Hema switches off lights when Gehna starts stitching clothes and thinks how will Gehna stitch clothes now. Gehna starts stitching clothes with manual machine and thinks its already 10 p.m. and she can finish her work by morning. Kanak noticing that tells Hema that Gehna is stubborn, but she will not back off. Hema asks what will they do now as Gehna finds solution for all problems. Kanak says if she is smart, then she is oversmart. She walks to Gehna and asks what is she doing in outhouse. Gehna nervously says she is not getting sleep, so she thought of stitching clothes. Kanak says then she should stitch her and Hema’s clothes as they need to attend a party tomorrow. Gehna thinks Kanak saw her stitching clothes and may inform family, so she agrees to stitch their clothes. Kanak warns her not to inform family that she stitched their clothes. Hema gives her children’s stationery bill and asks her to give 1000 rs. She herself takes 1000 rs from Gehna’s purse and says she will handover her fake bill. Gehna starts stitching again. Next morning, Kanak and Hema walk down happily thinking Gehna must not have prepared breakfast for family, but get jealous seeing Gehna serving food to family. Kanak then orders Sagar to do whatever he wants but stop Gehna. Sagar cuts stitched clothes and walks away smirking.
Gehna gets Suman’s call who asks her to deliver clothes by 2 p.m. to the given address. Gehna notes down address and thinks along with competent DIL/bahu, she needs to prove herself as competent wife also. She picks sari and jewelry to go with Anant for his friend’s reception party and tries earrings. Anant enters and smiles looking at her. She feels shy and acts as searching something. He asks what is she searching. She says earring ring lock/pech. He says let us search together and strikes his head with her while searching, reminds her that she told they will get horns if they strike head once and hence should strike it twice. He finds lock and bends to pick it. She strikes her head with him and says now they will not get horns. He gets his friend’s call and says they need to get ready and attend reception soon. Gehna thinks how will she deliver clothes to Sapna kaki’s given address and lies Anant that neighbor liked Saraswati pandal decoration and hence called her to decorate her pooja venue. Anant says she can help neighbor, he will come to pick her up in the evening before reception. Gehna feels guilty for lying him.
During lunch, Hema serves sweets to family. Bapuji reminds Paresh that he has diabetes and may have to start. Paresh says he is right and asks where is Gehna as she must have prepared something. Kanak says Gehna is not at home and doesn’t inform them where she goes. Anant informs that Gehna informed her that she is going to decorate neighbor’s pooja venue and he is going to his friend’s reception. He chats with his friend and discuss same address where Gehna went. Sagar thinks Gehna lied and went to deliver dress, now she will be insulted. Gehna reaches venue and gives clothes to Sapna. Sapna asks why didn’t she send designer. Gehna says designer is busy, so she brought clothes and asks to pay money to her. Sapna says let client check the clothes first and asks lady to check it. Lady sees torn cloth and asks what this this. Sagar returns to Kanak and Hema and boasts that he brought Gehna’s ill fate to them and shows torn clothes. Kanak gets angry and shouts that he tore her favorite clothes instead, which her mom gifted to her. Hema says she will expose Gehna’s truth to Baa that Gehna is earning extra money to prove herself as competent bahu. Kanak stops her and says she will expose her when Baa announces a winner.
Gehna requests Sapna to give her money as she is getting late. Sapna’s client lady says her daughter is busy and will try the dress in sometime. Gehna gets tensed thinking she had to return home by now. Anant reaches venue and congratulates his friend. Client tells Sapna that the designer stitched clothes really well. Sapna tells Gehna that she knows she stitched the clothes and gives her money. Gehna walks away happily thinking this is her life’s first earning. Friend asks Anant why didn’t he bring his wife along. Anant says she has some work and will attend reception. Gehna buys 10 rs choc for Anant and thinks of gifting it to him as her first earning. She sees Sapna paying her more and goes to return it. Sapna says she gave it as a reward. Gehna says she needs only what she told and returns home, turns and stands shocked seeing Anant standing.
Precap: Anant asks why she had to stitch clothes to earn money, if Hema or Kanak had come to her room.
