Ek Mahanayak – Dr. B.R. Ambedkar 20th August 2021 Written Episode

The episode starts with Rama questioning why Bhim Rao left early. Bhim Rao said that his teacher asked him to come in order to learn Sanskrit.

Th teacher was waiting for Bhim Rao, thought he didn’t come. Bhim Rao showed up, he was late because he didn’t want to disturb his yoga. He asked for the work. the wife asked him to sweep. The teacher threw the broom at Bhim Rao, he called out all the neighbors introducing Bhim Rao to them as the new Garbage men of the society. Bhim Rao questioned that he would get lat. It wasn’t teacher’s headache. The wife asked Bhim Rao to throw the garbage in a dumpster nearby.

The woman asked Rama if her work cause any trouble in the family. Ramji didn’t tell anyone about it, he asked her not to exhaust herself. They left with a man asking for work.

Daliya amma asked Meera about Rama’s experience. The women nearby said that she must have left to buy oil after last night’s drama. Meera asked everyone to worry about themselves. Daliya amma question Jijabai. Jijabai refused to have any information about her. Meera questioned her. Jijabai said that she didn’t know. Lakshmi came to her and said that Jijabai knew where Rama went. Jijabai said that she sent her work, Rama would tell everyone about it herself.

Bhim Rao collected all the garbage, went outside to throw it in the dumpster.

Rama was talking about her husband to her colleague, his urger to learn Sanskrit. They were carrying mud on their heads, shifting them from one place to the other. The woman questioned what Bhim Rao would do of such knowledge. Rama replied that he would change the fate of lower caste. Rama and the woman saw Bhim Rao. The woman said that Bhim Rao’s education was useless, he was doing the same job as her. Rama thought to herself that Bhim Rao lied to her. the woman said that Bhim Rao was giving her false hope. Rama left; she didn’t want to work with someone who said bad about her husband. She said that her husband never lies.

Rama followed Bhim Rao. Bhim Rao called teacher’s wife outside. He had cleaned all the garbage. He asked for water. The wife refused to give him water. Bhim Rao said that if he would get late for college if he went to search for water. The woman was giving him water when the teacher stopped her. he said tat Bhim Rao would do whatever they say to him for the next seven days, he wasn’t allowed to drink water from here. he went inside. the wife questioned why Bhim Rao was putting such effort to learn Sanskrit. Bhim Rao said that the reason was too complicated for her to understand. He was doing because his wife asked him to, it was his need. He left. The teacher left as well. Rama grabbed a water pot from there to feed Bhim Rao water.

Bhim Rao noticed a woman with a water pot, he asked her for some water. The woman fed Bhim Rao water. It was Rama. She had her face covered with her Saree. Bhim Rao thanked her and then left. Rama didn’t want to embarrass Bhim Rao by revealing herself.

She went back to put the pot back at its place, she marked it with a cross so that people could know that someone took it.

Rama went back, Daliya amma questioned her. everyone inquired where she has been going to. A woman said that there are a lot of bad places for a woman to be at. Jijabai asked her to tell everyone. Rama sad that she went to work, she had needs like everyone else. The people asked why she came back. Meera asked everyone to leave. Meera said that Rama should have informed her. Rama questioned if she would have allowed her to work. She knew how much important it was for her to work.

In college, the substitute teacher excused himself from teaching as he wasn’t feeling well. He asked students to revise previous syllabus. Bhim Rao thought to himself that everyday excuse would damage his education, he must do something about it.
Jijabai asked why Rama came back. Rama said that the woman said foul about Bhim Rao. Jijabai said that Bhim Rao wasn’t God. Rama refused to hear anything any thing bad about his husband. Jijabai slapped Rama.
