Shera tells Jai they need to bury Rajeev alive. Jai wants to kill him first. He can come back and cause trouble. Shera decides to follow Rakesh’s order word by word. They put Rajeev in a box.
Parineet sits in the mandap. Gurinder notices Rakesh and asks him about Monty. He makes him sit next to Parineet. Parineet thinks that everyone is thinking that I am marrying a nice guy but I am going to marry a devil. I wish Neeti was here. She would have saved me like every time! Pundit ji asks Gurpreet to do gathbandhan again. She reasons that it has been done already. He replies
Parineet thinks that she has finally understood why she was feeling lost earlier. She prays for Rajeev’s well-being.
Shera and Jai have dug some land. Jai goes to bring water for Shera as he is feeling thirsty. Shera sits on the box. He notices fire nearby and realizes that there are more people here apart than them. What’s going on there? His phone has no network when he checks it. He touches something by mistake.
Rakesh tells Parineet it is fun that no one is able to figure out who she is marrying. Your brother would be so angry afterwards! I will teach you how to be loyal first thing after marriage.
Shera drinks water. He drops his phone inside the box by mistake when he stands up. They bury the box quickly to avoid being seen by those who are partying nearby.
Parineet feels uncomfortable when her mother does her gathbandhan. Rakesh extends his hand upon askance. Parineet is told to keep her hand over his. She thinks of Rakesh’s warning and complies. She keeps it a little above his but he holds her hand. Bittu thinks that Rakesh might have 10 heads like Ravan. No one could figure out it’s him behind that sehra! Poor Rajeev got trapped. He had to die as this is what God wanted in the first place.
Shera and Jai are done. Shera says I have done a lot many bad things in life but I haven’t done anything like this before. Jai says now that’s done too.
Monty tells Vikram to stop. Why are you running like express train? Vikram says we have to bring sweets asap. Monty asks him if he must do it. Vikram nods. We both must do it as we are the brothers of the bride and groom. Monty nods. They are headed outside when Vikram stops in his tracks. Monty has been following him and asks him why he looks so shocked. He tells Monty that Rakesh is inside (after noticing his jeep outside). He points it out to Monty. Monty asks him why Rakesh would be here. Vikram says it is sure that he is here. He wouldn’t have come here to congratulate us though. He must be here to do something wrong. They decide to go back inside and tell everyone. They go inside. Monty suggests talking to the ladies but Vikram stops him. Let me assess the situation first. Monty cannot see Kirti. They ask a girl who shares that Kirti is tired. She is resting in the room. Monty wonders where Simar would be. Vikram doesn’t want to worry everyone by saying that Rakesh is here. Let’s search the house. I am sure he is hiding somewhere. They start looking for Rakesh.
Rakesh receives a text that Rajeev has been buried 6 feet under. He must have died by now. Congratulations on the wedding! Rakesh smiles.
Rajeev gains conscious and wonders where he is. He hits at the box and shouts for help. He finds a phone there and looks around using the flashlight. Someone has buried me alive! He opens his sherwani. Will I die like this? He shouts for help. I cannot leave Parineet alone. She needs me! I am coming, Parineet! I cannot give up. He screams. Parineet needs me. I wont let her life be ruined at any cost. I must get out of here safely. He asks for strength from God. He finds a kirpan tucked in his waist.
Flashback shows Jaswant giving it to him as per their tradition. Rajeev says I respect the traditions but why do you want to give it to me. Jaswant says consider it as my blessing. Keep it with you always. Rajeev nods.
Rajeev thanks Jaswant from his heart. I promise you that I wont let anything happen to Parineet. I will maintain the dignity of this kirpan always. He starts hitting at the box with all his strength.
Vikram and Monty are unable to find Rakesh or Simar. Monty suggests him to call Simar. Rakesh must still be here if he is planning something. I am worried for Simar. What if she found out about him and he did something to her to keep her quiet? Vikram tells him not to think of that. They start looking again when Vikram finds broken bangles and a chain on the floor. Vikram tells Monty he was right. Simar is in danger.
Rajeev breaks free.
Shera hears the sound and wonder what the other group is doing inside. Rajeev says Jo Bole So Nihal. Jai realizes that this is Rajeev. They run to check on him. Rajeev apologizes to Waheguru ji and touches the kirpan to his head. He hears the sound of approaching footsteps and runs. Shera and Jai are shocked to see the empty box. Rajeev hides behind a tree. He wonders how he should escape now. He prays for help. Shera and Jai head in a different direction. Rajeev turns and notices a snake dangling from the tree. He panics. He tries to inch closer to it but jumps as it hisses at him. Rajeev is in a fix.
Vikram comes downstairs. I must tell Parineet and Rajeev everything. I will find Rakesh at any cost! He walks up to Parineet. Parineet and Harman asks him what happened. Vikram decides to tell everyone. He calls out to Rakesh. Rakesh is shocked. Gurinder asks him why he is taking Rakesh’s name. Vikram keeps calling out Rakesh’s name leaving everyone confused.
Precap: Vikram tells his father that Simar is missing. Harman is sure she must be around. Vikram shows Simar’s chain to him. Parineet asks Rakesh if he has done something to Simar. Shera tells Rajeev that they don’t have any enmity with him. We must kill you for Rakesh’s sake though. A gunshot is heard. Gurinder tells pundit ji that he only told Rajeev to cover his face with the sehra. Pundit ji denies. Gurinder realizes that the groom is Rakesh and takes his name.
