Saas Bina Sasural 3rd July 2012 Written Update

Today’s epi begins with the last minute of yesterday’s epi. With Ved and Toasty spotting Tej in the caf.

Tej asks Ved and Toasty (calmly) what they are doing there. Ved stutters and says they have come to get something. Toasty tells Tej that they need to get a gift for Nitika. Toasty asks Tej what he’s doing there and he says that he had a meeting, which is now over, Toasty breathes a sigh of relief as Tej says they’ll all go and get Nitika a gift together.

Ved says he’ll get something to eat and rushes back in as Toasty calls after him. Toasty panics and asks him where Divya is and he tells Toasty that she has gone. Toasty sighs another sigh of relief and asks why. Tej tells her that Mr. Patel didn’t turn up so they didn’t need to keep up pretence if he wasn’t there so he said bye to Divya and left. Toasty joins her hands together and silently thanks God.

Toasty thanks God and says if Ved saw Divya and him together then they’d have to explain everything to him. And Tej says he wouldn’t understand. A waiter comes and gives Tej some food packed away. Tej tells Toasty that he didn’t eat the food so he brought it to take away. Toasty says they’ll give it to Ved as he was so hungry and Tej agrees.

Ved is inside the caf but Divya isn’t there and he is wondering who the woman is and what relation she shares with Tej. He sighs then leaves from there.

Toasty asks Tej where Ved is and he comes running out and asks Tej where they are. Tej asks who and Ved says the one you had a meeting with. Tej tells him that the meeting is over so they have left. Tej says they’ll g and get a gift for Nitika together. Toasty tells Ved to eat something first.

Ved tells them that he won’t be able to eat or go anywhere. Toasty is confused. She reminds him that he was hungry that’s why they got food packed for him. Ved tells them that he got a call from work and they’ve called him. Toasty insists him to eat but he says he has to go and they should eat. Toasty says that she and Tej will go and get Nitika a gift. Tej and Toasty are both confused.

The next scene is of Ved showing Divya’s photo from his phone to the watchman outside the salon where Tej works. The watchman tells Ved that she is Divya, the bosses daughter. He asks Ved why he wants to know and recognises him from the morning as the one who wanted to meet Tej, the credit card person.

Ved tells him that he has met Tej and he is now here to meet Divya. And he asks where to meet Divya. The watchman takes a card out and gives it to Ved, saying to talk to him on the phone and Ved leaves.

The next scene begins with Shobha giving DadaJi hot jalebis. She tells him that she went to get vegetables and decided to get him some. She tells him of a saying from her Bareli about eating sweets, thinking sweet and speak sweet.

DadaJi questions why she brought sweet for him since he doesn’t speak bitterly. She tells him that she knows that his heart is soft and so is his tongue. She goes on to say that he wouldn’t leave the “nanhi si jaan” in a strange city, alone. Dadaji questions who is the nanhi si jaan. And she tells him your bheju.

Shobha suggests making some besan ki laddoo with desi ghee. She tells him she makes them really well. Toasty comes in sees the jalebis and Shobha tells her she bought some jalebis. DadaJi tells Toasty that Shobha wants Bheju to stay.

Toasty says there’s no need because she and DadaJi have made a decision. She acts as if she’s got some bad news and then tells her that Bheju can stay. Shobha gets excited and DadaJi tells her not to cancel her plans to make besan ki laddoo. Shobha says she’s going to go to the shops and get the ingredients to make besan ki laddoo.

The next scene is of Tej and Vedika in Vedika’s room and Nitika is opening her present, which is a sari and thanks Ved for it. Ved asks if she likes it and she says like is a really small word in front of it.

Ved tells her that he told Toasty to get it. Tej pipes in and says he hasn’t been praised even though he helped Toasty. Nitika asks why Tej didn’t get a gift for Toasty and he says there’s no need, she has everything she needs. Ved snipes that it doesn’t matter who has what and how much. She doesn’t ask, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want things. He tells Tej that she is like other wives and she has needs and desires. He walks off muttering he’s always on the laptop. Both Nitika and Tej are left confused.

Gyaan and Prachin are in the hall, thinking of ways to get rid of Bheju. Gyaan tells him to leave it. He tried his best but only God can get rid of him. Prachin tells him to listen and they both sit behind the sofa and suggest hide Bheju’s ghee bottle. Gyaan asks what’ll happen then and Prachin tells him that Bheju will go mad and he tells him Gyaan to go and steal the ghee bottle while he looks for a place to hide it. He tells Gyaan to go and Prachin gets up and looks for a place to hide it.

Ved goes downstairs and seeks blessings from God before calling Divya. He is about to shout hello but lowers his voice and stutters as tells her that he needs to meet her. Prachin overhears from behind him and wonders who he’s talking to.

Ved says all the details where they are going to meet out loud. 5pm at Rose Garden. He tells her to come alone.

