CID 7th July 2012 Written Update

Rahasyamayi Bullet-Part 2

A truck is being loaded with some items where a lady tells a guy that tomorrow the office will open in a grand way. Suddenly something falls from above and the lady screams. CID team arrives.

Abhijeet, Shreya and Nikhil check the bullet wound on the dead man’s chest. Shreya tells that no one heard or saw anyone shooting the bullet nor do they recognize the person, they only saw the person fall from above the building. Nikhil finds a drug packet in the dead man’s pocket. Shreya finds some rope marks on the dead body’s hands and wonders what was the person doing with the rope on the terrace.

Team reaches on to the terrace and finds another dead body. Abhijeet recognizes him to be Vijay, a retired police officer. They find a similar bullet wound on upper part of chest where the bullet went through the person’s body and also find a similar rope mark on Vijay’s hand.

Abhijeet finds a 3rd dead body on the terrace with a bullet wound on the neck but no exit wound and also a rope mark on the hand. Abhijeet wonders that all the three people were shot but the bullet wounds on all the three people are at different places. Nikhil gives a possibility that may be three different people killed these three people. Abhijeet wonders how no one saw any of three murders happening. The watchman recognizes the third dead man to be Vikram whose office is in the same building 7th floor.

Team wonders what is the connection between a business man, a retired police officer and the person with drugs in his pocket. Sunil, Vikram’s manager tells that around 1 O clock Vikram came alone onto the terrace to smoke a cigarette.

Forensic Lab
Dr Tarika checks the diameter of the bullet wound using vernier calipers. CID team enters the lab. Dr Tarika tells that all the three people died due to one gun and one bullet. Dr Salunkhe tells that all the three were standing in the same line and the murderer shot from below. Dr Salunkhe shows a computerized picture of three men standing in a row on the terrace and pulling something from below using a rope when the bullet hit all three people, the person in front fell down from the terrace while the other two died on the terrace.

At the bureau
Freddy wonders what is the connection between the three people. Rajat doubts it to be something related to drugs and tells that may be the murderer came to kill only one person, but the other two died just like “Creatures infesting the wheat are ground along with it (on the grind stone)”. ACP wonders what they were doing with the rope. ACP asks Vivk to find out the relation between Vijay and Vikram.

At the crime scene
Abhijeet looks at the crime scene, the parapet wall of the terrace and guesses that if all the three people were standing near the parapet wall pulling the rope, then the murderer was on the other side of the rope, i.e. hanging from the rope. The murderer then shot from below and the bullet hit all the three people. Nikhil wonders why was the murderer hanging and if the murderer was hanging from the rope then why did the three people pull him up to which Abhijeet tells that may be the three people didn’t know that the person hanging to the rope is going to shoot them, he must have called for help so all the three people might have tried to help him. Abhijeet also adds that the person who would be hanging from the building would probably be the one who cleans the glasses or does some repair or painting work the of the building.

At Vijay’s house
Vijay’s wife tells that Vijay was excited about some old case and the previous day before he left the house there was a call on the landline around 12:30 and after which he left the house. Freddy checks the number and finds out that it was from Vikram’s office.

At the Building
The watchman tells that the previous day some welding work was going on outside the 7th floor. The team gets the info from the watchman,

At Vikram’s office
Vikram’s brother Rohit tells that his brother doesn’t know any Vijay. Rajat asks if Vikram used to take drugs. Rohit tells that Vikram used to take drugs but quit one year back when he got saved from a plane crash. Only he and a lady got saved so he took it as a new life and quit smoking and drinking.

At the welder’s house
Sachin, Nikhil and Purvi enter the welder’s house. The welder tells that around 1 O clock he went to have lunch and when he came back the watchman asked him not to enter the building saying that some murder has happened.

At Vikram’s office
Vikram;s manager tells that the previous day Dhruv, Vikram’s ex-business partner came to meet Vikram. Rohit tells that an year back Dhruv was left with no money and dhruv felt that it was because of Vikram so they broke the partnership and also Dhruv had threated to kill Vikram.

At welder’s house
Nikhil does not find any weapon in the welder’s house. The welder tells that when he was welding on 7th floor he heard something fall down and also heard some people fight. It was around 11 ‘ 11;30.

