The episode starts with Parvati asking Kritikas what they want to do. Surupa says what they didn’t till now, lie to their son so that that he stays with Shiv and Parvati in kailash. Parvati asks what kind of a lie. Kartikeya target practices. A Kritika walks to him and informs that Surupa is missing. Kartikeya goes in search of Surupa. Kritika feels guilty for lying to him and thinks it’s for his betterment. Kartikeya returns to kailash searching for Surupa. Surupa notices him coming and says they don’t love Kartikeya and want the reward Parvati had promised them to upbring Kartikeya. Surupa says Kartikeya doesn’t know that they bought him up for money and not out of love. She insists Parvati to give their proper reward as they had to work hard to show their fake love towards Kartikeya. Kartikeya shatters hearing that and walks away from there.
Parvati asks them to stop as their motto is fulfilled. They all cry. Parvati says they not only broke Kartikeya’s heart, but also made him not believe anyone in life again. She asks Mahadev to do something. Narad tells Narayan that there is a problem in kailash. Narayan says its a struggle to show off their repsonbilities. Kartikeya walks into jungle crying and recalls Kritikas’ confession. He breaks down and shouts to vent out his sorrow. Kartikeya says he considered his mothers as everything, but didn’t know that he couldn’t make them truly love him; he failed as a son; all he saw was an illusion.
Shiv walks to him and comforts him. He says sometimes what they see is not true; a mother can betray his mother, but a mother will never betray her son; using bad words against his mother is a big sin, etc. Narayan says that is why Mahadev is special and his devotees should understand that. Saraswati asks Narayan what will Kritikas do now. Narayan says whatever happens, the end result would be pleasant.
Kritikas pray Agni dev to embrace them. Fire surrounds them. Kartikeya is to see that and asks what are they doing. Surupa says they are not only his mother but also his teacher who gave him immense knowledge throughout his life; they tried to teach him the value of responsibility towards his parents and asked him to stay with them, but he disobeyed them; they want to give him a final lesson of responsibility before sacrificing themselves into Agni Dev. Parvati requests Mahadev to stop agni dev. Mahadev lifts his trishul. Kartikeya requests Kritikas to stop and agrees to fulfill their wish. He lifts his bow and arrow and accepts that responsibility is more important than personal choice; agni dev arrived on their request; his responsibility is to stay with his parents in Kailash and he will fulfill it. He takes oath that he will call devi Parvati as his mother from hereon.
Precap: Shiv asks Parvati to go and wipe his son’s tears. Parvati says Kartikeya has respect for her but doesn’t consider her as mother. Kartikeya holds her hand calling her maa. Parvati hugs and comforts him. Diti orders Shankarasur and Bhasmasur to kill Kritikas when they enter water.
