Scene 1
Param looks at the empty milk bottle. Meher looks at him crying. Meher hugs Param. Meher says I made a huge mistake. I shouldn’t have slapped you. I am sorry. Param says don’t cry mama. You punished me for 70 rupees. Meher hugs him. Meher says it isn’t about money. We don’t beg. Meher says we ask from God and we work hard to earn. See how hurt papa is but hee keeps working hard. We work from our hard-earned money. Promise me you will be like papa. Param says I promise, I will never ask from anyone. Meher hugs him. Param wipes her tears and says don’t cry.

People chant for Kulwant. Kulwant says I want to tell a secret to the people of Punjab. It is that.. Pathak is an owl. Everyone is shocked. Robbie says she changed the party? Kulwant says if you see a snake or Pathak, kill him first. He accused my SIL to get votes. I will never be a part of any party but Punjab Dal. I promise you all Sarab will come in front of you. Scene 2
Aditi says Sarab’s kids have to beg? Her man shows her Param’s photo. ADiti says I never imagined this would happen. But Sarab now your own kids will shatter you and you will have to come back.

Sarab sits alone outside and recalls his family in trouble. HE cries. Sarab hits a tree. He recalls stepping out of the house. MEher looks at kids sleeping. Sarab comes in. Meher says I was waiting for you. Sarab goes to sleep without saying anything. Meher sleeps the other direction as well.

Scene 3
The next morning, Meher and kids do arti. Sarab is still asleep. Meher says we are all with you. We can’t see you in pain. We have to forget what happened and move ahead. She says Param ready? He says yes. Param says Meher ji is my black coffee ready? He is dressed as Sarab. Meher says you drink so much black coffee. He says one eye opens with one cup and the second with a second. Meher says and how many cups open your mind? Param holds Sarab’s hand and says Param you woke up? Meher gives Sarab’s thumb in his mouth. Param says bad manners, don’t put your thumb in mouth. Param stands on stool and says to Sarab come down. He kisses him and says papa loves you the most. Papa can see anything but can’t see you sad.

Manav comes home. He says mom.. Aditi says mom isn’t home. Manav says you said mom came back. Aditi says I lied. You weren’t home all night. He says is this all a joke for you? I am sued to of your digusting thoughts and plots. HE leaves. Aditi says I thought I will show you this photo but I will wait for right time. But sarab will come back before that.

Sarab hugs Param and says I love you. Param says I love you papa, I will never repeat the mistake I did yesterday. Meher mama told me, Singhs only ask from baba ji. I will work hard like you to earn. Sarab hugs him and smiles. Sarab hugs Meher as well. Sarab holds Meher’s hand and says I am sorry. I wasn’t mad at you, I was mad at myself. I thought I failed as a father. Meher says it troubled me as well. If Param actually begged yesterday, our upbringing would have failed. Sarab says you taught him and I am sure he will always keep this lesson. Meher hugs him.

Precap-Policeman comes in the house and takes a wallet in Param’s hand. He says you stole? You will go to jail. Param says I didn’t do anything. He screams Meher mama.. Meher comes out. The policeman puts Param in van and drives. Meher runs after the van. Param screams for help.
