Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum 4th July 2012 Written Update

The episode begins with Vinoy helping Aniket with his wardrobe, and Sushi promises to do a little shopping for Aniket. She takes Vinoy out of the room, and tells him they need to buy a ring for Aniket’s engagement. *Huh? From wardrobe to engagement ring?*

Tejal wears an ivory coloured salwar-kameez, hoping to impress LalitaBen, but the latter speaks coldly to her . Tejal even asks for her forgiveness, and tries to mollycoddle her aunt, but the latter just keeps watching in silence. Tejal’s patience wears out, and her aunt admonishes her to not interfere in Vaibhavi’s life and leaves. Poor Tejal…she doesn’t find much support in her dad either .

Tejal convinces Vaibhavi that things will soon work out in their favour and goes to meet Aniket. He’s waiting for her in the park *and looking quite dapper too! Love those tan shoes!*, and Tejal is wondering how to get there on time, and eventually manages to make a grand entry in a horse-drawn carriage! Turns out, she’d narrated a sorry tale to the carriage-driver that she’s eloping with her boyfriend and he agreed to drop her at the park! Aniket is baffled hearing the story from her!

They sit on a bench, and get to the topic of discussion, and Tejal tells him that she needs his help in getting her cousin married off to the man she loves, and she starts explaining the plan to him. Meanwhile in the background, a man is roasting corn cobs, making my mouth water!

Gulab Chand talks to LalitaBen and asks her to consider Tejal’s request. He explains that Tejal’s manner of saying it might have been wrong, but her motives are not. Saying thus, he leaves her to her thoughts.

Aniket doesn’t seem entirely convinced with Tejal’s plan, and she’s upset and about to leave, when he grabs her by the hand . He tells her he will keep his word, and help her in whatever way he can. Just as they’re celebrating, it starts to rain, and they have a few magical moments trying to capture the monsoon’s essence. However, Tejal gets a bit conscious of herself, and runs inside a gazebo. Aniket senses her discomfort and offer his shirt *and gives us a glimpse of those muscles!* He later drives her home *I had no idea Aniket could drive. I would have expected his family to be more protective of him, as they always have been.* They decide to meet on Tuesday as planned. Our rockstar babe looks all dreamy-eyed while getting off the car and giving him his shirt back *I can already see the sparks flying!* But Aniket’s reactions are a bit guarded.

PRECAP: The twins are throwing a tantrum that their parents have always Aniket above the others, and loved him more. They berate him, and Samyukta panics when Shashwat points out that Aniket is their parents’ favourite child.
