Shishupal asks if Shamla does not have fear that she has come to meet Bhim Rao, he warns that she would be killed by the people of the upper class some day, he says she does not have to come here from tomorrow, Shishupal even asks Bhim to warn Shamla but she replies she has already told him that she cannot leave meeting Bhim as he is her brother, Shishupal asks Shamla to return back home while he will bring the vegetables, Bhim Rao praises Shamla saying she has won the first battle, Shamla does not understand when Bhim explains if there is care for someone then they tend to win, Shamla asks why would Shishupal care for her, Bhim says if he was the old Shishupal then would have pulled her back but he left however Shamla says Shishupal is very cold hearted, Bhim leaves advising Shamla to continue fighting.
The manager is giving the wage to the employees who are standing in the line, when Lakshmi and Rama enter so the manager asks them to even take their wages, he says that Lakshmi has the highest position amongst the workers so would get the highest pay, he even gives the wage to Rama while then calls Karuna, he asks if she does not feel shame to get the lower wage as compared to Lakshmi when she is the eldest, Karuna replies she keeps them both in their limit but over here did not get the chance, she thinks she is humiliated a lot due to Bhim Rao.
Bhim asks Sethji if he can enter, when he says that even Bhim should take his wage, he then purposefully throws the coin on the floor demanding that Bhim should pick it up, everyone in the office is laughing after which Sethji jee takes the second coin which he once again throws on the floor, and does it again forcing Bhim Rao to kneel down and pick it up. Sethji asks what did he learn, that he kept picking each coin while kneeling in front of them, Bhim appreciates him for the coin but Sethji asks what did he learn, he says that those who have money can force such people to bow down in front of them and he must learn to bow before the wealthy. Bhim says he understood that people of lower class should also fight for their self respect while people like Sethji would keep humiliating them, Sethji says Bhim should also understand that he would keep fighting like this and die without making any difference, Bhim replies that the future generations would be different and people from his class might get ahead of him however would not treat people of upper class in this manner. Sethji replies when his son was young, he kept insisting to touch the moon but it was never fulfilled, Bhim replies they would insist on getting the right and surely attain it, he informs the son of Sethji made just one mistake by standing on the ground trying to think of reaching the moon.
Bhim goes to sit on the floor to start the work, Sethji says that Bhim feels he would be able to free the people of his class while working for a few hours, Bhim replies he would surely attain it.
Shamla is working in the kitchen when Shishupal bring a bag full of vegetables, he says he did not know of her liking so brought all of them, he hesitantly asks which vegetable does she like, she replies he does not consider her as his wife then would he do by knowing what she likes, Shishupal says that he has made a mistake by asking her and would not do it again, he turns to leave when Shamla informs she likes the lady fingers, Shishupal starts smiling. Meghnat entering the kitchen tells Shamla that women in this house have to live according to the men and only eat what their husbands like, without having any importance to their own desires, he angrily throws all of the lady fingers on the floor. Shamla looks at Shishupal demanding that he should tell his wife, Shishupal says that Baba is right as this house belongs to him, Meghnat asks then on whose desires would the house run either him or Shishupal, he leaves saying that according to the desires of Meghnat. Shamla is standing when Meghnat asks her to also throw out Bhim Rao from her heart then she might get a chance to live here otherwise just as he had ousted his wife from this house then would even throw Shamla, she thinks that if she makes lady finger it would cause a lot of problem but she will not throw it, Shamla thinks of cleaning the lady finger, which she will cook and send to the office of Rama.
Rama while working in the office is thinking of what happened in the house when the slipper fell on her head and Phulari swear on the life of Jaggu that they would never take any help from Bhim Rao. Lakshmi coming asks if the work has finished since they have to leave, she asks Rama why is she crying but she refuses so Lakshmi requests her to say it, Rama hesitantly tells Lakshmi that when her Aai was about to die she was crying a lot but then her Aai asked her to not cry as she is a daughter so would have two mothers, when she will get married so would get the other mother but she was very young so did not understand anything, and when she realized it but got the Aai like Jija Bai who hid her slipper. Rama asks how can someone who they consider as Aai do such a thing, Rama keeps crying when lakshmi hugs her saying she must calm down. Lakshmi tells they donot get love due to any relation but when the hearts of two people meet, Aai does not consider them both as her own so the person who thinks of them would love them, she suggests they would go back after completing the work.
Karuna angrily coming to sit on the bed think s no matter what Lakshmi and Rama do in the office, she will be the elder of this house and things would work according to her desires, Jija Bai asks Karuna why did she come back early, she replies because her heart was not there, she informs that the manager gave them wage today and he not only gave Lakshmi a higher wage but even humiliated her, Jija Bai asks why did he do it, Karuna replies who knows he might have started to like her body, Meera angrily enters telling Karuna to not be so evil because she had loved Lakshmi and lived like her sister but she should not be so evil that when the things get better she is not able to even look at Lakshmi, Karuna gets worried.
