Saas Bina Sasural 4th July 2012 Written Update

The epi begins with yesterday’s scene. With Chedi asking who the girl is and Prachin telling everyone that Divya is Ved’s girlfriend.

Ved tells everyone that it’s not true. Nitika is in shock and asks Prachin to carry on.

Prachin tells everyone how he heard Ved talking to someone on the phone and a flashback is shwon of Ved on the phone.

Tej and Toasty are sighing/ worrying as Prachin tells the whole story of what happened.

Nitika cries and asks if Prachin is telling the truth. Ved says he did go and meet him, Shobha taunts that he got caught.

Chedi asks Ved if he is not ashamed. He is married and he doing such things.

Toasty gives Tej a look, clearly wanting him to say something because he is sat there in silence.

Chedi carries on asking where those values of his.

Shobha pipes in and says that even though he has a wife, he is going around with another woman.

DadaJi tells her and Bheju that it’s not right to point fingers at someone without any evidence. He tells Chedi to sit down and Shobha continues and says you need more evidence? His own younger brother is the one who is telling us all of this.

Ved stands up and says enough. Ved asks them to listen to them. They are all accusing him without even asking.

Nitika asks what? And Ved tells her that he has no links with that Divya Patel. Shobha asks how he got her number. He went to meet her. He says but he didn’t meet her cos Prachin turned up.

Bheju twists it and says see, he admited the truth. Shobha stirs it too.

Ved tells them that she is Tej’s bosses daughter. Tej looks away in shame.

Pashu asks why he went to meet Tej’s bosses daughter. Ved looks at Tej. Nitika asks there must have been something because you went to meet her.

Tej looks at Toasty, who gives him an angry look, wanting him to speak.

Why did you leave me for her? Shobha says it must be for money. Ved tells them that there is nothing like that. Shobha says when you get caught then that’s what people say. And Bheju also stirs.

Pashu tells him to shut up and tells Ved to sit down. He says why did you go and meet her? Ved says I went to explain to her. So that he could leave Tej and Toasty alone.

Toasty closes her eyes and Tej looks away.

Ved continues and says Tej and Divya have something going on. Chedi hits Ved’s shoulder and asks what he’s talking about and tells him to hide his own msitakes he’s blaming Tej.

Ved asks Chedi how can you hink I’d do something like that.

Malti says but how can we all believe that Tej would decieve Toasty like that?

TejYa in the meantime, are trying to look away, hiding their faces as everyone is talking.

Ved says I didn’t believe it myself but I saw it with my own eyes. And flashbacks are shown with Tej hugging Divya when Ved first saw them.

Ved explains the whole story as flashbacks are shown of Ved chasing them.

DadaJi tells Tej that it’s an embarrassment. He never thought Tej would do something like that. He asks Tej you could’ve at least thought about Toasty once.

Tej looks away in frustration.

Pashu tells Toasty that everyone is with him. They all plan to throw him out.

Toasty tells everyone to calm down and that she knew about Tej and Divya. Everyone is in shock.

Nitika asks her why didn’t she tell them or even stop Tej.

Toasty tells them that it’s not a big deal, that’s why!

Everyone is confused.

Nitika tells her that her husband is off out with some girl and you say this is not a big deal.

Bheju pipes in and finishes the scene by saying that big houses and their big teachings. Tej looks away annoyed.

Next scene is of everyone sat in the hall.

Pashu says so you mean to say that your boss is ill. And TejYa say yes.

Chedi continues and says that Mr. Patel is dying. And TejYa reply yes.

DadaJi says and he wants you to marry his daughter. And TejYa reply yes, ocnemore.

Malti says so that’s why you were pretending. TejYa nod

And Nitika finishes by saying in order for Mr. Patel to live happily during his last days. TejYa confirm it.

Ved asks Tej that he did it with Toasty’s permission. To which they both reply yes.

Shobha tells everyone that Toasty has gone mad. That she’s giving her husband to someone else.

Toasty assures her that it’s nothing like that. It’s only for a few days.

Shobha tells her that she doesn’t know what men are like. Tej tries to assure Toasty and vows silently but she gestures him to relax.

Shobha continues by saying that it’s not long for it to turn into reality. You never know, they might be pretending to put on a play and something really migh be going on.

Toasty tells her that she trusts Tej her completely. He’d never do anything like that. And Divya knows Tej is married.

Everyone is confused.

Toasty assures them that they only do the pretense in front of Mr. Patel.

Nitika tells everyone that Toasty is right. Ved is surprised. Malti agrees and says if Divya knows that they both know it is pretend. And she asks Chedi that if we can give someone happiness before they die then it’s something worth merit, right?

Chedi tells everyone that rather than hearing such a lie, I’d rather die after hearing the truth. He says that if a man cannot bear such a truth then he doesn’t deserve to live.

Chedi tells Tej to go and tell him the truth. Tej says he can’t do it. Chedi says if you can’t, then I will. Tej tells him that he can’t do that to him.

Pashu asks then what are you going to do? You want to keep him in the dark by decieving him?

Malti tells Pashu that they want to keep him happy. Chedi tells Malti that this is wrong and he can’t give the permission for it.

Part 2 begins as Gyaan suggests that they put it to a vote. Pashu tells him off for eavesdropping on their conversation and he replies that they were speaking so loud that he heard them.

