it is Pinky with Dihati and Bihari in a jeep all decorated. Bihari asks everyone to dance but also make way and move forward. Krishna comes to meet her staff and She bids farewell to Saritaji and asks her to work hard and come to meet her sometime. Sarita cries and does not want Krishna to leave. She says that wrong has been done to Krishna. They all know it. They say that they will go on a strike to protest and her suspension has to be withdrawn.

Krishna pacifies them and says that they should not do anything like that but work honeslty and well. Even in her absence she says they should run the office well and do carryout their responsibilities well.She walks away. Nirmal gives her a stare. Pinky walks in and looks at Krishna with a sly smile. She says – “Krishna” – and hugs her. “From today I am the BDO of the block” . All are shocked SO is Krishna. Nirmal smiles again. Pinky gives her a look of victory.
