CID 15th July 2012 Written Update

hreya, Abhijeet, Nikhil, Purvi, and Daya (in counter-circular order) standing around KD. Abhijeet asks KD what he thinks as to whether DCP committed these murders. KD says that he was fighting in court to prove DCP innocent, but then he twisted the case by accepting that he committed the murders. Abhijeet says that DCP is like that and you shouldn’t have taken his case. KD says that this happened after Janardhan came in. Abhijeet and Daya are sure that this happened because of the message and Tarika will be able to find something from his hand. KD says we’ll need to find Janardhan’s murderer before the court makes it decision. Abhijeet says we don’t have time but we’ll find him. KD says nothing is impossible for CID. (Does CID need to be told that? For god’s sake people buck up!!!)

ACP asks Tarika what she found and she says she finds it hard to concentrate without Dr. Salunkhe. ACP says he understands. Tarika says that Janardhan was crushed by a bus or truck. ACP can’t accept that if the murder was to be shown an accident, then why Janardhan’s body was in the warehouse. Purvi asks about what is written on Janardhan’s hand. Tarika shows them. ACP reads “Apardhi banoge yah khooni. Jurm mann lo warna sher main char bomb phatenge.” ACP is surprised. He says that there must be a reason for hiding Janardhan’s body in that warehouse.

Daya, Rajat, and Sachin enter the warehouse. Daya sends Sachin to get the security guard from the other godown. Rajat and Daya start searching the warehouse and Rajat finds an area where boxes were moved from. Daya finds something that shows that the boxes had RDX in them. The security guard tells them that the security guard of the warehouse is Manoj.

Sachin, Freddy, and Rajat are at Manoj’s house. They find out he’s missing for a few days. Manoj’s wife recognizes Janardhan as some freelance photographer. Sachin says that Janardhan was snooping on Manoj. Rajat sees a photo of Manoj and is surprised. Rajat asks for medical reports. (Umm why? I’ve never seen this Manoj before in this case. )

ACP, Purvi, and Nikhil in forensic lab. ACP says that how can Salunkhe’s body be in DCP’s house. ACP is looking at Manoj’s photo and understands why Rajat got surprised. Manoj and Salunkhe are of the same height and colour. (So Rajat is quite clever!!! ) Purvi says that maybe Manoj is in place of Salunkhe. ACP says that the kidnappers used Manoj and his warehouse. ACP says that Salunkhe may be alive still. Nikhil reminds ACP about the DNA. Tarika finds an appendix operation mark and says that Manoj had one done. (And how come you didn’t see this before?) ACP says that how did the fingerprints and DNA match. ACP asks if anyone else came into the lab. Tarika says Rohan, lab attendant, came and maybe he did something. ACP says we need to find Salunkhe through DCP’s house. (Thank you for explaining this. Makes sense I guess.)

Daya and Shreya checking DCP’s house. Shreya finds one window is broken. Daya says that the alarm never rang meaning the murderer had turned it off and then Daya sees a camera and thinks that the code went through the camera to the murderer. Shreya says maybe there is a transmitter. Daya tells her to check. Shreya finds the transmitter. (I don’t care what you guys say. I’m really smart. ) Now they want to find the car that Manoj was brought in and Daya sees a newspaper. He thinks that the newspaper person must have seen something.

At Rohan’s house, Rajat, Freddy, and Sachin start searching for some clues. Rajat finds a room with a lot of bomb making materials. Rajat starts looking through papers and finds that they were made with RDX. Rajat finds a broken SIM card and finds a receipt of purchases. (And Rajat is pretty clever as well.)

Daya, ACP, and Purvi are questioning the man who drops off the newspaper. He says that DCP’s car wasn’t there, but there were 2 other cars. One was a black Alsof and the other a white van. ACP says that the Alsof could be Salunkhe’s. The man remembers there was a lion sticker on the white van. Purvi says it could be a logo of a company. (Umm…why does the criminal’s car always have to have some type of sticker on it. Most criminals (especially smart ones) don’t usually have something that can identify their car so easily.) Purvi checks logo finder and they find the logo, which is of Diwan Fashion House. Vineet and Nikhil come in and say they found Rohan’s new mobile number and on tracing it found that it’s moving in Maliwaya Nagar. Purvi tells them that a white van was stolen and recites its number. ACP tells Daya to phone the control room about the white van.

Daya, Rajat, and Sachin are following Rohan’s mobile and Daya tells Sachin to call bomb squad and tell them to reach Selu Bazar where Rohan is. They find Rohan in a car, shot, but still alive.

ACP, Purvi, and Nikhil are checking some cars and find the white van. Purvi finds a body in the back of the van, who looks like the driver of the van. Nikhil finds a cell phone and sees that it is empty. He also finds Salunkhe’s pen and thinks that Salunkhe was taken in that car. Then ACP tells Nikhil to bring a bomb detector.

