Scene 1
Sunita asks Suresh why did you leave your job? What was the need to take that decision? Suresh says I can’t tell you everything. Tulika says he doesn’t care anymore. Suresh says I can sit at home and you both can work. Tulika says what? Suresh says women can work and handle things on their own. Look at Nima and her daughters, they work hard and take care of themselves, women are strong and can be independent but some women just like to put others down, he taunts Tulika and leaves. Tulika tells Sunita that her son is going out of hands. Tulika scolds Varun and asks him to focus on his studies.

Mania tells Nima that I am going to return the bracelet. Nima says we have an age gap but I trust my daughters. I know you might feel bad about my words so I am sorry. Mania says don’t say sorry to me, I should be sorry for being angry with you. Nima hugs her and smiles. Mania leaves. Nima says let’s call Sia. Sia takes the call and says my battery died. We are leaving, I am sorry about yesterday. Nima says we will talk when you come. Sia ends the call. Sia asks her manager where is Shiv? He says I don’t know. I thought you would go back with Shiv. Sia calls Shiv but he doesn’t pick up.

Sunita calls Tulika and says something is wrong. You were right, Suresh has changed, he has become a lion when he was a cow before. How will we survive without him working? Tulika says we will have to sell this house if this goes on. I knew Suresh was up to something, he did talk about selling this house. Sunita says what to do? Tulika says I have an idea. Sunita says just tell me.

Paras is talking to his friend Hemant. Mania arrives at his office so Paras hides and asks Hemant to not let her meet him. He leaves. Mania comes to Hemant and he says you can’t meet Paras, he is in a meeting. Mania writes a note and Hemant to give the note to Paras. She gives the bracelet and leaves. Ganesh comes to Hemant and says Paras took the bracelet back? Very good.

Mania is leaving Paras’ office but she left her phone inside. She goes to take and sees Paras laughing with Hemant. Mania gets angry knowing that Hemant lied about Paras’ meeting. She starts leaving angrily. Paras stops her and says sorry, I was busy with work. Mania says you don’t have to explain anything to me. You could have told me to not message you, I thought we were friends but we will be professionals so I won’t meet you again. She angrily leaves from there. Paras looks on.

Tulika shows property papers to Sunita and says I was hiding these from you. Sunita says what does this say? Tulika says Suresh is going crazy so this house shouldn’t be in his name. Sunita says you are right, if he doesn’t own this house then he can’t sell it. Tulika says you are right. Sunita says I don’t understand why you made these papers. Tulika says I did this for myself, you and my son. Sunita says I am still here so get my name on the papers too. Tulika says you don’t trust me? Sunita says I don’t trust anyone now.

A new maid comes to Maaji and gives her conditions. She says I will work on my timings otherwise I have a lot more opportunities. Maaji interviews more maids but doesn’t like anyone. Suresh comes there and meets Suman. He gives te gift back and says I know you got into this mess because of me. I promise to leave this job. Suman says Nima has already resigned from the job. Suresh is shocked. Suman says she didn’t say anything, just left the job like that for you. She left the job for which she has worked for 20 years. Suresh says she can’t leave the job like this, please don’t hire anyone else. Suman says I will try to stop Maaji but what if Nima doesn’t agree to come back? Suresh looks on.
