Mahishasur’s wife Maitriya pleads him not to marry devi Parvathi, else he will be killed by devi Parvathi. Mahishasur says Parvathi is also a hepless woman like her. Wife warns him again and prays that devi Parvathi ends Mahishasur. Mahishasur angrily pushes her away and punishes her. Devi Parvathi takes Devi Durga’s avatar. Narayan says gods didn’t help her due to their restrictions and made her realize her powers, he wanted his sister to realize her devi Durga’s avatar. Each god gift his special weapon to her from bow and arrow, spearhead, vajra, sudharshan chakra, etc. Her father parvathraj Himavath gifts her a lion as vehicle. Devi Durga sits on lion. Narayan says they are all blessed to see her powerful avatar.

Mahishasur eagerly waits for Parvathi. His guards inform that bride’s palanquin came. Mahishasur excitedly checks palanquin and finds his soldiers’ dead bodies. Devi Durga reaches there, and all his soldiers get afraid seeing her. Devi Durga warns Mahishasur that she will end him today. Mahishasur says he is immortal and nobody can kill him. Devi Durga turns Mahadev back from stone idol to his real form. All gods also reach there.

Battle of words start between devi Durga and Mahishasur. Mahadev offers his trishul to devi Durga and says he is always with her. Battle ensues between devi Durga and Mahishasur. Devi Durga stabs Mahishasur with trishul. Mahishasur realizes his mistake and apologizing devi Durga requests to free him from this body. Devi Durga grants him mukti. All gods praise devi Durga. Narayan says she is an epitome of womanhood, power, and intelligence and wherever she stands will be prayed for all the 3 qualities and all her disciples won’t be disappointed.
