Banta tells villagers to understand Sarkar’s plight. The rate of resources has increased. Sarkar will never compromise on quality as it will decrease the effect of medicine. One villager refuses to compromise on the quality and pays the price. Few others go to meet Sai as they are unable to pay such a fee. Banta excuses himself.
Villagers come to Dwarkamai looking for Sai. They ask Baizama. She shares that He has gone to help a devotee. The villagers get worried. She tells them that Sai has suggested a solution for their problem already. He told me to advise all of you to go to the government clinic for treatment in His absence. You will also get the medicine for free there. Trust His choice if you trust Him. Santa overhears this and leaves.
Urmila tells her husband it isn’t right. She tells her MIL that people are in a bad state while they are earning profit from their plight and eating sweets with that money. What’s the need to do this? Mahesh tells her not to meddle in it as it is related to their profession. She reasons that she ha snever said it before. It is about people’s lives here. The doc was treating me selfilessy that day. She dint even ask for a penny. Janardan asks her if she has lost her mind. Someone else will earn profit if he wont. The world will be a mess if a lady starts treating people. Who comes to her anyways! Sarkar tells him that the situation is changing. Fakir has played his next card. Baiza Akka has sent few ordinary villagers to the clinic very smartly. I came to inform you as soon as I found out. Janardan worries that no one will come to them for treatment if Savitri succeeds in treating them. I told you not to increase the price of medicine so soon! Sarkar repeats that he will use his next strategy (of boycott) in that case.
Sai is feeding medicine to a patient. Doctor walks up to Him. Another helper is here so you can leave. It would be a disrespect to thank you for all that you did for us last night. I don’t know who you are but you turned out to be Messiah for us. Sai tells him to take care of himself and the patients. Doctor nods. Sai blesses him as He leaves.
The villagers come to clinic for treatment. Savitri welcomes them but Sarkar stops them. He asks the villagers if they have lost their mind. Will you let a lady doctor treat you? Why are you in a rush to die? One villager asks him what’s wrong in it. She has been sent here by government. Sarkar calls it a strategy of government. Look at her! does she seem capable? She wouldn’t have been sent to a village if she was capable. Government does not care about you but I do. I am the Mukhiya of this village so I must make a decision for everyone. No villager will get himself treated from her! Savitri tries to object but he tells her to be in her limits. I am speaking to my villagers. He asks the villagers if the disease had spread if government had a cure. Will you let yourself die for saving some money? You should jump into a well instead. Don’t put the life of everyone at risk by getting yourself treated by an inexperienced doctor. I have decided that no one will put their and the lives of other people at risk by getting themselves treated by this lady doctor! I will banish that person along with his or her family if that happens. One villager reasons that they cannot buy his medicine as it is expensive. Sarkar advises them to go to the camp outside Shirdi for treatment then. You will survive if you are lucky but don’t even dream of coming here! Villagers leave. Sarkar looks at Savitri and then tells Banta to inform the villagers of the same. They leave.
Savitri’s mother tells Savitri to change as others wont. Till when will you live on false hope? Savitri asks for one more day. I will leave from here if no one comes to me by tomorrow. I wont try to treat anyone ever again then.
Sai stops in His tracks.
Keshav and Tatya are in Dwarkamai. Baizama asks them what happened. Tatya shares that Sai returned last night but He is still sleeping. Baizama is surprised. He never sleeps till this hour. What happened today? She calls out to Sai but He does not respond. She touches His arm and realizes that He has high fever. She wakes Him up. You have high fever. Why did you have to go somewhere in this situation? You only told me half of the story. You hid the fact that you will fall ill as well. She does not let Him get up and tells him to listen to her. She asks Tatya to give udi to Sai but Sai tells her not to do anything. She insists that it is time for everyone to treat Him. She tells Keshav to bring the Vaid from Sakori. Sarkar wont treat Him anyway. Sai points out that there is no need to go anywhere when the one who can treat you is in the village itself. Baizama gets thinking.
Tatya and Keshav support Sai. Baizama asks Him why He wont sit in the cart. Why are you bearing this pain unnecessarily? Sai replies that be it pain or fever, Ram ji never gives anything to anyone without a reason. They all leave from Dwarkamai. All those who meet Sai on the way hear about Sai’s wish and join them. Few villagers suggest taking Him to Sarkar but they share that Sai wants to get treated by Savitri only. Villagers find it strange and worry for Sai. One villager knows where Sai was and what He was doing in the camp. Baizama asks Sai if this is His age to help others. Sai says how one can avoid serving people when it will do them good. Let’s go. Word spreads in Shirdi quickly and all villagers rush to be with Sai. A lady requests Sai to not get Himself treated by a woman. We will pay every penny to get you treated. Sai reasons that capability is required for treatment. I trust her completely. Banta notices everyone and realizes that Sai must have fallen ill. Sarkar’s way might become clear soon. His ally suggests following the villagers. We should know where they are taking Him.
Savitri thinks of Sarkar’s words. Aayi is right. I am hopeful for no reason. How will villagers trust me when my own teachers and educated people of city couldn’t trust me? No one will go against the Mukhiya. Why will someone come to me now? I should pack my stuff. She hears some commotion when she stands. She is surprised to see everyone outside. What happened to Sai? Baizama shares that He has high fever and He will get treated by you only. Sai nods at Savitri who nods back.
Precap: Janardan asks Sarkar if he really wants to send Savitri away. Sarkar replies that this isn’t the first time that he is doing this to his enemy. No one will find out anything. Urmila overhears it and decides to save / help Savitri. Her condition becomes worrisome while walking. Sai looks up from dhuni.
