The Episode starts with Laxman saying Sita means to say that I will be accompanying you to Vanvas, Urmila have given her consent, I will come to serve you, you won’t go alone, its my duty to look after you. Ram says I have promised to go on Vanvas, why would you come with me and bear the punishment, you have to be here to look after dad. Laxman says Bharat and his evil mum will be here to look after Ayodhya. Ram asks why didn’t you explain him Urmila. She says a wife can’t see her husband losing peace, I had to permit him. Ram says I can’t see you both getting separated because of me, I won’t let this happen. He goes to Sumitra.
Ram says Laxman wants to accompany me, he got stubborn, explain him. Sumitra says you have made me proud by making the sacrifice of your marital life and comforts,
the world will remember the brothers’ love, I feel lucky to be your son. Laxman cries. Sumitra says its your duty, Ram should not have any sort of troubles, do your duty. Laxman says as you command, mum…..
The people rush to the palace. Dasharath is upset and talks to his wife. Minister says we should tell the truth to Praja, else they may rebel. Kaushalya says inform them about Ram’s decision, tell them that Ram has decided this. She cries. Minister tells the Praja that Ram has decided to go for vanvaas for 14 years. The people get shocked. Ram removes the crown. Minister says Laxman will also be leaving for vanvaas, Bharat will be the king. Praja gets angry and out of control. Manthara comes to Kaikeyi. She says I told you, Ram will cheat, you sing praises of Ram, Ram got the news spread in Praja, so that Praja rebels. The people get against Ram’s decision. Manthara says Ram will come to you and tell about Praja not accepting his decision, he will refuse to go to Vanvas, he won’t become bad and get saved from fulfilling the promise. Kaikeyi says Ram loves the throne so much, it means I didn’t understand him ever.
Ram comes to meet Kaikeyi. Manthara hides. Ram greets Kaikeyi. He says I m ready to go to the jungle, but Laxman is going with me, I tried hard to explain him, but he didn’t agree. Kaikeyi gets shocked. She asks but why is Laxman going, my promise was just for you, why didn’t Sumitra and Urmila stop him. He says they supported his decision. He asks her to come out of Kopbhavan and bless him and Laxman. He says until you stay here in darkness, my heart will be in pain, I want you to come with me. He holds her hand and takes her outside the Kopbhavan. Kaikeyi recalls him. Manthara thinks Kaikeyi has won, control emotions.
Manthara comes and greets Kaushalya. She says Kaikeyi is coming out of Kopbhavan, Ram is getting her here, everything got fine. Ram gets Kaikeyi there. Kaushalya says Ram and Laxman are going to vanvaas because of you, you will prove it, go to them, play your role.
Kaikeyi gives the plain clothes to Ram and Laxman. Ram smiles and takes the clothes. Laxman gets angry. Ram asks him to take Kaikeyi’s blessings. Laxman obeys him. Dasharath, Kaushalya and Sumitra cry.
