The detective is looking into the Luthra Mansion when Shaurya comes to the front gate and noticing him sits in the car with the detective asking who is he and what is he doing, the detective tries to refuse everything however Shaurya says that neither is he an idiot nor should the detective think of him, the detective says he was just looking at the house behind that of Luthra Mansion as Mr Singh is suspicious of his wife, Shaurya asks the detective to keep an eye on his father and bring him the proof of what his father is doing against his mother, Shaurya assures he will get a lot of money to which even the detective agrees.
In the night Preeta gets out of the auto along with Palki and Shanaya, Preeta asks them both to rest while come to the Mehandi, Rajveer comes asking of it, Palki reveals that tomorrow is the Mehandi function of Kavya, Preeta says Nidhi gave her the responsibility for the function of Kavya, saying that she can do whatever Nidhi would have done as a mother, Rajveer asks the reason, Shanaya says that Nidhi asked so preeta jee agreed, when preeta mentions she told them that Nidhi asked her as she is not well, Preeta says Nidhi gave her the position of the mother, Rajveer replies that she already has the place, Preeta questions what is he saying, Rajveer says that she is his mother and he has the right so is asking her what is the need to go there, Preeta replies that she feels Kavya is just like her daughter and she wants to do it from herself, Palki asks Rjaveer why is he so defensive when Shanaya also explains no one forced Preeta je but Rajveer refuses to allow her saying she should stop, Preeta asks why is he asking her to stay away when they are so nice people, Rajveer explains he is her son so should listen to her but this is different, Preeta asks what is his problem when they are so nice people, Rajveer says even she is not well so should rest, Palki asks if he trusts her assuring she would take good care of Preeta, Rajveer wonders how can he tell them that when she gets to know the truth then no one would be able to take care of her, Preeta asks Palki and Shanaya to rest saying they would meet in the morning, she leaves with Rajveer.
Gautham asks Roma what was the need to go to the Luthra Mansion as it has caused a very big issue, when Roma says he does not know the way Luthra’s behaved with them as it might cause a very big problem but Gautham asks her to stop when she says he is the one who started it, Varun coming down the stairs thanks his mom as she saved him from so much trouble because if she had found out that the relation is not happening then he would have gotten in a big trouble, Gautham tells Varun it is very important that he marries Kavya, Roma says they would do anything to get him married, Varun asks if she would have gone to sleep, Roma says she forgot to tell him but she asked her to inform him that he needs to talk with her.
Kavya is sitting in her room when Shaurya comes asking if she is fine, Kavya replies that if Nidhi mom and papa are fine then she is okay, Shaurya replies she asked about her and explains he does not know how to hold a conversation but just that Kavya asked Varun to postpone the wedding which angered the mother of Varun then she came and caused the scene but Nidhi mom said everything is fine, Shaurya asks if she is okay, Kavya replies she was worried about the health of Nidhi mom but now everything is fine, Shaurya says that he is going to leave, she thanks him which makes him irritated and so he tells her that she should always come to him whenever there is any problem, Kavya hugs Shaurya.
Daljeet gets excited explaining that the Mehandi of Kavya is happening and she can even say that they should arrange the function of Shanaya and Shaurya, Daljeet says she has a problem as she would have to make new clothes of Dadi, Palki says she cannot understand her mother because she was ordering them to not meet the Luthras a while ago when karan Luthra got arrested but now is suggesting they should arrange the function of Shanaya and Shaurya, Daljeet says there are four seasons in the year and so she also changes, she explains that she is just selfish for her daughters. She informs she is very angry because Shanaya did not defend her with palki, Shanaya says she knew that Daljeet was wrong in this case so is siding with Palki, when Daljeet angrily enters the room saying that she should not follow her, Palki and Shanaya ask her to open the door but Daljeet says that she does not want to see their face however is not going to try and commit suicide.
Rakhi coming to Karina asks if she heard what happened, explaining Nidhi gave the responsibility of the function to Preeta, Karina questions what is going on with Nidhi as there is no need to involve the therapist in their house hold matters as it is wrong, Mahesh coming explains that if Nidhi has taken the step then it would be after due consideration, but Rakhi says even if Nidhi has a problem then should have asked her or Karina Di but she gave them to Preeta, Mahesh replies he knows they both are thinking.
Rajveer is furiously standing in the room when Mohit comes so Rajveer explains that his mother is going to the house of the Luthra’s in order to arrange the function of Kavya, which he caused a lot of tensions to hi, as on one side is the Luthra family while at the other is the office, Mohit questions what is he hiding but Rajveer replies he is tired so wants to rest, Mohit leaves while Rajveer starts looking at the call of Mr Panday.
Nidhi asks Rakhi mom what is the problem when Rakhi questions what is she doing knowing what has happened as Nidhi took care of this house for the past twenty five years and now is inviting the problems to their house by giving Preeta the chance to come here, Nidhi says what is wrong with it as she tried a lot to keep Preeta out of this house but nothing worked and she has decided to not do anything wrong as Karan has kept Preeta in his life, she says that Preeta is also the mother of Kavya and would do the best for her, she says that she knows nothing would be wrong, Rakhi replies she will not go against her but she should ask her if there is anything needed for it. Nidhi is worried.
In the morning preeta enters the house asking the workers why are they so late as the function is about to happen very soon, Rakhi coming asks preeta to not take so much attention in the function as Nidhi gave her the responsibility otherwise she is not a family member but an outsider, preeta replies there is no need to make her know it, Rakhi replies that preeta should just accept what she is told otherwise she might make things worse so what is she doing, preeta asks if Rakhi wants then she will leave so Rakhi asks what does Preeta want her to say as if she leaves then the entire blame would be on her head, Rakhi says preeta should do what she is told and never forget her place in this house, Rakhi angrily walks leave while Karan is stunned, he walks close to her when Preeta says that his mom is very nice but she feels that his mother is upset with her due to something, so she can see it clearly. Preeta asks why is his mother angry with her, karan is not able to answer.
Nidhi waking up rests her head against the bed but after seeing the time gets worried so tries to get up from the bed, Karina entering the room asks if she is fine, Nidhi apologizes saying she got late and feels it is due to the medicines so she has to go, Karina informs she met Bhabhi who was upset due to Preeta, Nidhi is glad that Preeta came on time, Karina asks how can Nidhi trust the therapist so much as it might make her lose something precious, Nidhi says Preeta can never get what belongs to her, Karina mentions if the door is kept open the then thief would take everything that is present without worrying for the owners, Nidhi says she desired to make Karan her own for which she did a lot but now does not have any possessiveness as she is still alone today, Karina informs they all used to hate her as she was very rude and possessive so now they all love her a lot which is why she has the love of the entire Luthra family, Nidhi says she thought about it as by doing good something nice might happen to her, Nidhi hugs Karina.
Preeta tells Karan she did not notice it for the first time but ever since she came for the treatment of Dadi as she does not want her to come here or that she is angry due to something, Karan starts thinking of the warnings of his mother when Preeta asks if he heard it, she says she wants to actually know it as then she might try to cheer her up and change the behavior, Karan says they cannot forget their past as for some people the past does not have any importance in the present which is not true for everyone, Preeta gets worried hearing it.
