Prahalad is studying but finds it difficult to learn. Sai says a mantra. Prahalad says I am unable to even read it. How will I explain the meaning? Baba is making me read Gita and will ask for translation in evening. Help me please. Sai explains the meaning to him. One must use their brains to progress and grow. You can either be your friend or your enemy. The choice is ours. We should try to distance ourselves from all the negative thoughts. They only bring doom and force one to do evil deeds. That distances them from God all the more. The mind of those who don’t let negativity take charge of them, is their friend. It helps them grow in life. Shree Krishna is telling us to kill the devil inside us and fill our heart with positive vibes and ideas. Those who succeed in doing it live a happy life whereas those who fail! He goes quiet.
A guy reaches a house and keeps the axe down.
Prahalad thanks Sai and takes his leave. Keshav and Tatya greet Sai just then. They see Sai cleaning a plate. Keshav asks him why He is doing this. Sai says it feels good to do something for Ma. What took you so long? They follow Sai inside. Keshav speaks about Holika Dahan. We were making preps for it. Sai starts arranging things in a plate. Tatya asks Him who it is for. Sai says I told you it is for Ma. Tatya says we don’t understand. Sai says we must go to Kopargaon today. Gopichand Sahukar’s daughter just got married. He has kept a puja. This plate is for that only. Tatya recalls Gopichand Sahukar requesting Sai to come to the puja and bless the newly-weds. Sai says my blessings are with them but it is Holika Dahan’s time. People of Shirdi wont like it if I will go out. Tatya seconds Sai. Everyone will miss Him a lot. Gopichand Sahukar says I can understand that. Let’s leave it on Sai. Flashback ends. Tatya begins to say something but Sai says I know what you are thinking. There must be a reason behind changing my decision. Tatya asks Him if they will be back in time or villagers will be worried. Sai says Holika Dahan is a way of seeing good win over evil. I am also making preps for Holika Dahan only.
Few men are chasing a kid. He stumbles upon a rock and hurts himself yet he keeps running. A bright light blinds him. He covers his face. A man steps forward. The kid runs to him and hugs him. The bright light disappears. Villagers don’t find the boy anywhere.
Next morning, a guy asks the kid what happened. He says everything calmed down later. I don’t know whose shadow is it. I see it everywhere. What is the meaning behind it? The guy says I don’t know about it either but it is good if that shadow makes things good. He sharpens his axe. Is it fine now? The kids now. Where will we go now? That man’s son interrupts him. I want a gold bangle. My friends tease me that I cannot afford it. The guy takes it on his ego. Go to the jeweler with your mother and ask him to make an expensive bangle for you. He gives a bundle of money to his son (Somu). His mother snatches it from Somu. She sends him inside. The lady throws the money at her husband. He picks it up angrily.
Sai smiles in Dwarkamai. Tatya shares that all the preps have been made. Ali and Bheema are coming with us. We can take Bheema’s cart. Sai declines. We will walk. Keshav reasons that it will take a lot of time. Will you be able to walk that much? Sai tells him not to worry about Him. Everything becomes easy when you are rooted to ground. We need haldi Kumkum. Tatya offers to arrange it but Sai says we would need a lot for the puja. Tatya and Keshav shoot each other a puzzled look.
He asks his wife (Shanti) what this is. She tells him not to spoil her son. The day wont be far when he will be spoiled completely. He tells her not to forget that Somu is his son too. Shanti says that is his bad luck. He raises his axe and volume angrily. She tells him not to shout. Those who are afraid panic. I am not afraid of you. She is having trouble breathing but continues talking. I have told you in the past and I am telling you again. I am compelled to let my kids stay with you. I cannot earn money or let them die. I am unfortunate that I must accept your money to buy food for them. I have not stooped so low that I will use your black money to buy luxuries. He keeps his axe over a piece of log angrily. Is that so? Shanti falls on the ground. He asks her if she is fine but she shrugs his hand aside. He helps her stand. He picks his bag, axe and tells her to do as please. Don’t force me to change my behavior though. He looks at his mother and daughter (Devki) who are watching them from the window. He looks at his wife painfully. I will never forgive you for separating my daughter from me. He leaves. His mother comes running outside but it is too late. She goes to check on her DIL.
Tatya, Keshav, Ali, Bheema and Sai are walking. They reminisce their childhood days. That was the best time. Everyone smiles. Sai stops at a crossroad. Ali suggests taking the shortcut. It is safe too. Sai says it might be but we will take left. Tatya asks him why. Wild animals are spotted on this path. Sai says they may but they don’t harm anyone unless they have a reason. Human beings need no reason though. It is a species who can harm anyone for his own sake. We will take left only.
Precap: Sai, Tatya, Keshav, Ali and Bheema see a guy lying unconscious on the ground. They request Sai to help him. Tatya says I have udi. Sai says he needs forgiveness, not udi.
