The Episode starts with all the men of the house are standing infront of lohri wood. They wait for their wives to come. Aarav tells Vivaan that just as he sees Reema, he will fall. Vivaan says no chance. Reyansh says there is no confidence in your voice. They come inside, and see Badimaa dressed in Punjabi attire. They get happy and tells that she is looking very beautiful. Badimaa asks them to see their wives. Simar and Reema come downstairs. Both Aarav and Vivaan get bowled over by their beauty. Vivaan tells Aarav that he has slipped seeing Simar, like he was telling him. Chitra comes there. Giriraj gets happy and she makes him dance on his tune. Aarav and Vivaan give compliment to Chitra. Gajendra misses Sandhya. Sandhya comes there and asks if he was really missing her, and if her eyes sparkled seeing her. He says yes. Everyone coughs. Badimaa asks Sandhya how is her mother? Sandhya says her mother is fine now and asks maa, if you are not happy. Badimaa says I am very happy. Simar hugs Sandhya. Aarav says welcome back Maa. Chitra says all the rasams will happen according to the rules. Giriraj says lets go out.
They come out. badimaa does the puja. Aditi comes and greets Sandhya and others. Badimaa prays to Agnidev and asks him to keep them united and happy always. She says keep my family’s beautiful jodis united. She asks them to do the parikrama. Aarav and Simar take the rounds around the lohri fire. Simar prays for Aarav. Sandhya thanks the God for giving her honest life partner. Others also complete the rounds. Badimaa asks if they are old, and asks if she shall only play the dhol. Vivaan asks someone to play the dhol. They begin dancing.
Later Sandhya, Chitra, badimaa, Reema and Simar do puja of surya dev. Badimaa prays to Surya devta to keep her family united. Simar says it is very bright today. Reema says yes, and that’s why I have applied double sunscreen lotion. Everyone laughs. Badimaa says days will be long now and night will be short. She says it is new start as the fields are harvested after sankrant.
Badimaa asks Sandhya if she kept all the plates ready and tells Simar, Reema and Aditi that charity is very important today and says no Brahmin shall go empty stomach or empty hands today, they shall bless us before leaving. The Brahmins come there. One of the Brahmin senses something and stands outside. Badimaa asks all the Brahmins to accept the gift from them. The Brahmins accept the gift. The Brahmin standing outside, come inside and looks inside the house. Badimaa takes the plate and goes to the Pandit, and asks him to accept the gift. The Pandit ji apologizes to her and says I can’t accept this. Badimaa asks him to forgive them if they have done a mistake and says please accept this, it is from our heart. Pandit ji refuses. Badimaa says it is good deeds for us. Brahmin says I can’t earn bad deeds for your good deeds. He says if any Brahmin takes something from this house, then it will be sin. Aarav asks why? Badimaa also asks him to say. Pandit ji says your house is cursed.
Badimaa asks what you are saying, why it is cursed. Pandit ji says some of the family member have done wrong with someone, many years ago and one among you is guilty. Simar tells Pandit ji that he has some misunderstandings as everyone’s heart is good. Sandhya says this can be misunderstanding. Badimaa says my family is my pride. Pandit ji says it will break soon, as everyone has to bear. Gajendra looks sad as if he is guilty. Everyone looks shocked.
Precap: Gajendra tells Giriraj that the sin which that Brahmin was talking about was done by me. He says I have kept this secret for 25 years and says the secret shall not be out. Simar is serving food to the orphanage children and comes to a girl sitting inside.