Gyaan comes out with the bottle of ghee and calls for Prachin as Ved calls him and he hides the bottle, pretending to pray. Ved asks if Prachin is around and Prachin tells him to keep quiet, which he does and says he may be outside, feeding the plants.

Ved goes off to sleep and Prachin comes out of hiding and starts thinking he has to find out who the woman is that Ved is going to meet and what’s going on.

Part 2 begins with Ved coming down the stairs and Prachin watching him and Ved is watching Tej as he sits down after calling Toasty to bring his breakfast. Prachin thinks to himself that he must finish all his work before Ved comes out of the bathroom. He is about to go upstairs when Bheju meets him at the bottom of the stairs and watches Prachin run up, thinking what he’s upto. He runs into TejYa’s room and double checks his things incase Prachin has messed around with it.

Prachin is searching for Ved’s phone and finds it under his pillow and sees the pictures of Divya in Ved’s phone. Tej comes in and wonders what Prachin is upto. Prachin tells him that he spraying water and Tej ask what is he spraying but just as Prachin is about to answer, Bheju screams his name.

Bheju goes on to say that there’s a limit to everything and that this family doesn’t have any limits. Chedi tells someone to shut his radio and asks why he’s ruining his throat. Bheju tells him that someone has stolen his ghee bottle and that someone from this house has stolen it. And he knows who it is.

Chedi asks him who has stolen the bottle just as Prachin turns to walk away and Bheju points at him. Malti asks Prachin.

Prachin defends himself and tells Chedi that it wasn’t him. Bheju asks him why did he run when he saw him. He then calls him a thief and Chedi raises his voice that he called Prachin a thief. He asks Shobha if she heard what Bheju said and tells DadaJi that he is accusing a member of our family of being a thief. Chedi tells them to throw Bheju out.

Shobha defends him and says his ghee has been stolen, obviously he’s upset. Chedi tells her that you see his worry, not the family’s. Chedi says it’s useless to talk with her and walks off to his room.

Prachin walks over to Bheju and quietly tells him to watch himself. He has spoken too much. If he says one more word that he’ll sort him out there and then. He says if you want to stay, then stay peacefully, otherwise leave.

As Prachin leaves, Bheju says he won’t leave like that. He is going to get his revenge.

The next scene begins with Ved waiting for Divya. He checks his watch and is about to phone her but changes her mind.

Divya arrives, as does Prachin, and as does Bheju. Prachin bumps into Divya and follows her and Bheju sees him chasing Divya and follows them.

Ved spots Prachin and runs off to hide. Just as Bheju hides from Prachin. Divya thinks Prachin is the one who phoned her is goes to confront him. Their argument is drowned out and she slaps Prachin before telling him never to call him and tells her his name and walks off as Ved watches on and Bheju bows down to Divya as she walks past him.

The next scene is of the family at the dinner table. Shobha pleads with Bheju to eat dinner and brings him to the table but he refuses because he can’t eat without eating ghee. He asks Shobha to tell Prachin to give his ghee bottle back but Prachin tells him that he doesn’t have it so how can he give it back. Bheju tells him that he knows that he has his ghee bottle as Shobha scowls at Prachin. He is about to threaten Bheju but stops himself.

Prachin tells him if I had your ghee bottle and didn’t want to give it back, what would you do? Bheju says he didn’t want to say anything but Prachin has made him.

Bheju asks the family if they know where Prachin goes everyday. Shobha pipes in and says that he says that he goes to college and Bheju tells her that it’s an excuse. Shobha asks what he wants to say and say it clearly to the whole family.

Bheju says that he goes to chase girls. Everyone is shocked. Toasty rolls her eyes at his claim. Prachin asks him what he’s going on about and Bheju tells everyone that Prachin even got slapped by the girl today. Prachin touches his cheek where he got hit and Bheju carries on until Pashu tells him to shut up because Prachin can’t do anything like that.

Chedi even agrees and says that he can’t believe that any of his sons have ever teased a girl. Bheju tells him to ask his son and tries to remember the name and says Divya Patel. Tej almost chokes on his food. Chedi and Pashu ask him to speak. Bheju winds him up and tells him to speak and Shobha stands with him. Prachin silently nods.

Chedi jumps up in anger and asks if he was misbehaving with girls but he says he wasn’t, he vows. Ved asks what he was doing there. Chedi asks the same question. Prachin stutters and then says he was following Ved. Chedi is confused and asks Ved what he was doing there and asks Ved who Divya is. Prachin says she is Ved’s girlfriend. Everyone is in shock, including Nitika.

Precap: Nitika asks if Prachin is speaking the truth and if he went to meet Divya Patel. Ved says he did, but… Shobha butts in and teases: but you got caught. Chedi asks if he has no shame. Pashu asks if you haven’t got anything going on between the two of you then why did you go and meet her.
Ved says he went to explain to her. And that there is something going on between her and Tej .Tej looks down at the table, not guilty but moreso preparing himself. And Toasty closes her eyes as if to say: “Oh God, here we go”