Both teams are checking the area with their bomb detectors. Both teams find bombs and clear the area. After some high intensity scenes, one bomb is diffused successfully, but ACP is unable to diffuse the other bomb.

Team is back at bureau. ACP says it’s important that Rohan regains consciousness fast. Rajat says that the bombs were activated through a PCO in Pritampur area, but the owner of the PCO doesn’t know anything. ACP wonders what can get us to the rest of the bombs. Shreya says that maybe Dr. Salunkhe can help us. ACP agrees and says that if we get to him then he can tell us something for sure. Freddy comes in and says that he talked to the manager at Diwan Fashion House and found out that the van had driven 12500km before being stolen and had a reading of 12550km when it was found. Rajat says that their was sand in the van. ACP checks a map and sees Pristine Beach is in a 10km radius of where the van was found. ACP gets a call saying that Rohan has come to conscious.

Rajat, Freddy, and Sachin are questioning Rohan. They reveal that the bomb killed 40 people, but it could have been more if we hadn’t reached in time. Rohan asks for forgiveness and says that he did it because his mother is with them and he had to do it to save his mother. Rajat asks about the rest of the bombs. Rohan says that one is Twilight School and the other in Bandhi Park. Rohan doesn’t know anything else, but he says that they have Dr. Salunkhe. Sachin asks where he is. Rohan says that he doesn’t know, but they said that until they don’t get that thing they can’t kill Dr. Salunkhe. Rajat says that’s one good news.

Rajat, Freddy, and Sachin arrive at Twilight School. Rajat questions the security guard who says he didn’t see anyone who doesn’t belong. Rajat says that what if someone enters as a parent even though they aren’t. The security guard says that even the parents have I-cards without which they can’t enter. Then Rajat sees a scooter which the security guard doesn’t know about. The owner of the scooter comes forward. Sachin finds a briefcase and Freddy calls bomb squad.

Daya, Rajat, and Sachin reach the park and find out that the other bomb was diffused. (Do Rajat and Sachin have flying powers or did we miss something?) Daya tells Rajat and Sachin to get the park emptied. Daya finds the briefcase with the bomb in it. Daya tells them to call bomb squad.

Abhijeet, Daya, and Purvi are at the beach and are questioning some people. (Now Daya has the same flying powers. ) They meet in front of the last bungalow and see tire marks. They enter the house. Abhijeet finds a chair with rope on it and blood. Purvi is outside and she lifts the cover of a manhole and finds Dr. Salunkhe in it. She yells for the duo. They come running and seeing Dr. Salunkhe both get ready to save him. Abhijeet takes off his jacket and both get into the manhole. Daya holds onto Dr. Salunkhe and Abhijeet tells Purvi to get a ladder. Together they help Dr. Salunkhe out of the hole where water is flooding. (I just loved this scene. Guys you have to watch it. It’s awesome!!!)

Dr. Salunkhe is in the hospital. ACP, Rajat, and Freddy come into his room. ACP happy and tells Dr. Salunkhe to write everything he knows about the culprit. Dr. Salunkhe writes one word: Teja. ACP recognizes it as DCP’s old enemy.

ACP, Rajat, Shreya, and Vineet in bureau. Teja was arrested by DCP 10 years ago and now he’s back with a new gang. ACP says that Dr. Salunkhe told them that he heard industrial sirens where he was and it took about 30 minutes to get there. Rajat says that there is only one industrial area 30 minutes from DCP’s house, Narayani Industrial Area.

The duo, Shreya, and Vineet enter the area, pushing aside a guy who tries to stop them. Abhijeet sees that there are mines in the area. The duo start firing at the area blasting the mines. Then Daya fires at a house window, smashing it, and both him and Shreya enter through there. Abhijeet and Vineet do the same to another window. They are welcomed by the gang with guns. The 4 attack and a nice fight scene between goons and the 4 officers. (Another awesome scene. Especially the duo fighting and Shreya giving that awesome kick. Who says I can’t be biased towards myself? )

Teja is taken to Adaalat where he reveals that he did everything to take revenge from Dr. Salunkhe and DCP for sending him to jail. He reveals his entire plan. Teja blames CID and KD for ruining everything. KD says “Sorry about that. Who lives by the gun, dies by the gun.” The judge sentences Teja. Jaiswal praises KD. KD tells DCP to reform, but DCP says that you’re there to save me. KD says, “Lo kar lo baat.”

In the bureau, the whole team is laughing like madmen at DCP’s kismat. They are laughing at his hair now, then ACP sees DCP. The rest of the team can’t see DCP, but one-by-one they see him and change what they are saying. DCP comes in and everyone gets tongue-tied. Everyone is hiding their laughter. DCP leaves and ACP says “Jaate jaate bhi tension degaya. Arre dekha jayega.” Everyone starts laughing again.
