Jugnu shows laddoo to the guards
Pranati shares that she gave birth to a girl years ago who dint even survive a day. It is her birth and death anniversary today. She would have eaten these laddoos with love if she was alive today. This is what I wanted to tell you all. I know the pain of losing a kid as I have lost mine! Archit’s mother is in shock. Pranati turns to Archit. I don’t want to lie to you today on our engagement today. I take full responsibility of whatever happens now! Decision is yours. Archit’s mother hypes the issue. Pranati’s father walks up to his wife. You knew it? Archit’s mother taunts them for not sharing this amongst each other. We wouldn’t have known this if that girl hadn’t come here! we are anyways compromising with the girl. Should we compromise on this too? Archit reprimands Pranati for hiding this from him since 5 years. She apologizes to him. I really wanted to tell you. Her mother seconds her. she was silent as I gave her my swear. Please don’t break the alliance. Archit’s mother asks her why they dint tell them this before. Pranati’s mother says should we have told you that Pranati gave birth to a girl who couldn’t survive. Pranati says she closed her eyes and breathed her last the same day. I understood the feeling of being a mother and of losing her kid in a day itself! Ma dint know how to tell this so she hid this. Archit’s mother holds Archit’s hand and tries taking him home but he stops her. All this happened with me. The decision will be mine only. I am ready to marry Pranati. His mother objects his decision. Archit says you will lose her salary and mine both if you refuse to make Pranati your DIL. You may not make her your DIL but I will surely become the SIL of that house.
Pranati comes to her room. She cannot stop thinking about Jugnu. Why am I thinking of Jugnu after whatever happened? She tries to find the number of the orphanage but her mother snatches the phone from her hand. She reprimands her for speaking the truth. Her husband questions her as well. Why dint you tell me this before? She says she dint come first. She was just 18 year old when she became a mother. It is better to hide such matter! Pranati says she was my daughter. She might not be alive for you but my daughter will always remain alive in my memories and my life.
Matron has tied Jugnu on a chair. You ran away on your birthday! How can I not fulfil your birthday wish? She decides to take Jugnu to a safe place. Jugnu promises her she will run away soon. Matron pours hot wax over Jugnu’s palm. Matron is miffed with Jugnu’s behaviour. She seems to be from some royal family! It is in her blood it seems!
Pranati looks at the engagement ring as Archit’s words echo in her mind. He points out that ring looks better in finger. She asks him why he came back. He says I never left. They exchange rings. He says maybe God dint want anyone to be present with us in this moment. Don’t stop your tears today. I never realised what you were going through since past 5 years. You could have told me as your friend atleast. She says there was nothing to share. He says it is what you shared today. Everyone has a past. You loved him? She nods. Yes, love was there. I was 18 year old and I dint even know the meaning of love back then. I remember that day clearly.
Flashback shows Pranati noticing a guy kissing a girl in the library. She tries to run away but the guy blocks her way by dropping books. She manages to run away. The guy keeps trying to establish a connection with her some way or the other.
Archit asks Pranati if that guy broke her heart. She nods. It was my mistake though. I fell for someone who wanted to break it.
A girl asks the same guy if he will break his heart. He smiles. She again asks him if she is the only one who he loves. Reyansh says there wasn’t, there isn’t and there will never be another like you.
Pranati says no one can be like that. He has hurt me so much that I cannot explain! I just hate him. He has killed me as well. Archit says I wish I could ease your pain. Not all men are alike though. Don’t punish me because of someone else. Pranati says I don’t know about other guys but I am sure Reyansh Khurana will never change.
The girl asks Reynash to tell his feelings to her husband. I want to marry you. He says marriage ruins everything. She shoots him confused looks. He offers to show her instead.
Pranati says Reyansh always used to tell me that I was, I am and I will always be his only true love. I am sure he says the same line to every girl he meets. I really wish Reyansh wasn’t a part of my life ever!
That girl’s husband tries to find his wife in the hotel. He even shows Reyansh’s photo but manager refuses to share any guest’s details. He decides to find Reyansh himself.
Jugnu looks back. I will see how she will do it!
Reyansh and the girl continue their cheesy talks.
Guards ask the American couple for money. They step out of the room to discuss it. Jugnu gets an idea.
That girl’s husband storms inside Reyansh’s room. His wife covers herself using the duvet. Her husband threatens to shoot Reyansh who bluntly tells the girl he loves his life more than her. He pushes her towards her husband, wears his jacket and jumps out of the window. It is okay to get a few bones broken. There is no point getting shot by this mad guy. Jugnu is standing in a similar position in the adjacent room’s window. They both are mentally coaxing themselves to jump. Jugnu starts first. Reyansh looks at her in shock. She is like a monkey! Jugnu signals Reyansh to jump. Reyansh follows suit. Jugnu tells him to grow up. You are crying in such a small jump. Reyansh asks her who she is. Jugnu says your father but then says your mother. Reyansh says gender confusion from such a young age. I don’t have time right now. We will catch up some other time. They shake hands.
Precap: Pranati calls at the orphanage but they refuse to share any details of any kid living there. On the other hand, Jugnu escapes again. She hides in a car’s bonnet stealthily. Pranati’s mother asks why she is so concerned about the kid. Pranati reasons that she needs to find out if the kid is safe or not. She decides to go to the orphanage to check on the girl herself. Guards have tied Jugnu on a chair again. Pranati is searching for Jugnu in the orphanage. She is very near the room in which Jugnu has been kept. One guard alerts others about something.
