Ishwari is sitting thinking what Soha said that Aayush cannot be Dixit and will remain Ayushman Verma, Ishwari says to Radha she is worried that Soha said Aayush cannot be the member of the family even after tying the Rakhi, she is shocked that even Sonakshi did not say anything and just mentioned it is not right, she doesnot know what to do as the only solution is what the Pandit jee advised, they should change the name of Aayush, Ishwari calls the Pandit jee requesting him to come at the first auspicious moment in the morning.

In the morning Ishwari is looking continuously at the time clock while she watches why Ishwari is not leaving, she comes to Aayush asking if he needs anything, Radha coming to Ishwari asks why is Sonakshi not leaving as it is time for the Pandit jee to come, Ishwari asks if Sonakshi is not going to the office then should make something special for the children, Sonakshi says she needs to leave as there is also an important meeting, Radha calls the Pandit jee, talking with him, she informs Ishwari that he is coming in five minutes.

Ishwari is with Pandit jee who takes the name of Aayush, Ishwari asks him to call him as Veid, Pandit jee replies that the kundali of Aayush is in complete sync with his name so after changing the name all the problems would be removed, Radha is stopped by Baldev who asks what is happening, she mentions that Ishwari is planning to change the name of Aayush, Baldev also stops Ishwari asking what she is doing as she needs to ask them both because they are the parents, Ishwari replies she is the grandmother of Aayush so knows what is best for him, Baldev exclaims she can at least consult her own daughters, they will tell her if she is making a mistake, Ishwari ask why should she cause problems for the daughters when she can solve them by herself, she doesnot listen to her brother explaining he must be ready to bless Aayush after the pooja.

Aayush is writing his name on the books, Ishwari comes asking what is he doing, she mentions he must change his clothes, Aayush asks if they are going anywhere, she mentions there is a pooja to change his name, Aayush requests her to call Sonakshi because she promised to not change the name because he also likes it, Aayush requests her to call but then Ishwari replies she listened when he was talking with his Grandfather who asked him to listen to what the elders say in this house because this is his new house, she forces him to change his clothes.

Baldev is standing when he sees Aayush coming down with Ishwari even when he doesnot want to, they start performing the pooja but Aayush is constantly looking for Sonakshi, he is even crying but is worried that his name will be changed even when Sonakshi promised that she would not have his name changed and has talked with his Grandmother, Sonakshi is driving when she notices she has left the file in the house so thinks she needs to turn back to get it, she is driving towards the house when Bijoy calls her mentioning he has hurt his ankle so would she come to pick him, Sonakshi agrees to come to him.

Dev is sitting with the principal asking if they cannot have Aayush admitted to the school on adoption basis, the principal replies then his name would be changed at the papers, Dev mentions what might be the problem because he would remain his son.

Ishwari is with Aayush sitting in the pooja, she forces him to perform the rituals, Radha then presents him with the gifts and even Ishwari tries to make him eat the sweets but he leaves from the pooja crying without even listening to anything, Ishwari hands Pandit jee the money, She is worried about what would Sonakshi do when she comes to know that they have changed the name of Aayush, Radha sees Sonakshi asking about her mobile so asks who is she trying to call, Ishwari calls Dev explaining she has changed the name of Aayush to Veid, Dev asks what has she done because he likes the name, Ishwari replies he is a child so they as the elders have to think of their bright future, Ishwari asks him to talk with her because she doesnot want to create any scene in front of Veid.
Vicky asks Alena if she is ready to leave but she refuses to come with him explaining that she will stay back at home, Vicky replies this is better as now he would get the home made food, Alena agrees then he leaves, she hurriedly closes the door thinking where have her ear rings gone as she places them with care, she wonders if someone has really broken into their room, the stalker has the ear rings in his hands, he texts Alena, she after reading it quickly posts a photo, she reading the reply thinks they sometimes have to put on a fake mask for the fans.

Sonakshi comes out of the car with a smile, Dev sits on the bench in a state of confusion, she is really excited explaining she has bought new cups for Aayush with his name on it, explaining she did not know he would get so romantic like the old times when they used to drink tea and coffee, while also going on the long drives, Dev replies he wishes he could be as happy as her, she asks what has happened, he replies that Ishwari changed the name of Aayush to Veid, Sonakshi starts panicking saying that Maa changed the name of Aayush with all the rituals and pooja without even consulting them, she asks if he knew about it, Dev assures he did not know anything otherwise he would have stopped it, she turns to leave, he holding her hand exclaims he called her so she can calm herself Sonakshi questions how can she be calm because Maa is wrong and should not have done it, she asks him to come with her while she will talk with Maa, Dev replies they cannot change what happened but should accept the facts, Sonakshi asks what should they do because now if they stand in front of Ishwari, Aayush would start hating her, Sonakshi asks if he knows what Aayush would think of her because she made him a promise and was not able to keep it, she knows he would hate her asking what sort of a father he is because he is not taking a stand for his son, Dev tries to explain he knows she is emotionally hurt but they should not do anything that might cause even more problems, Sonakshi replies she would not let it happen, she explains she will not come back to the house as she cannot face, she leaves without letting Dev sya anything else.

Precap: Dev promises to call him as Aayush even when his name would be written as Veid, Sonakshi explains to Bijoy she has failed to fulfil a single promise, Dev calls her mentioning he knows she is listening, requesting her to talk with Shuv.
