Scene 1
Adit drops the rice. Sanjana says Krthik created problems in them. Mangal says this is just a custom. Karthik and Lakshmi both are so wiese they can fight all the problems together. Kusum gives Lakshmi blessings. She says to always make this house like your sister. Lakshmi hugs Mangal and cries. Mangal says I just want you to stay happy here. You are the Lakshmii of this house. I pray your bond with Karthik only strengthens. Adit says Mangal will you stop crying and this drama now? We are all waiting outside. Mangal says to Lakshmi that a woman’s strength is her self-respect, don’t compromise on it. She hugs her.

Gayatri brings Lakshmi to her room. She says this is your room now. Nidhi says it’s bigger than her whole house. sanjana says if it’s cold you can turn off the AC. You aren’t used to it. Gayatri asks them to leave. She says don’t worry about them, Lakshmi. They talk too much. Be comfortable. I will send Karthik. She gives her phone to her.

Mangal is happy that Lakshmi is happy in her house. Akshad and Ishana come. Akshad says Ishana hid something from you. She had to submit a project tomorrow but she didn’t even start it. Mangal says why? She says it was Lakshmi’s wedding. Mangal says you could have asked me I’d help. She says od you even know what a solar system is? We don’t have to make pickles, it’s a project. Kusum says Ishana you can’t talk to your mom like that. She says I will take help from Papa. Kusum says he’s busy with office work. She asks Mangal to help the kids with homework. Scene 3
Lakshmi recalls what Karthik said. Mangal makes Ishana’s project. Mangal calls Lakshmi. Lakshmi is crying. MAngal asks were you busy? She says I am sitting in Karthik’s room. Mangal says that’s your room as well. She asks is everything is good. Gayatri and Karthik care so much about you. You are so lucky. Lakshmi cries. She says Karthik is here, I will talk later.

Karthik comes inside in anger. he throws away all the decorations. Lakshmi says please let me talk. He says I won’t talk to you. She says for how long? He says all my life. Mangal make the project. She says I remember making this in my school too. Karthik says we will have to pretend in front of the whole world to be husband and wife. Lakshmi says I am sorry. He says why did you do this to me? You knew everything. I wish I had run away that day but you stopped me and gave me hope. You’re very clever. You ruined my life, You played this game with me. you didn’t even tell her. SHe was asking constantly. She said she’d support me. But you didn’t talk to her. You broke my trust and Mangal’s trust will be broken as well. Lakshmi says I didn’t tell her because fo her. Karthik asks what do you mean? She recalls what Adit said. Lakshmi cries. Karthik says don’t test my patience. He says I won’t fall for your games now.

Gayatri comes to Jiya’s house in herr room. It’s all decorated. Jiya is there. Gayatri says what is all this? She says the decor is pretty and fresh right? just like my and Karthik’s love. She says we imagined our wedding night just like this. Lakshmi says I was helpless. I wanted to tell Mangal everything. She cries. She says it was too late till I found out the truth. I went to talk to her but saw the happiness on her face. She saved every penny for this wedding. I couldn’t break her heart like that. I couldn’t shame her in front of everyone. So I couldn’t be selfish. We only thought about ourselves not everyone else’s. Guys can take these decisions but girls can’t. Their hands are tied. I couldn’t break the weddings like that. Our worlds aren’t the same. I was always called a curse. Didi kept crying. She cries and says I couldn’t do it. I tried but I couldn’t. If think about didi you will get angry, if I think about you Mangal’s heart will break. I don’t care about myself. I’ve never had parent’s love. But breaking this marriage would have ruined so many relations. Everyone would have been mad at her. I couldn’t do that to her. Karthik wipes her tears and says I am so sorry. I understand your troubles.

Jiya says you will get us married right? Gayatri says of course. Jiya hugs her and says I miss Karthik a lot. Gayatri says just be patient. It’s not that easy. I will get Karthik and Lakshmi divorced and then I will get you married to him. I promise. Jiya records everything. She says no one can take Karthik away from me.

Karthik says I did so bad to you. I made you cry so much. I was selfish. I couldn’t see your pain. I was only concerned about myself. I didn’t know your circumstances. She says it’s not your fault neither mine. It’s just circumstances. She says what will we do now? Karthik says to have water for now. He says we have to live with whatever happened.
