Janardan questions Sarkar on his info. Sarkar says I had no idea that a new doctor will turn up in Shirdi. Santa corrects him. It is a woman! Sarkar laughs at the idea of a female doc. He tells Janardan there is nothing to worry now. What will a woman achieve by becoming a doctor? Women cannot treat people. They panic the moment they see blood. She might have read few books and became a doctor but people wont trust her with their lives. You shouldn’t worry. He asks Santa what he was saying. Santa shares how Chetan’s mother dint let Savitri treat her son. It was because her hand was shaking while giving injection. Sarkar points out that she lacks experience and confidence. Who will approach her for treatment? Janardan asks him what if they start trusting her. sarkar is positive that people only trust men for treatment. I will make sure she wont have even the slightest confidence in herself. Janardan asks him how he will do it. Sarkar tells him to focus on profits like he said earlier. I will handle the rest.
Sarkar takes Santa aside. Find out everything about Savitri. Santa shares that he kept he dint say it in front of Janardan but Savitri has met that Fakir. Sarkar says I know what He will do. I have refused His proposal so he will use her as a shield to hurt me. Hari Om!
Keshav brings Savitri and her mother to the clinic. Savitri points out that the clinic is quite dirty. Keshav says it has been closed since some days. She replies that she will take time in cleaning the place but Keshav goes to bring the cleaners who used to work for Dr. Pillai. Savitri thanks Sai for helping them and for encouraging her. Sai says it is like I said. You are our hope in this time of despair. She thinks of the bitter words of the villagers earlier. She tells Sai that He is the first person who has accepted her profession positively. Her mother still speaks against it. Sai tells Savitri that she will face many challenges in her way. You will have to face them yourself and believe in yourself. You must forget the past and live in today. Ram ji has given you a chance to prove those who doubted you as wrong. Don’t lose this chance.
Keshav is on his way to the clinic with the cleaners. They are happy at the prospect of a new doctor coming to Shirdi. Once they reach, they ask Keshav about the new doctor. Savitri steps forward. They ask her about the new doctor. She introduces herself as the new doctor. They drop their things in shock. A lady doctor? Keshav introduces them to Savitri. He tells them to help her just how they helped Dr. Pillai. One of them asks Keshav how she can work here. Keshav asks him why she cannot. He replies that she is a woman. Sai asks them who said that a woman cannot be a doctor. The person asks him how a woman will be so knowledgeable. Women handle homes. It will be like playing with someone’s life. Sai says a person needs knowledge, the intention to serve others to become a doctor. She has both. Who would leave their house and come so far otherwise? We should respect her for that but you are questioning her! The cleaners are not willing to let someone play with their life. We wont get treated by a lady doctor and we wont even work under a woman! She can play with the lives of people but we cannot become a part of this sin! They leave. Keshav tells Sai he had no idea that they will behave like this. How can they think so low? Savitri’s mother says this is what has been going on with her. you may think that I do not support her but I was her biggest supported. Her Baba and I did everything to make her a doctor. There were so many obstacles in the way but we thought that people will stop taunting once she becomes a doctor. I was wrong though as people refuse to stop. Something hurts her every day. I cannot see her like this every day. Savitri is sad.
Sarkar and Janardan are happy after hearing about the recent incident at the clinic. Janardan reminds him that he will have to bear the loss if anything goes wrong. Sarkar assures him that that situation will never come. It was few people today but entire village will refuse her tomorrow. Just wait and watch.
Sai tells Savitri’s mother to give encouragement and strength to Savitri if she has given her power to dream. We can at least share her problems and pain if not decrease it. Savitri’s mother asks Him how. Sai keeps His bag outside and goes inside. He starts cleaning the place. Keshav asks Him why He is doing this. Sai says she has come to help us here. It would be great if we can support her in this. I will surely do this good deed. Keshav agrees to help as well. Savitri wipes her tears and starts cleaning as well. All 4 of them fix everything together.
Janardan introduces his wife Janki to Sarkar. He asks about his son (Mahesh) and MIL (Urvashi). She shares that they have gone to khandoba temple. Janardan gets worried for Janki as she is pregnant. Sarkar congratulates them. No one will be able to stop us once our work begins and you get blessed with a grandson.
Savitri thanks Sai for His help. Sai looks outside.
Urmila is feeling dizzy. Mahesh advises her to sit for some time but she is reluctant. They continue walking.
Sai suggests cleaning outside as well. Savitri, Keshav and Sai are cleaning when Urmila feels extremely dizzy. Savitri runs to help her. sai stops Keshav from going. Savitri suggests taking Urmila to the clinic. Mahesh is relieved that Urmila’s condition worsened outside clinic only. Doc will check her and tell me. they help Urmila ie down on a table. Mahesh mistakes Keshav to be the doctor but Sai tells him to look ahead. Your wife’s treatment has begun already. Savitri checks Urmila. She asks Keshav to mix sugar and salt and give to Urmila. Mahesh is confused but Savitri assures him that she was tired. She will be fine once she drinks that. Mahesh asks her how she is sure about it. Sai says she is Shirdi’s doctor. Mahesh calls it impossible. She is a woman! Sai says she has studied for it. Government must have thought of something if they have appointed her. urmila tells her husband that she is feeling better now. She tells Savitri that she was right. I was exhausted. We have just reached Shirdi and then we came for a walk. It was bound to happen. Mahesh agrees that it could be the reason. Let’s still meet Kulkarni Kaka once. Savitri tries to reason but he refuses to trust a lady doctor. Urmila tells her husband that she is right about her condition. I was tired. He tells her that Kulkarni Kaka’s house is on the way. I do not trust this doctor anyway. Urmila says I do. He helps her step down the table and heads home.
Savitri’s mother tells Savitri that no one will take a lady doctor seriously. They will come here under compulsion but they will visit a male doctor later.
Precap: Savitri and her mother come to Dwarkamai for pravachan. Savitri greets Sai. Villagers look at them strangely. Savitri’s mother tells Savitri nothing will change. Why do you hurt yourself so much? Why did you come here?
