Uttaran 14th June 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Meethi thinking in her room about asking Damini/Kanha how old she was when her mom died and getting two different answers.
Kanha brings Aman in the room. Meethi doesn’t look at him. Kanha leaves the room.
Aman keeps talking to her. I came to your house, wouldn’t you ask me to sit? Won’t ask for coffee or noodles?
Meethi doesn’t reply.
He says what has happened to you? You’re not picking up the phone. I thought my friend, my best friend was in some sort of trouble so I came to see you.
Kanha comes back but stays outside the room listening to them.

Meethi says I’m not good enough to be your friend.
Aman comes near her, wipes her tears. He says who said you’re not good enough? You’re the best friend to me. He asks her why she’s so sad?
He says I had come to tell you a good news… but you’re so sad. Meethi asks him to leave her alone.
He says I will leave you alone today but you have to promise me that you’ll come to the study tour that our college is going for tomorrow.
Meethi refuses, says I don’t feel like it. Leave me alone.
She cries and leaves the room. Aman is left puzzled.
He comes out… sees Kanha (who’s himself crying and wipes his tears in the corner). Asks Aman what happened?
Aman says she’s behaving weird. Kanha says she’s fighting with her past… Aman doesn’t understand.
Kanha says thanks, I will try my best to send her for tomorrow’s tour.
Then he asks Aman if you’re the one who collided with Meethi on your Pizza Bike? Aman smiles and says yes.
Kanha says sorry for scolding him that day.
Aman says it’s okay, you didn’t even know me at that time.
Kanha says she needs a friend more than her brother right now.
Aman says I promise I will keep my friendship. I will make her laugh again… just like before.
Aman leaves.

Mukta at her home thinking about Nani’s version of Ichha/Tapu story. Gets angrier and angrier thinking about Nani’s poisonous words. She had a cup in her hand and smashes it on something (gets so angry!).
Nani muttering to herself… says I try to do something good for this family and always become bad.
Jogi doesn’t realise this world is bad, and to survive in this you have to become bad yourself.
She comes to Mukta’s room and sees her there. Asks her why she isn’t in college today?
Mukta says everyone is going on a study tour today… Nani says why are you not going then?
Mukta stays quiet and nani says are you nervous facing that makkhi again?
The storm that’s in your heart right now, would be in her heart as well.
You cannot be afraid being Tapasya’s daughter.
Mukta says no, I just don’t feel like going there today.
Nani insists that Mukta goes to the study tour, saying that the ‘makkhi’ won’t come today.
Nani leaves.
Doorbell rings, Mukta answers and is handed a parcel in her name.
She opens it and there’s a beautiful watch inside a red box.
She reads the card:
To the most beautiful girl in this world, a small gift.
See you at the study tour.
She thinks it must be Aman and smiles. Says Thank You to Aman.
She sees Nani and hides the watch behind her… she says Nani I’ve thought I shouldn’t be scared anyone and go to the study tour.
Nani is happy.

Jogi comes to Damini’s house. Kanha asks him to come inside. Jogi asks for Damini and Kanha says they’re out.

Bus stops at some place (the study tour people get off).
Yuvraj, Mukta, and everyone get off the bus.
Professor tells the students not to disturb the ‘sadhu’s that are doing their pooja.
Mukta’s worried that Aman’s late.
Her friends ask her the time she tells them. They admire the watch and ask how much it cost? Mukta says it was a gift and you should never ask the price of a gift. They tease her asking who gave it to her and she says it is someone and smiles.
They ask if she’s coming with them. She says I’m waiting for someone. They tease her and go away.
Mukta’s looking at the watch and smiling. Yuvraj passes her and thinks “she likes my gift, that’s good… it’s a start”. Mukta is thinking about Aman.

Jogi is angry at Kanha that why did Damini/Ichha hide such a big thing from Meethi? Answer me.
He says you don’t know what has happened. Mausiji has told Meethi/Mukta everything. She must have exaggerated a lot.
Kanha is shocked to know… that Meethi found out everything.
Jogi says yes she has been told.

Second bus arrives at the place. Aman gets out of it. Aman/Mukta smile at each other. Mukta’s still looking at her watch and smiling.
Aman says look who’s here and Meethi comes down from the bus.
Meethi is sad but tries to give a smile while Mukta is not very happy to see her.
They both say hi to each other half-heartedly.
Mukta asks Aman why was he in Juniors’ bus?
Mukta asks him to come with her and holds his hand to pull him… the same time Aman holds Meethi’s hand to pull her and it becomes a chain. Meethi is trying to stop Aman.

Back to Jogi/Kanha. Jogi is again wondering why they hid such a big thing? Kanha says Mayya didn’t want her daughter to know that she went to jail for murder. Jogi says that wasn’t the case… but Kanha says the court had made her a criminal.
Mayya had to take such a big step to save Meethi from being taunted as being a murderer’s daughter.
Mayya didn’t even let anyone know she was Veer’s daughter. She kept Meethi’s name as “Meethi Bharti”.
Mayya tried to get rid of her past from the roots.

Aman/Mukta/Meethi in a cave like thing. Aman says this place is weird… looks like thousands of secrets are buried in here. I like the beauty but I don’t want to go out too. It’s weird.
Mukta tries to move her hand here and there and says there are more beautiful things here than the place that you haven’t noticed.
He says yes it’s nice (thinking she’s asking about the earrings). Then she says I was talking about the watch. He says that’s also nice.