At Dhruv’s office
Sachin asks if Dhruv went to Vikram’s office around 11 ‘ 11:30. Dhruv tells that he went to talk about some work and a small argument took place and also broke a vase in angerbut later the issue was solved. He tells that he went there to ask for compensation, initially Vikram was not ready to pay but later when he listed all the frauds that Vikram did in the company, Vikram became ready to pay the compensation. Dhruv shows the cheque given by Vikram. Dhruv also tells that when he was coming out of Vikram’s office he heard Vikram talk in Tapori language on phone to Bhiku.

At the bureau
Vivek tells that around 1 O clock Dhruv was in a business meeting. Rajat tells that Bhiku is a drug dealer and his finger prints match the 1st dead body’s print.

At Bhiku’s house
Bhiku’s wife tells that she doesn’t know any Vikram. Rajat asks if Bhiku was a drug dealer. Bhiku’s wife tells that he had stopped selling drugs 7-8 months back because every week he used to get good amount of money which he generally used to bring in a packet. Bhiku’s wife shows the packet and finds it to be Vikram’s companies envelope.

Team checks the finger prints on the notes and finds Raghu’s finger prints on it. Freddy tells that Raghu had died one year back in the same plane crash from which Vikram was saved. Rajat adds that in the plane crash only Vikram and another lady had got saved then how did Raghu live? Freddy confusingly tells that if only one man got saved in the crash and if it was Raghu then Vikram might have died. Nikhil tells that they found Vikram’s dead body on the terrace. ACP asks them to match Raghu’s finder prints to the dead body’s finger print (Vikarm’s body). They find a perfect match i.e. dead vikram on the terrace was actually Raghu. ACP asks the team to inquire in the hospital where the plane crash patients were treated.

At the hospital
Doctor tells that Vikram was in a very bad situation when he was brought to the hospital he was totally burnt and his face was hardly recognizable. Daya asks as to how did they confirm that the burnt person was Vikram and no one else. The doctor says that there were 100’s of dead people here so they used the seat number to find out the person’s name and identity and accordingly they recreated the face. Vineet asks how come no one in Vikram’s house realize that Vikram is not real Vikram. Daya tells that they should find out the realtion between Raghu and Vikram

At the bureau
Rajat tells that Raghu and Vikram knew each other. Raghu was a gangster and used to do some illegal work for Vikram’s business and Raghu’s ticket was also booked by Vikram’s company. Vivek tells that Raghu was Bhiku’s brother and that’s the reason why Raghu called Bhiku on to the terrace. Rajat adds that once upon a time Raghu was Vijay’s informer and may be the murderer did not come to kill Vikram, he actually knew that Vikram was actually Raghu and he wanted to kill Raghu only. ACP asks the team to search Raghu’s house.

At Raghu’s house
Team finds a big package full of costly paintings. Daya tells that he knows someone who can tell them about these paintings.

At the Art Gallery
Daya shows the paintings to Sanjeev (art expert) who tells that the paintings are too costly and are made by a Russian painter. They were sold in an auction in London and were bought by India’s popular art collector Yehswant. Sherya tells that Yeshwant is Vikram’s uncle. Sanjeev tells that 3 years back Yeshwant was killed and all these paintings were stolen from his house.

At the bureau
Nikhil gets the report of the paintings robbery and tells that the case incharge was Vijay. Abhijeet tells that as per the report there was no forced entry into the house i.e. it was done by someone from inside the house and knew yeshwant very well. Vijay doubted Vikram but couldn’t find and evidence. Sachin wonders why Raghu called Vijay because if the pending case reopens then he would fall in to trouble because for the whole world he is Vikram. Abhijeet tells that may be Raghu knew who the real murderer is and who stole the paintings and he wanted to inform about the real murderer so that his name i.e. vikram’s name would get clear and his life would get settled. Abhijeet adds that the person who stole the painting is the person who knew Vikram is not Vikram.

Last scene
Rohit is standing in the garden and telling to someone on phone that he is very clever and now his life is settled. The team arrives and shows the painting to rohit. Rohit recognizes the painting and tells that it’s the same painting which was stolen from his uncle’s house. Daya tells that they also found his brother’s murderer and asks him to confess for his brother and uncle’s murder. Rohit points gun at himself and threatens to kill himself. Daya gives him the famous slap . Rohit tells that he killed yeshwant because he saw them steal and later he came to know that Vikram is Raghu and he even knows the real murderer of Yeshwant so he killed Raghu, vijay and bhiku too. Daya gives the famous phaansi dialog.
