In the previous episode, we saw that Yashwant has brought home-cooked food for Siddhi. She is happy to have it. Soni says before we start eating Shiva and Siddhi will say Ukhana. Ukhana is two or three rhyming lines which have the name of your spouse. Kaku says one for Kaka to help Shiva but he denies doing any such ritual. when forced by Yashwant he says “Na kuch kehna hai an kuch sunna hai, master ji ki beti ka naam lena matlab much kadwa karna hai”. Soni doesn’t like it a bit and says she should have said the name not master ji ki beti. Now its Siddhi’s turn, she says ” raste mein pade patthar ko puja nahi jata, naam Shiva hone see koi bhagwan nahi ho jata”. The room witnesses a silence after this. Siddhi once again recalls all that Shiva has done to her life and Gaurav”. Aai calls Siddhi, she asks if she is fine. Siddhi says that she is and will be fine. Siddhi has hidden a knife under the pillow. She hides the knife again as Shiva enters the room. He takes a pillow and blanket and goes to sleep on the floor. He asks Siddhi to put the knife in the door and sleep without any worries. Siddhi is shocked.

Siddhi is not able to sleep because of the lights. She gets up to switch off the light but falls on Shiva. is manages somehow not to touch him. She finally switches the light off but gets scared of a scream. It’s Shiva, he is screaming on the top of his wife and asking Siddhi to switch on the light while he is holding her like a scared baby. Siddhi asks if he is scared of the light. Shiva goes out of the room.

The next day morning Siddhi wakes up and misses her family. She sees her mother and family everywhere. She sits outside the house with tears in her eyes. Yashwant brings tea for her. Yashwant asks her to call her Baba. She agrees. Yashwant observes that she hasn’t slept well. He says Shiva must have kept the lights on. He tells Siddhi that when Shiva was a child his friends locked him in a dark cupboard since then he is scared of the dark. Akka Bai’s PA calls Shiva and says that she has called for him and Siddhi. While Shiva wonders why Akka Bai has called Siddhi along with her, Yashwant shows Mangalsutra to Siddhi. He says he gave the same mangalsutra to Mangla. He adds that I worked night shifts to save for this mangal sutra. Mangla was never able to understand its worth, I hope you will. Shiva asks Siddhi to get ready to go to meet Akka Bai. Siddhi refuses and says I am not her slave, you go if you want.