Chedi tells him he’s speaking alot nowadays. And tells him to go and study.

Toasty tells Chedi that Gyaan’s idea isn’t so bad. Since they can’t decide they should put it to a vote.

Chedi gives permission for a vote.

Pashu tells them that if Tej wins then no one will say anything but if Chedi wins then Tej will have to go and tell the truth to Mr. Patel. Tej agrees.

DadaJi tells them not to rush their decision because it’s an important decision. DadaJi tells everyone to relax and then vote in the morning with a cool head. Tej agrees.

The next scene is of Toasty in the kitchen, Tej asks Toasty what she’s doing and she tells him that she’s sorting the breakfast for tomorrow. She’s going to make Gobi ki paraathe.

Tej is more worried about how to explain to Chedi. It’s matter of someone’s life and death.

Toasty says we’ll have to end the pretense if we lose. Tej says we’ll have to end it, but how is Mr. Patel will react. Tej says he won’t be able to forgive himself if something happens to him.

Toasty asks who he thinks will be on their side. Tej says he doesn’t know who is on their side but he knows who isn’t.

Shobha tells Pashu and Malti that she is against the pretense.

Pashu asks her if anyone asked for her opinion. And reminds her that no one is allowed to discuss the voting before it takes place. Shobha tells him that she wasn’t talking about the voting. She just thinks that Tej and Toasty shouldn’t have done it.

Pashu tells her that she should vote against it. That he wants her to vote against it.

Malti asks Pashu how Shobha can vote? She’s not a member of the family.

Tej tells Toasty that Shobha can’t vote anyway but who says she’ll vote for their side.

He says Chedi, Pashu, Malti and Shobha will vote against them, for sure.

She asks what about Gyaan and Prachin?

In the hall, Gyaan and Prachin are preparing their mattresses for bed and Gyaan tells Prachin that he thinks Tej and Toasty are doing the right thing. Prachin agrees and Bheju walks up behind them and says he doesn’t agree.

Prachin asks him did anyone ask for your input? And he blames Bheju for all of this.

Bheju says why are you blaming me. It was you decided to be a spy. Prachin gets annoyed.

Gyaan says forget it and asks him what he thinks.

Prachin sits down with Gyaan and Bheju joins them. Prachin tells Gyaan that the two of them and TejYa will be on one side and turns to ask Bheju who agrees.

Prachin says the total is 10 votes and we need two more on our side. He says Pashu, Ved and PitaJi are for a no. Bheju says who is left.

Prachin says, Nitika, DadaJi and Malti.

Gyaan asks about Shobha and Bheju asks what about me.

Prachin tells Bheju that he is nota family member, neither is Shobha so they can;t vote.

Chedi and DadaJi come into the hall and Chedi says they can’t vote either.

Pracin and Gyaan jump up and ask why not.

Chedi tells them that they are too young. DadaJi agrees and Gyaan says he’s seen such things on the TV and things. He also tells about his friend’s dad. He continues babbling on as his Chedi looks on. Chedi asks him what else? Gyaan realises he’s in trouble and says he told his friend that he doesn’t know. Because he doesn’t know. Because he’s a child. He says he shouldn’t vote. If he doesn’t know. He runs off.

Prachin says he’s not a child. If he can vote for the government then why can’t he vote in the family matters. DadaJi agrees and Chedi gives permission.

Tej tells Toasty that they have 4 votes: Prachin, Gyaan and those two.

Toasty says then that leaves: DadaJi, Ved and Nitika.

Tej thinks DadaJi will be on their side and Ved will be on Chedi’s side. Which means 5 each. Which leaves Nitika.

Toasty says she’ll side with us. And Tej says they’ll win. Toasty says we’ll see what happens.

Part 3 begins with the next morning, everyone in the hall.

DadaJi tells everyone that the pretense is to make a good man happy. So there is no selfishness or greed in it. He goes on to say that they shouldn’t cover up the fact that what they are doing is not right.

He tells them marriage, relationships are important, there should be no deciet in it. You should put yourself in Mr. Patel’s place. If you were in that position and someone tried to do that with you. How would you feel? DadaJi says he’s sure that everyone will vote after thinking it through.

Everyone starts writing down their vote.

Shobha and Bheju look on. One by one everyone puts their votes in the box.

DadaJi tells Nitika to count the votes and she does so.

She reads a No first. Tej squeezes his eyes shut and then whispers to Toasty that it’ll be Chedi’s vote. The next no that Nitika reads, Tej has the same reaction and whispers to Toasty that it will be Pashu’s vote.

The next vote is a yes and Tej and Toasty rejoice. The next vote is another yes.

The voting continues until Nitika reads the last yes which Tej whispers that it’ll be Prachin. He celebrates silently and says he’s sure Nitika has said yes. Ved says 4 yes and 4 no, and this is the las one.

Everyone waits silently and impatiently and Nitika says No. To which Tej and Toasty’s face fall.

Chedi says 5 say yes and 4 say no. And tells Tej to meet Mr. Patel and tell him the truth. Toasty tries to console Tej as the episode ends.

Precap: A party at Mr. Patel’s house where he says the party is to introduce an important person. Tej is standing with a smiling Divya. He says he wants to do his daughter’s engagement with Tej and Tej is stood there, shocked!!
