Saas Bina Sasural 31st July 2012 Written Update

~Smiley and Dadaji are playing chess and Dadaji beats Smiley and she says that this is a first and no one was ever able to beat her. Toasty comes and sits down then and asks her if she has lots of friends in Chandigarh and Smiley says tons..so many that I can’t even remember..Toasty asks is there anyone who is more than a friend to you? Smiley says you mean a boyfriend? No there’s no one like that yet..when the time comes, it will happen. Toasty asks what kind of family she wants and Smiley says like the C’s…she doesn’t say anything about Tej though and Toasty asks what about someone like Tej? Smiley says I can live without a saddu in my life..Toasty praises Tej but Smiley praises Tej-Toasty jodi and their love.

~Dimple reaches home and tells Sudha that Prachin dropped her. Sudha asks about Smiley and Toasty and Dimple tells they are doing good but also says that Toasty looks weak. Sudha is worried about her and says that she never looks after herself while looking after so many people.

~Pashu comes home with sweets as they got a huge deal with Rahul bhai..Tej comes a little while later also with sweets but also bearing the advance check with a huge amount. They are really happy with their good luck and Tej says that it seems everything is finally going the way it should in the family. Toasty starts getting a headache but she covers up with a smile. Tej shows that he saw a shop on the way back with a dress that would suit Smiley and thought as she is a guest, he would get it for her on behalf of the family. Everyone is surprised that Tej is finally ok with Smiley and Pashu tells him to go give it to Smiley himself.

~Tej goes and hands Smiley the dress and Smiley is happy and impressed. Toasty comes there too and Smiley goes and tries on the dress and comes back. She tells Toasty that Toasty was right and Tej is really a very good husband and she hopes that she will find someone like him too. Toasty says there is only one in the market and do you want this one? Tej says eh!! and Toasty and Smiley laugh.

~Toasty is cleaning and Dadaji tells her not to work so hard but Toasty doesn’t listen and says that she is really happy as Smiley and Tej have passed the second step. Dadaji is not happy with what Toasty is trying to do and Toasty gets a chakkar but gathers herself up and Dadaji leans forward seeing her and then once Toasty is stable again, he grumbles that she can’t even take care of herself and she is trying to get Smiley and Tej together (did not like cold Dadaji right there It is so unlike Dadaji) Sudha comes then calling for Toasty and shows Toasty that she brought her favorite sweet…she asks Toasty what state have you made yourself..you look so weak and there are such dark circles under your eyes. Toasty is a little shocked hearing this. Malti comes and Sudha asks her whether or not she thinks so as well and Malti says I’ve been saying too that Toasty doesn’t look well at all but she doesn’t listen. Sudha demands to take her to the doctor but Toasty gets out of it by saying that she will have Tej take her. Sudha tells her to stay there and rest and she will go and make chai. Toasty wonders to herself if her bimaari has really started showing in her face.

~Sudha is making chai when Prachin comes in and asks why she is making chai and Sudha says that Toasty isn’t doing well and Prachin asks what happened to her. Sudha says who lives with her..you or me? Prachin says me and Sudha says so you should know but neither no one here takes care of her health and neither does she. Prachin asks her to leave the chai and that he will make it and bring it out. He asks if she came alone or if Dimple came with her..Sudha asks why he is asking and Prachin makes an excuse and says to know how much chai to make and Sudha smiles and says no I came by myself. Smiley comes in then and Smiley and Sudha hug each other and are really happy and Smiley says that she will make chai and tells Sudha to go sit with Toasty. Smiley tells Prachin to stay and asks about his date with Sonakshi. Prachin says it went really well all thanks to Dimple. He starts explaining to Smiley what Dimple did and praises her while looking off with kind of a dreamy and impressed look (At least one good thing is happening!! Am loving this Prachin-Dimple track! <3) Smiley catches on and smiles at him. Prachin leaves the kitchen and Smiley says to herself..Sonakshi is his girlfriend but all he could talk about was Dimple..she smiles knowingly to herself. ~Toasty goes to see the doctor and the doctor tells her that she is lucky that she was able to hide her bimaari from her family for so long and now she won't be able to anymore because the symptoms will show clearly. Toasty asks if there is anyway to hide her bimaari and the doctor says no and it is best if you tell your family and start your treatment right away. Toasty says what is the point of the treatment? To live a few more days? What is the point of living those few more days? I know what I have to do before I die though and I will do just that. She leaves. ~Toasty goes to the mandir and is depressed and aks God to show her a way so that she can hide her bimaari from the family as she doesn't want to cause them pain and see them dying with her...she doesn't want them to be sad after she dies too (there's no way to stop them from being sad, dear) and that she isn't asking anything for her sake but is only asking for the happiness of her family and she will do anything to keep them happy.

Pre-cap: Everyone is at the dining table and Pashu says that it is their duty to fulfill a wife’s wishes. Tej says I always fulfill all my Toasty’s wishes. Toasty says there is still one wish that I have and says I want a break/vacation. Tej says done and Pashu agrees and says yeah both of you should go. Tej says lets just wait for Vedika to get back and then we will go on a vacation. Toasty says no I want to go now..Tej says but you know I can’t go now and Toasty says when did I say that you had to come..I want to go by myself. Tej gets ticked off hearing this and says I’m not sending you alone..end of discussion, no arguments.
