Neerja sees her childhood self and says remember how Protima left you in that room and you waited at that window for her and remembers how she ones saw protima in shiny saree but we didn’t believe because Protima would never lie to us but she did because she was Protima and she is pr*stitute just like all others. Few kids steal a toy and run away. Little Neerja says to Neerja, all kids here steal and do rubbish things but Protima made sure she brought me so well, I was the only one she sent to school.
Neerja remembers how Protima fought to give her a cultured upbringing. Neerja realizes how Protima always locked her and there was a reason she always kept her locked.

Little Neerja questions her older self about why Protima, despite doing good things, is considered bad for lying. Older Neerja explains that Protima’s lies were meant to protect them. Young Neerja then recites a poem they learned in school, celebrating Protima’s bravery and determination to provide a better life for Neerja.

As Neerja reflects on this, in Sonagachi, Didun suggests decorating Sonagachi to introduce Neerja to the brothel business. Just then, Sharmili arrives with shocking news – Protima has passed away, and she accuses Didun of being responsible. Didun asks Sharmili to explain the situation. Shobbarani arrives and informs them that the police received a call about Protima cutting her wrists and being rushed to the hospital. Didun rushes to the hospital, leaving Neerja astonished.

At the hospital, the doctor informs Didun that Protima has been saved. Didun, driven by her desire for revenge, decides not to let Protima die so easily for daring to attack her and causing Neerja pain.

Meanwhile, at Abeer’s house, Bijoy discusses Abeer’s growing closeness to Neerja with Moushmi. Bijoy mentions Abeer’s attempts to contact Neerja via video call. Moushmi reveals that she turned off Neerja’s phone because Abeer kept calling. Bijoy acknowledges that keeping Abeer away from Neerja upon his return won’t be easy and agrees with Moushmi’s suggestion of finding a suitable girl for Abeer. He plans to discuss it with Pishi Maa.

Back at the hospital, Neerja meets Protima and admonishes her for attempting suicide. She questions Protima’s strength, their relationship’s fragility, and declares that Protima is no longer “her” Protima. This revelation shocks Protima, who breaks into tears.

Neerja continues, stating that she now considers Protima her mother and emphasizes the sacrifices Protima made for her over the years. She recounts how Protima shielded her from Didun’s wrath and asks why Protima didn’t consider her own happiness and needs. Protima embraces Neerja, crying.
