Shera and Jai are headed inside. Jai asks Shera how they will inform Rakesh if he is getting married. They call Bittu so as to speak to Rakesh. Bittu looks at the mandap. I cannot give the phone right now. Shera tells him that Rajeev is alive and present in the wedding. Make me speak to Rakesh asap. Bittu recalls how Rakesh wasn’t limping earlier. I think the groom has been replaced. Shera asks him how that happened. Bittu replies that from the room in which the groom was waiting. Shera and Jai head to the room.
Bittu watches Rajeev and Parineet intently as Gurpreet does their gathbandhan. Parineet is smiling. Pundit ji asks the couple to stand up for pheras.
Shera and Jai come in the room. Shera checks the cupboard and they find Rakesh lying unconscious inside. Jai sprinkles water on Rakesh to wake him up. Shera asks Rakesh if he is fine. He holds his head in pain. Where’s Rajeev? Jai says he has taken your place in mandap. Shera tells Rakesh to calm down but Rakesh is furious. He starts throwing things angrily. He scolds Shera and Jai for not killing Rajeev. They tell him how Rajeev wasn’t willing to give up. Rakesh slaps him multiple times. I am here because of you guys. Shera tries to calm him but Rakesh pushes him. I will not spare either of you if Rajeev marries Parineet! Shera controls him. They call MLA who tells them to make sure Rakesh is able to marry Parineet at any cost. Helicopter is at the right place. Make sure they get married. Shera ends the call in shock. Rakesh slaps him repeatedly. This shouldn’t happen again! Shera nods. Rakesh wonders how to take Rajeev’s place again. Jai suggests using the same method that Rajeev did. Rakesh nods. He produced smoke. Now I will burn everything down! No one will be able to marry Parineet if I cannot marry her! He drapes a shawl on his face as he heads to the mandap with Jai and Shera.
Pheras begin. Rakesh tells Shera and Jai to pick up some stuff from the kitchen. Shera picks up kerosene while Rakesh lifts a matchbox. They enter in the main area. Rakesh looks at Parineet as he pours kerosene on the floor. Parineet notices him in the background and stops during her pheras. Shera has poured kerosene in the corridor above. Rajeev asks Parineet what happened. Parineet wonders how Rakehs got out of cupboard. What’s he doing here? Rakesh and Shera set the place on fire. Rajeev tells Monty to get everyone out safely.
Parineet and Rakesh are staring at each other. Bittu tells Rakesh’s men to get Rakesh. Vikram is sure Rakesh is responsible for the fire. They start evacuating the guests. MLA’s men take Rakesh safely out of there. He tells Bittu to let go of him. Bittu tells him to understand that Parineet will only marry Rajeev now. Rakesh murmurs that he wont understand it as he has never fallen in love. Bittu asks him if he loves Parineet. Rakesh denies. Vikram hurt my ego that day. She is the one thing I want desperately but I cannot! I don’t care whether she likes or loves me. I just want Parineet! I don’t care about you, mom, dad or anyone! She is my madness and passion. I will take her with me at any cost today! He walks away. Shera says he has lost his mind.
Family members help Beeji sit down and give her water. Everyone is clueless as to what happened and how. Vikram tries to douse the fire. Jaswant reports the fire to fire brigade. Mukhiya ji asks Jaswant how this could happen. Rajeev gives medicine to Nupur. Put it on the burns. He runs to his mother. Vikram takes Parineet aside. Make sure you don’t move even an inch. I met Shera a while ago and he said that Rakesh has lost his mind. Rajeev overhears it. It means they are here! Parineet asks Nupur about her mother but no one has seen her. Parineet says even Rajeev’s mother is not here. She tries to go inside but Vikram stops her. He tells her to let him check first. It isn’t safe to go inside. Gurinder comes out just then. Monty, Rajeev and his sister tend to her.
Rakesh peeks at Parineet. Vikram stops Parineet from going inside. Shera gives water to Rakesh. Are you fine? He nods. It is a lot of fun. See how everyone is running around! Shera pats at his head as he keeps pointing at everyone. I wanted to call off this wedding. It wont happen now! Shera asks him to come home now as his wish has been fulfilled but Rakesh refuses to budge. She looks beautiful when she is scared! Parineet goes inside stealthily.
Rakesh looks up but Parineet isn’t there. Where did she go? She was right here but now she isn’t! Shera asks him to come home with him but Rakesh isn’t keen. You should go home.
Gurinder asks about Gurpreet. I saw her in kitchen. Did she get out? Her daughter tells her that she must be here. Rajeev heads inside. Jaswant stops him. Rajeev runs inside when Jaswant gets busy on a call with the doctor.
Parineet keeps shouting for her mother. Gurpreet shouts from the kitchen. I am stuck here but you shouldn’t come here. Parineet breaks open the glass with a stick. She manages to open the door next. Rajeev is also inside the house now. He pours something on his feet to make sure he remains safe. Parineet wonders how she should go inside. She decides to use the back door. Gurpreet is having a hard time. She hides in a cupboard. Rajeev comes to the kitchen. She makes him sit in the cupboard as well. How did you get stuck here? He says I came here to rescue my Mummy ji. She smiles. I heard Parineet’s voice. Was I dreaming? Rajeev denies. You weren’t mistaken. She is here too. She cares a lot about you. It was she who realized that you are not outside. Mumma told me that you were in kitchen so I came here. Gurpreet is touched. We are really lucky to have found you. We got a son before Parineet’s marriage. God bless you with a long life. Rajeev reasons that they must get out of here quickly to make that happen. The fire is spreading quickly. She tells him to be careful. He starts looking for a way out. She prays for his well being and keeps asking him if he is fine. He tells her that he is fine. He finds an empty sack and wraps it around her. You are safe. He holds her as he helps her get out of their safely. Parineet notices something and is taken aback.
Precap: Parineet enters in kitchen. Where are you, mummy ji? Rajeev shouts at her to stay put. I am coming to you. Rakesh says I can do anything for you. He later tells Vikram that he hasn’t seen his madness yet. Just wait and watch. Vikram threatens him to stay put. I wont spare you otherwise. Later, Vikram hits Shera. Tell me where Rakesh is or I will burn you right here! Rakesh steps inside the kitchen and notices Rajeev and Parineet standing closely, lost in each other’s eyes.
