Atal 6th December 2023 Written Episode
The episode starts with Atal telling school principal that it’s wrong to change or disrespect someone’s trust. Principal says he is right, even school has it’s rules and they have to follow it. Atal says that is right, but they can’t disrespects other’s morales. Serial’s title track plays in the background. Bell rings. Principal asks Atal and other kid to go and give their tests. Atal greets him and leaves with the other boy. He calls teacher Mr Dayal and asks who is that boy. Dayal says it’s Kaushal. Principal says Kaushal and Atal. Daya thinks Atal will face consequences for confronting English principal. Atal’s entrance exam starts. Teacher informs students that they have only 1 hour to complete their entrance test. British students laugh on India students and taunt them that they don’t have give entrance test, but Indian students have to give entrance test. Teacher reminds Indian students that they need to finish test in an hour.
Atal’s mother Krishna maa stiches a shirt and bag for Atal and asks her DIL/Awadh’s wife who is it. DIL says it’s good. Awadh questions his mother that they all studied in schools but were never given special treatment, then why is Atal given special treatment and sent to an English school. Krishna maa says they did whatever they could according to the situation that time. Awadh says situation isn’t good even now, how will babuji pay Atal’s English school fees. Krishna maa says that is his problem, why is Awadh getting jealous of his brother.
Atal’s Dadaji asks Krishna maa to prepare sweets as Atal would be coming after clearing entrance test and getting English school admission. Awadh says he is so confident about Atal. Atal’s test finishes. Teacher informs principal that Atal and Kaushal both have cleared entrance test. Results are around. Atal’s father Krishna Pandit checks results and finds Atal passed the exam. He congratulates Atal. Atal sees Kaushal crying and asks reason. Kaushal says he gave all answer right, but they failed him. Atal says it’s wrong, he will ask principal to show his answer sheets. Kaushal’s father says it’s waste as he already pleaded them to show papers, but they didn’t and are not giving any reason. Krishna pandit tells Atal that they shouldn’t interfere in school’s decisions and takes him away. They notice freedom fighters chanting a slogan that they will not let Bhagat Singh be hanged. Atal asks who is Bhagat Singh. Krishna asks him not to pay attention to them and concentrate on his studies.
They pass by a barber shop. Krishna’s muslim friend asks if Atal passed the test. Krishna says yes. Muslim friend says they knew that he would obviously pass the test as everyone prayed for him, Atal would get admission anywhere he wants to as he is too good in studies. Krishna drives bicycle away. His rival badmouths about Atal. Others shut his mouth warning him to stop showing his enmity towards Krishna. Krishna and Atal return home and inform family that Atal passed the test. Dadaji says he knew it and asks to prepare halwa at home and not buy store sweets.
Atal sees a woman’s house being burnt and she crying to spare her son. He asks what happened to her son and why her house is burnt. Woman says her son is arrested for supporting Bhagat Singh and their house is burnt, Britishers kill whoever opposes them as they are slaves in their own country. Atal’s family enjoys halwa. Indian police officer Tomar walks to them and asks why are they celebrating. Krishna says Atal passed English school entrance test and got admission, so they are distributing sweets. He offers sweets to the officer. Tomar asks him to call Atal. Atal returns home lost in thoughts and asks Krishna maa who is Bhagat Singh. Everyone get afraid hearing that. Tomar asks Atal where did he hear about Bhagat Singh. Krishna says Atal is a kid and must have overheard Bhagat’s name. He take Atal from there. Tomar asks Dadaji if he thinks it’s a normal thing that his grandson is talking about freedom fighters. Dadaji says it’s normal as Bhagat Singh’s name is spreading everywhere like a storm; he aks to forget all this and have sweets. Tomar leaves. Neighbors thinks Atal did wrong by taking Bhagat Singh’s name in front of Tomar. Krishna Pandit asks Atal where had he gone and why he is talking about Bhagat Singh. Atal says he went to a locality where British soldiers burnt the houses and an old lady was saying they are Britishers’ slaves, he wants to know what slavery means.
Precap: British officer announces that Bhagat Singh will be hanged tomorrow morning. Freedom fighters plan to stop Bhagat Singh’s punishment. Atal asks his mother if they can somehow save Bhagat Singh.
