Meera apologizes to Ramji requesting that he should allow her to leave as she cannot stay here any longer, Ramji asks where is she going to go, if is there anyone else she can call her own in this world besides him so he tells Meera that she should not think like it, she should fight with anyone who stands in front of her but she must stay in this house till he is alive, he explains they can bear the fight and quarrels but would not be able to bear if she leaves, he says they are the elders of this house so have to protect it from the arguments of the children, if she accepts defeat then who would give him the courage. He gets up and requests her to not cry assuring them everything will be fine, he helps Meera stand up and then gives her the sticks to help her go back to the house. Lakshmi is also searching for the slippers, Ramji asks Rama what is she searching for, and she replies she cannot find the slippers and so asks Bua who replies she did not see them. Rama then asks Jija Bai and Karuna if they have seen it but they both refuse saying they did not see it, Karuna says she even feels to not seen Rama, Ramji mentions that she should just say what was asked when Karuna suggests that she suggests they should all search for it, Lakshmi says there is a need to look if things are lost but if they are kept hidden then what can anyone do, Karuna questions if Lakshmi is still blaming her but then Jija Bai asks her to sit down, Lakshmi suggests they both would go to work without wearing the slippers just like the old times and if anyone has to learn something from it then should try to think, they both leave while Karuna and Jija Bai start smiling.

Shamla is working in the kitchen when Meghnat thinks that she should live here for a day or two but he should just win the confidence of his son after which he will make sure as women tend to burn in the fire, he exclaims he knows how to make women run from the house but he just has to win the competition tonight after which the sister of Bhim would fail.

In the night Bhim is studying when Rama slowly comes behind him so he asks why is she standing and should sit down, she asks how he knows it when he says he is her husband so knows it, Bhim asks why she walking like this, and asks her to sit down but Rama replies there is nothing when he demands she should lift the feet refusing to drink the milk, Bhim gets worried seeing her feet so asks how did it happen, Rama informs how she was not able to find one of her slippers while going to work and then she along with Lakshmi didi went to work without wearing the slippers, he asks what was the need to do it all so leaves, she asks where is he going but he asks her to sit down. Bhim returns with a small pot and demands to touch the feet, she says she would be sinned but he demands to hold the feet which he starts massaging with his own hands, so she can be relieved of some of the pain. Rama is just staring at him, he informs him he met Shamla in the morning, and hearing what she said has made him even more tense, he informs that Meghnat agreed to stay in the cold and if he can prove it then they would not win this fight, she then got emotional revealing she would otherwise lose her husband when she has already lost her parents. Bhim says he is not able to understand why is life so emotional for women because Shamla was prepared to run but is now saying she cannot live without her husband. Rama and Bhim both pray that Meghnat should lose today as then someone like Shamla would live in the house which is good for them both. Bhim Ten demands the other foot on which he is applying the oil.

Meghnat is shivering from the cold while lying down on the bed, he then sits up to be a bit warm before once again lying down. Meghnat wonders how would he fall asleep and thinks of what he can do, he then thinks of a plan and exclaims they all would be asleep so he can bring the cloth and sleep peacefully. Meghnat walks to the house.

Shamla is sleeping on the floor but after a while, she slowly wakes up, she thinks that he is her father in law who is also old, so she cannot let him suffer even when she desires that the person named Meghnat should lose but does not desire that her father in law should get ill. Shamla then covers herself with a cloth and gets up. Meghnat meanwhile has already brought a cloth from his house, he thinks that no one has even seen him so he sleeps peacefully while in the morning would places the cloth back in the house, he while smiling exclaims he is Meghnat and even Shamla understands who she has set a condition with. Meghnat is shocked to see Shamla standing in front of him, she recalls how Bhim said that Meghnat would surely make a mistake which she must wait for. Shamla mentions she brought this cloth for her as she is his daughter-in-law and cannot watch him shivering but he is already wearing it, Meghnat asks then what would happen if he brought the cloth, what is wrong with it, no one can show love by staying in the cold as he knew this is the plan of Shamla, he just did it because even Shishupal got emotional which would have been successful however who knows why she came in between it. Meghnat explains he knows she is planning to tell Shishupal, that she can do it all however he would sleep peacefully. Meghnat lies down covering his body, Shamla pleads with him to listen to her, she says she would not tell Shishupal however he should just place it in the room before he wakes up because if he sees his father like this then it would break the trust of a son. Meghnat is shocked, Shamla says she does not desire it as her parents broke their relationship, and she does not desire the same for him which is why she will not tell him the truth, Meghnat is unaware of the fact that Shishupal is standing behind the trees.

Bhim is still massaging when Rama asks him to stop, he then goes to place the chair in the corner, Rama reminds him of the milk and then looks at Bhim asking to look at his hand when he asks the reason, sh says even he would be working since the morning so she starts massaging it while he is studying. Rama says they would only find out in the morning if Shamla won the competition or not, Bhim replies this is why he is also waiting for the morning, he keeps drinking the milk
