Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum 25th June 2012 Written Update

The episode begins with Tejal’s father about to tell her something, when his gaze meets his sister. LalitaBen is dressed a bit weirdly, and is wielding a broom . Her employees wonder what happened to her. Tejal tells everyone, that her aunt was scattering paper bits around the house, and so she thought her aunt had gone crazy, and calls her “Lallu-mati Lalita” . Her aunt swears she will make her a “Tip top Tejal” *She never gives up!* She hands Tejal the broom and ask her to clean up the mess in the room. And if she (Tejal) succeeds in giving the room a face-lift in two hours, she (the aunt) will let Tejal play cricket all day long. *Even if I don’t like her tactics, I must admit, this aunt is growing on me.* Her ploy succeeds, and Tejal goes to clean the room, glaring at her aunt in anger.

Meanwhile, in Mazumdar Mansion, Sushila is giving Aniket a few tips and pointers on selling his wares to LalitaBen. She suggests he narrate the lady her film’s story, in which she (Sushila) sells ghaghra-choli outside a cemetery at midnight! *Isn’t she the cutest and the funniest!*

Just as Aniket is leaving, he slips on the staircase, and dadi yells at hime to be careful, but she calls him by another name. *I didn’t hear it properly, because of some problem with the video. I think she said Akhilesh* But Dadi gathers her senses quickly and asks Aniket if he’s alright. Samyukta and Nikhilesh are shocked, but Sushila has already started putting two and two together, and guesses that Nikhilesh and Akhilesh might be brothers. *Looks like the mystery is about to be revealed soon.* She manages the situation, and sends Aniket off to work with everybody’s blessings.

The scene shifts to Dadi’s room, and Samyukta is gently massaging Dadi’s feet, and finds that her mum-in-law has lapsed into memories of a time long gone by. She breaks the silence, and wants to talk about it, but Dadi is holding something back, and is worried that Sushila might come to know. *Oh come on, folks. Sushila is family too….why do they need to hide things from her? * Dadi asks Samyukta if she’ll indeed get Aniket married, if he succeeds in his endeavour. Samyukta replies in affirmative and beams with pride. She says she will find such a lovely, well-brought-up girl for Aniket that people will be talking about Samyukta Gouri Mehta Mazumdar’s daughter-in-law as the ideal bahu!

LalitaBen is serving snacks and juice to everyone, and asks Vaibhavi to save some for Tejal, who might be tired after all the cleaning she did. Tejal comes out and announces that she’s cleaned the room. Her aunt is surprised that this got done in twenty minutes . She goes to check the room, and is impressed. In the meantime, Tejal asks the others to escape with her to play cricket, before LalitaBen comes up with something else to stop their fun and games. She wonders out aloud where all the garbage has been disposed of. Just then, the wardrobe opens and all the trash tumbles on the floor

Tejal defends herself, saying she didn’t know where to throw it all away. Her aunt is exasperated, and holds an axe. Tejal asks LalitaBen if she’s going to murder her only niece! Her aunt asks her to clean up the mess, or else watch her bat being axed to bits!
At the Mazumdar House, Sushila is cleaning the clock, and the rest of the family point out that she’s giving Kashi more excuses to be lazy! *Seriously…Kashi is a very irritating character.* Just then, Shashwat receives a call from his “Moni” and is blushing . Sushi and Nikhilesh start pulling his leg! Nikhliesh reads out a funny headline that his son has come up with, and there’s a funny scene with Sushi and Samyukta

At Tejal’s place, LalitaBen has arranged a few baskets for the refuse, and has categorized it as newspapers, glass pieces, plastic and old clothes, and a last one for Tejal’s arrogance and the garbage in her mind .

Sushila calls Aniket to ask him about his progress, and is massaging Vinoy’s head at the same time. She ends up making her husband an oily mess, and they both share a laugh discussing what Samyukta would have said seeing them

Tejal, meanwhile, has organized the refuse into different baskets *Good Lord! We merely separate them into recyclable and kitchen wastes!*

Aniket and his boss are having a friendly banter, and the latter asks him if he’s taking anything home for his girlfriend. Aniket blushes *Gosh!! My screen just about melted!* Another employee informs them that new stock would be arriving that evening at 4. Aniket decides to enquire of LalitaBen if she’s willing to wait till 5 pm to see them. She tells him he can take all the time he wants, since her niece is going to be busy anyway. But she’s not able to multitask talking to both Tejal and Aniket, and causes a little confusion. He enquires about Tejal’s preferences in styles and colours, but LalitaBen brushes it off, saying her niece is a beauty queen and all colours do her beauty justice. On being asked by her daughter, she replies that when daughters smilingly do the household chores, and their faces glow with beads of perspiration, they become the most beautiful creatures on earth . *Tissue, please..sniff sniff sob*
Tejal carries all the baskets to put them outside, but gets distracted by her aunt’s voice and drops them all . Well, back to square one!
