Gehna tells Jamuna that she is thinking if Suhani can really poison Surya. She says its clear that Sikandar wanted to kill Surya, but can a mother really try to kill her son. Jamuna says its possible if a mother doesn’t love her son like she loves her other kids. Gehna recalls Suhani and Sarika’s blood groups not matching with Surya’s blood group and says there is a chance that Suhani is not Surya’s biological mother. Jamuna says Suhani can do anything. Gehna recalls Suhani telling someone that Surya is not her biological son but then denying her words and showing Surya’s birth certificate. Jamuna says when a woman can think of killing her son, it’s easy to create a fake birth certificate. She asks how will they find out the truth. Gehna says via DNA test and over phone orders for a DNA test.
Jamuna notices someone near door and informs Gehna. Gehna checks and doesn’t find anyone. Jamuna asks again about DNA test. Gehna explains about it in detail. She then asks her to go home and silently collects Surya’s hair sample for DNA test. Surya opens eyes and holding her hand asks her to sit beside him. Gehna asks him if she really cares for him. Surya says he loved her, but she truly followed responsibility. He thanks her for saving his life and supporting him till now. He says he knows he hurt her family a lot and requests her again to forgive him. Gehna asks him not to feel guilty as she knows whatever he did is for his family. Surya says whatever Sikandar did is not right, but he is sure that Suhan loves Sikandar more than him, but cannot poison him. Gehna tries to explain. He says he knows she has issues with his family, but he needs to take care of his family and requests her not to doubt his mother as he immensely loves his mother and her self-respect is most important for him. She agrees and asks him to rest without bothering about these issues. She says his mother is like her mother and she knows the value of a mother in a child’s life. She makes him rest and thinks she needs to take Suhani and Sarika’s sample now.
Sarika asks Suhani how can she relax when Arjun and Sikandar are in jail. Suhani receives a parcel of poison with a receipt in Gehna’s name and tells Sarika that Surya consumed this poison, now she has to convince Surya that Gehna is behind everything. Sarika praises her plan and gets tensed seeing Gehna standing. Suhani asks Gehna what is she doing here. Gehna says she is the DIL of this house and doesn’t need anyone’s permission to enter the house. She further says she heard their conversation. At the hospital, nurse asks Praful to complete Surya’s discharge formalities. Someone looks at Surya, and when Surya checks, he doesn’t find anyone there. Gehna gets Suhani’s nail sample for DNA.
