There is a party in the office and the best performers’ names were announced. The guy Kabir announcing the performers’ name tells Nia Sharma’s name among other performers. Nia doesn’t come to take the award. Her friend comes and calls her. Nia tells that she is charging her phone. Her friend takes her to receive the award. Kabir welcomes her and tells that employee of the year award goes to Nia Sharma. Nia receives the award. Kabir says our App, heart to heart is Nia Sharma’s brain child and she has done a fabulous job and that’s why she is selected for the training in California. Nia gets sad. Everyone claps for her and congratulates her. Later Nia asks Kabir to give her two days for the planning. Kabir says I challenge you and asks her to show him and go anywhere. She gets a call and says next time surely. She leaves.
She comes somewhere and tries some guy’s shirt. The sales girl asks her to bring the guy for whom she is buying the shirt. Nia says he can’t come. Sales girl says sorry.
Later she comes home and talks to her father. She asks why there is no light and says you might have kept some candles. Her father says it is over. He says electricity is not at home since 6 hours. She asks why didn’t you call me. He says he had called. She says she has forgotten in office. He says he has to do all the work even cooking. She says today is your day to cook food. She checks the fuse and repairs it.
She tells that she got the award. He says he knew and gives her halwa and asks her to eat. She says you made dry halwa and makes him taste it. He looks at the award and asks what did everyone say in the award function. Nia says everything was regular and recalls Kabir’s words. She talks about her friend Kajal. In the morning, they massage each other’s head with oil. Song plays….gaadi do payye wali. They have tea together. Nia brings food tiffins silently and calls her Dad to come for breakfast. He asks if she brought for all day. She says I am making you eat gobi ka paratha. Her father says it is Aloo ka paratha and says you would have checked the box. Nia tells that Gobi might be over at Shukla aunty’s place and says you eats all tiffin. He says what to do, I am hungry. He asks her not to go with any guys to have coffee and asks her to call her friends home to have coffee. She says ok and goes.
Kajal and Nia meet each other. Kajal says don’t know how you handle your dad. Nia says my dad is my everything, friend, mother, father etc and says I love him. Servant Shanti comes home and starts making excuses. Nia’s dad writes on the calendar that she came late and cuts 100 Rs. Servant thinks don’t know how Nia handles him. Nia calls him and asks if Shanti came. He says yes and tells that he kicked her out, says you have to sweep and wipe the house. She says how I will manage work? He laughs. Later in the office, she writes dreams without actions are just dreams! Kabir comes and asks her to fulfil her dream and take action. He reminds her of California training. She says she needs more time. He asks seriously and tells that you are not living normal working life. She says yes, she is living normal life. She gets a call. He says Papa’s call. She says there is a routine set for Papa and her, but she will go to US. He says you have 24 hours to decide.
Later Nia calls her dad and talks to him. He is in his office and fires someone. He comes home and sings song. Nia comes home and asks him to come out of bathroom. She gives him jeans and asks him to get ready. He says just a min. They go out. Nia whistles and tells that shirt is looking nice on him. He says looks good on me. She says what mummy saw in you and tells that she was a stunner. He says she married me. Nia says mummy must have felt pity on you and says she rejected Khollar uncle. She tells that Khollar uncle was millionaire in US. He says I have travel agency. They come to watch film. A lady irritates them in the cinema hall and splash popcorn on his head. He asks the lady to sit on her head and get balcony view experience. They argue. The lady asks Nia to make her mad father understand. Nia asks her to stop it and says I am seeing since long how you pushed the chair with your leg and asks her to say sorry, else she will take her to Police station. The people ask her to say sorry. The lady says sorry. Dad asks her to say sorry again. Lady says sorry. Nia takes her dad out. He says I had bought 500 Rs tickets. Nia asks why didn’t you sit quietly and gets upset with him. He asks her not to make him feel guilty. She tells that she has to go to America for training, but she couldn’t say yes because of him. He gets shocked. She says I swear that I didn’t mean that. He starts walking. Nia comes and keeps her head on his shoulder. Tumse Jodi hai zindagi plays. He holds her.
