Gajanan ji tells the villagers that Sai belongs to him. I have maximum right on him and everything that belongs to him. No one can separate m from him. Keshav says we are going to police station to file a complaint against the mad man who is staying in Dwarkamai forcibly. Udhav tells Gajanan ji that police will throw him out of Dwarkamai. Gajanan ji recalls a past incident and gets tensed. I will leave. You can stay in Dwarkamai and Shirdi but Sai will go with me as well. I will make my words come true. Entire Shirdi will yearn for Sai! Start counting backwards. You have time till I finish my darshan in khadoba temple. I will take Sai with me and leave from Shirdi then. This is my promise to you! Everyone gets tensed as Gajanan ji heads to the temple.

Sai comes to a house to seek alms. Champa smiles as soon as she hears his voice. She eyes him emotionally as she gives him rice. Sai asks Champa what happened. Champa requests Sai to come to her home every day. I will not be able to come to Dwarkamai but I will still be able to see you this way. Sai says I cannot lay burden on one house by coming there every day. Dwarkamai is Ram ji’s house. If it has been closed per his will today then things will change tomorrow. Have faith and patience. Sai begins to go when villagers come there. Baizama calls out to Sai. Sai turns around. An emotional Tatya tells Sai what Gajanan ji had said. This wont happen, right? Udhav says how can a person’s stubbornness be bigger than the devotion of so many people? Sai insists he is bound by his words. Keshav says you get out of our troubles. A lady says we are helpless today. We request you to please say no to Gajanan ji. Stop accepting his wishes. Sai says I may stay near or far, I will always pray for your well-being. I wont be able to repay your debt for years. They panic. What do you mean? Sai says I must fulfil my duty towards Baba. Baizama walks up to him with disbelief. You will go away from me too? You have no duty towards me? Appa Kote calls Gajanan ji selfish. He is only thinking about his own benefit in everything. Villagers refuse to let that happen. We wont let you go. Sai tells them to calm down. You all think he is selfish? He asks them to come with him if they think that Gajanan ji is selfish.

Villagers follow Sai. Sai points at Gajanan ji. Look at him and listen to his words intently. Gajanan ji is in temple. He tells pundit ji he wants to do abhishek. Pundit ji asks for reason but Gajanan ji tells him to leave his wish alone. It is between me and Khandoba ji. Pundit ji gives in. He goes to bring flowers and bel-patra for abhishek. Gajanan ji kneels down. I have come to you with one last wish. I want to do this abhishek for Sai’s long life. This world needs people like him. It does not matter whether I live or not. How will I help anyone? Give my life to Sai and I will feel blessed. Please accept my last wish. Villagers become emotional. Gajanan ji is in tears. A lady tells Sai that Gajanan ji wants to do abhishek for his long life. It makes us happy but who is he.

All the villagers have gathered around Sai. Sai says this was before I came to shirdi. I used to collect alms when I was gaining knowledge and experience. I could find something from somewhere every day but I couldn’t get anything for 3 straight days. My body gave up eventually. Sai sits outside a house. It was about to rain and the breeze was cold. A cart stopped in front of me just then. Flashback is shown. Young Sai is sitting outside a house and Gajanan ji steps out of the cart. He asks Sai who he is. What are you doing here? Sai says I am passing by. I am just resting for some time. Gajanan ji looks at him. You look tired. Have you eaten anything? Sai shakes his head. Come with me. Sai insists he is a Vairagi. I am not used to sitting inside big houses. Gajanan ji reminds him that he is elder to him. Come inside. Sai follows him inside.

Present:
Villagers look at each other in confusion. Sai shares that Baba had a big, happy family.

Flashback:
Gajanan ji’s wife is doing puja. He gives gifts to his kids. They thank him and go outside to play. His wife (Vaidehi) asks him if he got everything for the kids again. He reasons that everything he has belongs to them. She says we will not be left with anything this way. Gajanan ji says they will grow up by then. My happiness lies in their happiness. She points out that they too have to learn their responsibility towards him at this age. They must learn it or they wont learn to give back. He is positive that they will grow up and will be responsible. They will turn out to be good human beings if we will raise them well. He calls Sai inside. Sai greets her. Gajanan ji tells his wife to serve food to them together. She nods. Gajanan ji tells Sai to wash his hands. We will eat together. That’s my favourite food. Sai stares at his plate. Vaidehi tells her not to be hesitant. Eat properly or I will feel bad. Sai says you both don’t know me yet you have welcomed me with open arms. Gajanan ji says who said I don’t know you. Eyes reflect the character of a person. Your eyes are full of honesty. That’s why I brought you here. Stay with us for some days. You look ill. You need food and rest. Sai repeats that he is a Vairagi. How can I stay here? Vaidehi says we are like your parents. You will have to accept our wish. Don’t be hesitant. Sai smiles.

Present:
Baba has changed drastically over the years. He used to smile all the time. He wanted to see everyone happy. He used to give equal amount of freedom to kids as must as he is trying to restrain me today.

Flashback:
Gajanan ji is playing Chaucer with his kids. Sai looks on from a distance.

Preset:
He used to let the kids win so he could see them jumping with joy. That was his true nature.

Flashback:
The kids are playing in the garden. One kid falls down. Gajanan ji picks him up in his arms and takes his inside. Sai watches Gajanan ji taking care of his wound and him staying up happily all night to fan the kids as they sleep peacefully in their room.

Present:
His heart was in his family. He used to tell his wife to ward off any evil eyes from his family often. I left after 7 days but I can never forget the love and warmth that I received from him. While leaving, I prayed that Gajanan ji’s family should stay together like this forever but Ram ji had something else on his mind. His happiness turned into pain. He was put under tests. A lady asks Sai what happened to him. Sai shares that Mayi died few years ago. His son got married. Everyone accepts the truth one way or another but Baba could not bear what happened after that@

Flashback:
Gajanan ji watches helplessly as his kids fought in front of him.

Present:
Kids started asking for their rights and started forgetting their duties.

Flashback:
Gajanan ji’s DIL feeds kheer to her husband while he is working. Nothing is left here. Future is in another city. Let’s go now. Baba will manage things here. Gajanan ji overhears them. Sai says the younger son decided to leave the house. He dint pay heed to Baba. Both the sons went to Bombay. Baba was left all alone in that big house.

Precap: Gajanan ji asks Sai where he was till now. Sai says I was collecting alms. Gajanan ji tells him it was his last round. Let’s leave Shirdi right now. Sai tells him to calm down. Gajanan ji asks him if he is saying no to him. Sai says I have been here since years. Let me pack things up.
