Diya Aur Baati Hum 27th July 2012 Written Update

The Rathis are at the clinic. The doctor examines Suraj and says he seems to be okay but is under a lot of pressure and that is causing him this problem. He gives him a medicine but says Suraj needs to come out of this fear as medicine is not the cure for this condition. Bhabho asks Sandy what the doctor is saying. Sandy tells Suraj will be all right.

In Pushkar, RK is having his lunch. Meena comes there. She gives Chathuri some work and serves RK with halwa. Chathuri is suspicious why Meena is so good to RK. Meena is thinking of getting her sister Sudha married to RK.

Rathis are walking in the mall. Bhabho is worried about Suraj and thinks Sandy is hiding something. She holds back Sandhya as she wants to talk to her while Bhabhasa and Suraj move on.

Meena is eating laddoos but then hears Vikram’s voice. She has a plan and starts working in the kitchen. Vikram who comes there for water notices this and asks why she is working and goes to call Chavvi. Meena stops him and convinces him to bring Sudha to their house for help.

Bhabho speaks to Sandy about Suraj’s health condition and tells Suraj cannot handle defeat and that is why she was worried. She blames Sandy for this and asks her to arrange tickets for going back to Pushkar. Sandy has flashbacks of when Bhabho recites the childhood incident of Suraj and agrees to go back to Pushkar but asks one more chance in order to overcome this fear of Suraj as this might become a long-term problem if not handled immediately. She convinces Bhabho on how much Suraj’s happiness and well being means to her.

Chavvi is serving lunch to Mohit. Meena who is also having lunch praises Chavvi’s cooking. She reminds of some festival and asks Chavvi to cook something. Chavvi refuses. Meena tricks Chavvi to agree to bring Sudha for some days in Bhabho’s absence. She then goes away happily. Mohit asks Chavvi how come she agreed to bring Sudha and she says him she will make her work like a maid and have badla.

SurYa are walking by the pool side. Sandy is trying to cheer him up but he is lost in his flashbacks where the customer insults him and makes him taste his own food. Sandy sees this and thinks of doing something big in order to overcome Suraj’s fear. She walks into the pool. Suraj is still in his flashbacks and does not notice Sandy and she walks further into the pool. Suraj finally notices her and wonders why she is in water and what is she doing. Sandy is still going farther. Suraj calls her and she turns to him. He tells her to come back and not move further as it is dangerous. She does not listen to him but moving back slowly. Finally, Suraj goes to get her back. He is just using one hand to move further in water. Sandy gets drowned and he uses both hands and saves her from drowning. Sandy is happy that his right hand is okay. She holds his hand and explains him how his fear is paralyzing him. It is disabling his body and mind and making him feel defeated without even giving a try. Suraj tells he cannot give them pain by losing the competition. She tells him win or loss is not important. At this stage, if he wins, they all will be happy for him and even if he loses, it does not make any difference, he remains the same son to Bhabho-Bhabhosa, same brother for Chavvi-Mohit, same Surajsa for Chotu-Chathuri and will remain the same Surajji for her. Suraj gets emotional and hugs her.

Precap: Another round of competition where 2 contestants will be paired with each other. The organizer picks up the chit, first name is Mathie, then he picks out another and reads Suraj Rathi, so Mathie and Suraj are paired for this round. Mathie is not happy and Suraj is taken back.
