Sadashiv gets more arrogant and self-proud after camphor does not burn his hand and he thinks he is god’s dearest and divine and scolds his disciples. In Dwarkamayi, Jhipri sees Sai’s burnt palm and asks how did he burnt it. He smiles. She says she will apply oodhi/holi ash on it and goes to get ash. Sunanda walks in. Sai greets her. She says his prediction was wrong, her husband is a divine man and though he did a mistake and tried to repent, but was unharmed and protected by god. Sai smiles. Jhipri asks Sai to show his hand and applies oodhi. Sunanda asks what happened to him. Jhipri says it is usual for Sai to help people and take their problems on himself.
Sadashiv arrogantly warns his aides not to make any mistake and seeing leaves garland missing from pooja thali yells at
them in front of all disciples. Aides request not to insult them in front of disciples. Sadashiv continues yelling and curses them to go to hell and be bitten by poisonous snakes. Aides confront him saying he gave pooja thali to them and if garland is missing, he must have missed it and should be punished instead. Sadashiv shouts how dare they are to insult a divine pandit like him and lashes them. They don’t feel pain, but Sai feels those lashes and starts bleeding. Sunanda and Jhipri are shocked to see that.
A snake Veerbhadra crawls down from Mahadev’s idol to protect aides and punish Sadashiv. Sadashiv gets afraid and sits in a corner. People discuss he is Veerbhadra and how did he come here suddenly. Sai orders Veerbhadra not to harm Sadashiv and walks to temple with Jhipri and Sunanda. People see him and ask who injured him. Sunanda falls down in tension seeing her husband in trouble. Mhalsapati pleads Sai to save his brother Sadashiv. Sai walks to Veerbhadra and addresses him that Sadashiv is their guest and respecting and protecting him is our duty, so he should go away; Sadashiv should not have cursed aides and should not have lashed them, but by punishing Sadashiv, he is punishing even innocent Sunanda, so he should go away from here. Veerbhadra crawls away. Sai asks aides if they are fine. They say yes, they didn’t feel even a slight pain when Sadashiv was lashing him ruthlessly. Disciple says they saw how ruthlessly panditji lashed aides, they would have injured like Sai. Sunanda reminisces Sai bearing lashes and thinks Sai was right and she was fool not to see his divinity.
Yamuna thanks Sai for saving Sadashiv. Sadashiv yells that begger Sai is an opportunist and skilled snake charmer, god saved him after he prayed and Sai did not save him. He describes all his incidents and says god saved him and not Sai. A disciple says we all saw what happened today and it is truth, Veerbhadra is a pious snake and Sai spoke to him many times before and always respects Sai’s words. Aide asks Sadashiv why he is denying Sai’s divinity. Sadashiv says they should respect him instead of trickster Sai. He says when prasad was over, a man brought prasad on time and Mahadev saved him that day. Sunananda says Sai helped him and not Mahadev.
Precap: Sadashiv continues insulting Sai when Sunanda falls ill. Sai tries to help her, but Sadashiv stops him. Mhalsapati requests Sadashiv to accept Sai’s help.
