The Episode starts with Ahilya asking Gangoba how long will we suppress the women. He says I agree, someone has to work for the women empowerment, but this way isn’t right. Tukoji asks what’s the right way. Gangoba says right way is, Ahilya handles the Rajya by Malhar’s supervision and wins the opposition’s heart, she will get acceptance by the people also. Shinde asks why would anyone accept a widow’s command, what did you decide. Peshwa says Malhar can agree but Ahilya is stubborn. Shinde says we will go to the darbar and hear their decision then you give your decision. Peshwa says it will happen what I want, you just follow my order.

Ahilya says I don’t agree with Malhar today. Malhar asks what. She says yes, Gangoba isn’t wrong, Malhar is like a sun for us to guide us, a sun has no right to take rest, its wrong that a woman shouldn’t get the position, we have to change this mindset, but it doesn’t mean that Ahilya takes Malhar’s place, no. She explains Malhar.

Later, Ahilya gets the food for Malhar. She insists him to have food. He says you always get adamant. She says no, it was the need of the hour, Peshwa said right, Malwa people aren’t ready to accept me as the queen. Malhar says but I m ready, they aren’t able to see the future as I can see. She says I know, but it takes time for a widow to make a place in the society. He says you are talented to handle everything, they aren’t understanding.

He says I will sit on the throne, but you will take the decisions from now, just answer me with a yes then I will have food, else you may leave. She agrees and gets the food plate. He smiles. She says I promise, I will do what keeps your self esteem, have some food. He says I will have it, let me bless you first, stay happy. He sits to have food.

The landlords trouble the villagers who chant Ahilya’s name. They say chant our name also. The villager argues. The landlord Shamsher catches his neck and scolds him. They have a fight. Ahilya comes in the darbar. She sees something shocking.
