Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum 18th June 2012 Written Update

As the episode begins, Aniket is practising his skills in front of the mirror, and Sushila is surprised to see him up and about so early. Aniket tells her that he still has a long way to go, to achieve his target. Foram suggests that instead of selling door-to-door, Aniket should try his luck at organizations like banks and offices; and goes on to explain herd mentality.

There’s a funny scene in the bus, where a restless Tejal is complaining about not getting enough sleep since the bus driver is driving through meandering roads .

In ViSla’s room, Sushila is hanging a lantern, and on being asked by Vinoy, explains that they will hang one like that on the occasion of their parents’ wedding anniversary and rain tiny paper hearts on the lovely couple. She’s surprised that her husband remembers that scene from her movie, and they decide to check the lantern and see if it’s still working. Just as they press the button, Aniket enters their room, and little red hearts shower on his person . Sushila explains that this is a sign from the Heavens, that the flowers of love will soon blossom in Aniket’s life . And our gorgeous boy smiles coyly, and I swear, he would blush if he could

A visibly bored Tejal comes up with the idea of playing cricket in the bus , and is joined by her jubilant co-passengers. She makes a ball out of several hankies, and they start playing. Tejal’s aunt is impressed with her wit, and also with the fact that she cares about people and thinks from the heart too. Just as she’s praising her niece, the cloth ball hits her square on the face! But there was a hint of love in the aunt’s voice, as she brought up the topic of Tejal’s marriage

Samyukta and Nikhilesh are entertaining a guest, RadhaBen, who has this annoying habit of interrupting people before they finish speaking, with “Ye Radha sab samajh gayi”, albeit it’s apparent, wo kuch nahi samjhi . Samyukta talks about this particular anniversary being special, because of Aniket and his determination to make his livelihood .

Sushila and Aniket arrive downstairs; the former trying to get the latter to have his brekkie. She freezes the poor fella, who’s already running late, and scurries off to the kitchen to get some stuffed paranthas. Radha is about to make a nasty comment about Sushi, but then asks if it’s the same Aniket, and Nikhilesh says, “Nahi nahi, ye hamare paas extra pada tha cupboard mein. Aaj hi nikala” (sic)

Sushi arrives with mini paranthas as Prasad, since she doesn’t want God to suffer from diabetes from eating too much sugar and milk. Shashwat hands Aniket a list of hospitals and offices, where he can sell his apparel. Nikhilesh makes fun of that idea, and does a parody of selling, by offering Glucose and injections as a gift with every salwar-kameez*Now we know where Shashwat gets his humorous streak from.*

RadhaBen is very happy to see Aniket turning into a responsible person, and Samyukta gives all the credit to Sushila . And with this, she broaches the topic of marriage, and tells RadhaBen to keep her eyes open for an appropriate girl for Aniket.

Tejal and her family get off at Ahmedabad, and all the passengers wave to her with promises to meet her again soon. This high-spirited and fun-loving girl has the trait to make friends wherever she goes . And as they all wave their goodbyes, Tejal’s aunt realizes that her (Tejal’s) bag is still aboard the bus! Tejal’s aunt think she deliberately left the bag there, so she wouldn’t have to change her tomboy attire, and they argue. Tejal’s aunt bribes her to take up a challenge of observing silence for half an hour, in lieu of a thousand bucks, and the latter agrees!

They decide to hire a rickshaw, and RadhaBen passes by. Turns out, she’s friends with LalitaBen (I didn’t know that was the aunt’s name) and they exchange pleasantries. RadhaBen finds Tejal irresistibly cute and lovely, and asks her aunt if she’s married or not. LalitaBen confesses, that Tejal’s marriage is the reason they landed in Ahmedabad, and asks RadhaBen to let her know if she has a nice guy in mind. RadhaBen’s matchmaking instincts kick in, and she thinks of pairing up Tejal with Aniket
