The Episode starts with Maadi Baa asking Anandi to rest and then work. Anandi says no Maadi Baa. Maadi Baa says you are small like other kids, and asks her to have rest. Anandi says she is not tired. Sejal says I was waiting for you to come and tell me, how was your first day in school. Anandi recalls Ratan used to ask her the same thing. She says it was good. She finds lizard and shouts. Sejal says from where did it come? Jigar picks it. Anandi says it is fake. Jigar and Kanku laugh. Anandi continues to work and don’t laugh.
Ratan asks Khim ji what happened? Khim ji says school authorities have removed Anandi’s name from school, now she can’t study there. He asks her to keep the paper and says this will remind us, how we have snatched her childhood. Ratan worries for Anandi. Anandi studies in her room. She reads the English sentences. She talks to her parents’ pic and says this school is more big than her previous school. She hopes they see her in school. Sejal comes to Anandi’s room and finds it cleaned. She thinks Anandi has done it herself. Ratan calls Sejal. Sejal picks the call. Ratan asks can I talk to Anandi? Sejal asks are you fine? Ratan says make me talk to Anandi. Sejal says you can’t talk to her right now. Ratan asks if she is doing any work or got punished. Sejal says no, Anandi has gone to school. She says she is going from yesterday. She says trust me, I won’t let anything wrong happen with Anandi. She says whatever Prem ji did was in anger, but for house betterment. She says he loves Anandi a lot and says trust me, I will take care of Anandi like a mother. Ratan asks her to send Anandi’s pic in school uniform. Sejal says ok, and asks her to send the TC of her old school. Ratan says ok and thinks if Anandi gets educated, then their penance might be less.
Teacher asks Anandi to stand up. Teacher asks her to say, how you will say in English, I came out of house and reached school. Anandi asks shall I say family composition. Teacher asks her to say answer of this. The girl tells other girls that she don’t know. Anandi says I house out..going school. The students laugh. Teacher says don’t worry, you will know slowly, shall work hard. She asks the students to do the homework and come tomorrow.
The girls laugh at Anandi and make fun of her. A boy asks them to stop it. The girl drops her pencil pouch. Her friend asks her to show the geography HW. Anandi gets up to pick the pouch, though a boy asks her not to fight with the girls. She bends down to pick the pouch. The girl asks her not to touch the purse. Anandi picks the pouch and stitches it with her hair pin. She then picks the sketch pens and keeps in the pouch. She says now it is fine and returns the pouch to the girl. The girls regret their mistake, and come to Anandi. Anandi asks what happened? The girls say sorry and thank her. Anandi says it ok, when you become my friend, I will also do this. They ask, will you be our friend? Anandi says yes. They say friends. Anandi asks will you help me in understanding English. The girls say yes.
Sejal tells Anandi that if the baati is dipped in the ghee then it lasts longer. Prem ji comes there talking on phone and tells Sejal that Mehul Bhai and his family are coming to India, we will get finance for our business. Prem ji tells Anandi that Mehul’s son name is Anand. Maadi Baa says Anandi and Anand splash happiness in their house. She asks Anandi to help Sejal in housework. Prem ji says I will make you meet Anand. Anandi thinks don’t know how Anand will be?
Anandi tries to learn English in night. She talks to Ratan’s pic and says it is very difficult to learn English. She says when I returned home, Sejal Kaki clicked my pic in school uniform. Ratan looks at Anandi’s pic and says Sejal must have tried to make you laugh, but you didn’t laugh. Khim ji comes and switches off the knob of the gas. Ratan asks him to make her meet Anandi once. Premji drops Anandi, Jigar and Kanku home. He jokes telling about his school days. Jigar and Kanku laugh. Anandi says I like to go to school and walks away. Khim ji and Ratan come there and look at Anandi going inside the school. Ratan says I want to run to her and hug her. Anandi senses her presence and calls Baa. Ratan says Anandi has called me. Khim ji says it is your misunderstanding. Ratan says I can’t even hug my daughter and cries. Anandi looks here and there. Kanku calls Anandi.
