Scene 1
Ashok tells Kaurwaki that he plotted all this, he wanted her to go to Sushim and rat me out. Kaurwaki says you played me. Devi says Ashok is intelligent, he trapped Sushim and he fell down, Ashok won this throne without spending or bribing anyone, he deserves it. Ashok leaves with Devi.
Sushim is threatening the soldier who he gave the order to send out letters to the ministers. He says you were bribed by Ashok and changed my letters. The soldier says he threatened me. Sushim says now you will work for me and pretend like you are on Ashok’s side, do as I say.
Sushim calls Kaurwaki and says I called you here for an important discussion.
Sushim’s soldier Utuk comes to Ashok and says you told me to spy on Sushim so I want to tell you something.
Kaurwaki tells Sushim that I told you what I saw, I didn’t know what Ashok was planning in real. Sushim says its tine, I called you here to talk about us. He holds her and says why do you care about me so much? I know you like me as much as I like you, I know you have feelings for me. Kaurwaki pushes him away and says don’t you dare, I am someone’s wife. Sushim says don’t forget that if Ashok didn’t cheat you then you would have been my wife now. I want to do everything with you as a husband then, you are my prey. He pins her to the wall but Ashok comes there and pulls him away, he shouts how dare you touch my wife? he beats him up,

The doctor treats Sushim, Dayana is worried about him but Sushim says these wounds are nothing in front of the pain I have given to Ashok. Helena says he should be punished for hurting Sushim, our one wound will make him pay for everything he has done against us. Sushim asks what should I do? Helena says don’t do anything, I will take care of Ashok and break him down.
Anandi hugs Pawan and says I am so happy today. Pawan pulls away and says I don’t want to hide our love, I am going to talk to Ashok about our love and then make it official.
Kaurwaki tells Ashok that I hate you but I would never stoop that low, I am an honorable person and would never cheat on you. Ashok locks her in a cell and says you are so selfish, you don’t care who you are hurting. I knew you were on Sushim’s side, you couldn’t marry him so you are having an affair with him? I will never allow anyone else touch my wife. Kaurwaki says you are wrong. Ashok shouts that the mistake was meeting you. Kaurwaki shouts that you are a curse on everyone, you cursed your parents and now me. I am cursing you today that you were born alone and you will die alone, you will have a painful death and no one will be there for you.
Scene 2
Ashok comes to Devi and says I locked Kaurwaki in the cell. I caught her with Sushim, he was touching her. Devi says why do you care if he was touching her? Ashok says she is my wife. Devi says you married her for your sister so if she is having an affair then what’s wrong? Ashok says I can’t believe my wife is having thoughts like these, he angrily leaves. Devi is angry and says Kaurwaki has taken away all my happiness, he says he hates her but his life revolves around her.
Helena comes to Ashok and says you are going to be a king soon so you should know all the secrets. I saw Anandi today with someone. Ashok asks who was it? Helena says she is our daughter but I saw her with the person who is very close to you, it was Pawan with Anandi. I can advice you to not trust anyone blindly now that you are a king. She leaves.
Chanakya comes to Kaurwaki’s cell, she says Ashok must have sent you. He says I came here to free you, you don’t understand Ashok. He did all this with you because he loves you a lot. Kaurwaki says this is not love but torture, he doesn’t have a heart. Chanakya says you need to understand why he became bitter, what are the reasons that made him so bitter. He never got love from his family so he can never give anyone love. I will show you how Ashok became so cruel. Kaurwaki says this must be Ashok’s plan.
