Scene 1
Rajmata tells Radha that I am excited to eat Kashi’s food. She teases Baji to not eat a lot as he has to remain fit as a soldier. Radha tries to tell Baji that he doesn’t have to eat Kashi’s food. Baji thinks I can’t break another condition but how will I deny her food in front of Shahu.

Kashi is preparing dinner. Radha comes there and tells Kaviri that I will decide what will be served there. She thinks I won’t let Kashi break Baji’s conditions. She tells Kashi that you don’t know how to serve kings so you stay here. Rajmata comes there and says she will learn with time, she tells Kashi to live with honor, if your mother-in-law scolds you then tell me. Kashi says she is like my mother so she can scold me if she wants.

All sit to have dinner. Shahu eats dinner and says Kashi is delicious. Radha tries to hint at Baji about which food Kashi made. Rajmata notices it and asks if she wants to say something to Baji? She says no. Rajmata says Baji’s hand is injured so Kashi can help him eat. Kashi blushes and says me? Rajmata says don’t be shy, we are all family. Kashi sits with Baji and offers him food but Radha stops her and says it’s not needed Kashi, you must be tired. I want to make him eat with my hands like his mother. Kashi sadly gets up from there. Radha makes Baji eat food that Kashi didn’t cook. Shahu asks Baji why is he not eating other dishes? It’s my order to try all dishes, they are delicious. He asks Radha to make him eat that. Baji eats the food that Kashi made. Kashi thinks the whole universe is making me win.

Kashi and Ganga are dancing with women. They are all celebrating Baji becoming a Peshwa officially. Kashi dances with them. She imagines Baji coming there and playing the flute. She says you here? I didn’t know you liked music. He says why do you think that? Kashi says you were my friend but you have become a stone now. Baji says I still like music and Kashi. He pulls her closer and says can’t you see it in my eyes?.. Ganga taps on Kashi’s shoulder and asks her to stop daydreaming. Kashi sees someone keeping an eye on them and tries to check. She sees a spy walking there and hides. She thinks to tell about it to Baji.

Baji thinks about losing another condition to Kashi. Kashi comes to his room and tangles in curtains. baji grabs her and they both get tangled in curtains. Baji frees themselves and glares at her. He asks why are you here? I told you to not come here. Kashi says some spies have entered the palace. Baji sees some spies entering his room. Baji beats them and says Shahu. He goes to his room and starts fighting with the attackers. Baji sees an arrow attacking a spy who was about to kill him. He recalls how his well-wisher used to help him with arrows. He runs to find out who it is and finds Kashi running with arrows. He thinks my well-wisher was Kashi?
